I only gave average rating because I ordered an appliance dolly, that was not available. I was not notified in advance, just told they don’t have any. I had to contact U-Haul to get help to locate one. It turns out the one we got was broken and hadn’t noticed that until we went to use it. The vehicle was clean and in great shape.

DAVID HComputer system was slow upon arrival with a long line. Drop off went the same Computer was completely down was told to leave keys on counter and that was it. Truck was dirty in back had zero hooks for straps. It could of went alot better.

JIGNESH DIt was very quick to pick up the trailer, someone was in the parking lot to hook it up and check the lights. I towed about 600 miles, and everything was fine, no issues.

CARL AEquipment was generally clean (a lot of dirt on the inside of trailer) but it was in good working condition. Staff was friendly and helpful.
JAMES LI have been renting tow dollys and automotive trailers the for the last few weeks to transport my non running car. The straps on the uhaul equipement are horrible and quite often require lot more effort to secure and unsecure the vehicle.

FRANK GService staff was not professional. As I walked in to return the rental, the employee made a negative remark that he had to support my return. I almost told him to find another job if he doesn't like this one. But I decided to just get the return completed and leave. I won't be back!

EZZELDIN EI had to go to three different locations to find the truck that I had reserved days before and the locations that were supposed to have the truck didn’t and I had to go to three different spots to find one taking an additional 3 hours and costing more money in mileage because Inhad to drive so much further to get the truck I needed. So somehow you guys messed up three times and it ended up costing me more money. What a shit show of an operation you guys have going on. I will never use your service again and I will tell everyone that I know how unsatisfied I am with the shit show that you guys provide.

ROBERT SMany problems - this was a seedy location, closed at 5 pm Saturday when I arrived, with no clear signage for where to leave the trailer. No clear place to leave the trailer, as the lot was so full. The online login process was terrible - kept refusing to accept my photos (step 5), taken with a standard iPhone13. After 25 minutes of attempts, I left the trailer and a message at the location advising the issue, and requesting a call back Sunday morning (did not receive). I called 10:30 am Sunday to inquire, and was greeted with, "You mean the 6x12 that was parked on top of the other trailer?" This smart ass comment was not appreciated (I left the 6x12 barely touching the tongue of another trailer, as there was no clear place to leave the trailer without blocking a door). The U-haul person then hung up on me. I will certainly never use this location again, and I will definitely call around to other rental locations the next time I need a trailer, as U-Haul is not the only game in town. Very poor end to my otherwise positive U-Haul experience, which have been generally positive all around over the years. Also, please note: U-Haul steered me to this drop-off location; I did not choose it; I actually selected the South Lyon location, but was steered to Novi.

DONALD JExtended hours is probably the only thing I can think of for improvement. Otherwise the people were nice and the equipment was well maintained. The truck came with a dolly and blankets for rent and you weren’t charged unless you broke the seal. I had a cart and blankets but still needed more and an extra dolly and 6 blankets came (for a reasonable price) in real handy so I used them. It was very nice (and a great sales idea) to have that option.

JUAN ZVehicle’s driver door do not close properly. When I asked the representative he said you just need to slam it hard. But through out the journey I can feel the cold air coming in. I was seeing warming message through out my trip which was hiding the mileage reading. When I get the vehicle the gas was not even close to 3/4 tank but while returning the vehicle I was told to fill the tank till 3/4 otherwise I have to pay fuel charges.
SANDEEP PI always book with the uhaul app. I'm here to tell you that it is difficult to use, and confusing. I was billed twice for the same rental, because your App defaulted to a 4 hr rental period when I needed a 12 hr rental. I blame the app, and its built in confusion, not Novi Feed. Novi Feed is a great place to rent from. If you can, bypass the app and call them directly. I simply used the "reserve equipment again" feature from my last 12 hr rental period, yet the app changed it to a 4 hr rental, and billed me again for a new rental when I didn't return the truck on time. This is ridiculous and unacceptable. I am a returning customer with 10 rentals on the books for 2024.
