Northwest Rental was fantastic. They happened to be there after hours and checked the truck out to us when the AWEFUL 24/7 truck share thing didn't work. Overall experience was very poor. What can you do to improve? Simple - MAKE YOUR STUFF WORK. I spent probably 2 hours on the phone with various U-Haul help numbers. Changing pickup location, conflicting communication, automated systems that didn't work, and a truck with the "check engine" light on when I got it. I picked one of the trucks/locations that was offered by your website. It turned out not to be available there - why not? I was switched to another location further away. The pickup time required the 24/7 thing. I have a phone. I installed the app, but it didn't work. After 20 minutes on the phone, I was given another number to call when I arrived at the pickup location. I did, but there was an estimated 50 minute wait time. Really? You do know that a move day is one of the most stressful, time-constrained experiences that most of us every have, right?Mark S.

I had reserved and confirmed a 20' UHAUL truck and a car hauling trailer from a separate location over 2 weeks prior to pickup. I was called by corporate the day before moving and was told my trailer to haul my car was not available and the nearest one was an hour away in the opposite direction of my one way trip. I was told I can drive to pick it up or cancel it. Then I was told my truck is not at my selected location and I had to go pick it up at this location. So I had to pay 2 people to drive 2 hours and come pick up my car the day I was moving and drive it to my new city, as well as pay for an uber to drop me off at the UHAUL. I am completely disappointed with UHAUL and the lack of integrity and professionalism by corporate. This issue has nothing to do with this current business/location. However, I will not likely be using UHAUL services again, beings that it costed me significantly more money than going elsewhere, even with planning and confirmation ahead of time, I was let down.KURTIS W.

The reservation, pick up and return processes were very easy and quick. Although the vehicle was clean and operable it appeared that it has been used in a rough manner by previous renters. The passenger side door appeared to be tweaked in a way that allowed outside road sounds to permeate the cabin area. The drive was very loud from within the cabin. Otherwise, the experience was good. Since this was an in town rental it was nice that the pickup and drop off location was close to home, which is always preferable.Charles M.

Our unit was clean, but reeked of gasoline. It was horrible. The hour it took to load, the hour travel time and the hour to unload, allowed time for that smell to permeate the items. Not to mention give all of us headaches. We unloaded our stuff then left the apartment so things could air out before we go back to unpack. That unit should have never been rented until it was cleaned and free of that smell.Casey F.

This place is not to be trusted. They know nothing about company policy nor do they even care about what kind of coverages you have. Do not take any of their reccomendstions to go to a locksmith and have a key replaced IF you have coverages. Just call roadside assistancd instead. This place "allowed" me to rent a uhaul for 14 days due to a lost ignition key for the uhaul itself. Get coverage! Those keys cost nearly $400 to replace. This rental costed me nearlt $500 due to needing to have my rental period extended for so long as I attempted to locate a key that I had coverage for.JOSHUA M.

Took 25 minutes to check in even though I had already done the online check in because he couldn't get the computer to work. Was short and rude. Same individual when I dropped off. Zero help and again short and rude. The online drop off was a hassle and did not work well. Will certainly never pick up a U-Haul or buy anything from that location again.Randall J.
