The entire experience was a nightmare from beginning to end. First they reassigned my choice location. I rolled with it anyway. When I arrived, the suite number they gave me didn’t exist. I had to call the customer service line, and they had to walk me how to check out the uhaul truck over the app while out in the rain. Once I made it through the ridiculously long app process, I went to unlock the padlock on the back door of the truck, and it was extremely sticky and very difficult to move the lock letters. This was extremely frustrating out in the rain. I finally got the truck, an hour later, and when I got home to start to load the truck, the 2 dolly’s I had ordered were not on the truck. I had to call customer service again to ask where they were? They customer service rep had no idea that I had added them to my order, which I had, 2 days prior online. We were super nervous when we had to put the sticky padlock back on the uhaul for it to sit overnight because we feared it wouldn’t come off. Every time we tried to remove it, it would take at least 10 tries, and multiple people trying. They had to change my location for my return of the uhaul as well to further away. The smoothest part of this experience was the return. The gentleman made it so simple after a very long day of moving. Overall, this was by far the worst customer service and inconvenience. I dreaded having to ever book a uhaul again.
