Excellent! The staff called about missing equipment after because the Vancouver staff hadn't removed the equipment that wasn't available from my reservation, but the Parksville staff member was very understanding and resolved the issue for me.

It was arranged that the Truck would be feturned by me at 9pm. I was given a code to get through the gate. I was there by 8:30 pm to drop it off. I washed it before returning it and filled the gas tank. The code was incorrect. There was an intercom button nothing. . I honked my horn because. a light was on in the building upstairs. Maybe security or maintenance. I thought maybe I was at the wrong gate. I went further up the road and made a left nothing. I honked the horn again in front of the builing a few times for help...but the light was turned off. Please call me at 1 250-927-0991. I took the truck back in the morning before opening. The staff thought it was no big deal. I would like to talk to a Manager. I was upset..and inconvienienced when I couldn't get my own vehicle out of locke up. I had early morning plans.

My rental was specifically a size 10’ due to extra expenses if any larger, I am grateful this location had what I needed but I had to travel 150km there and back to pick it up, they covered the kms on hula truck but I had to hire someone to take me there , added expense I didn’t need

Overcharged by approx $125 for 1day cargo van rental. Location promised ( on 2 occasions) that I would not be charged for 2day rental when unit was returned after hours & would be provided with advertised “lowest price guarantee” neither of which happened. I provided feedback by email when “final “ invoice was received but no response to date. Called pick up location who said didn’t know why 2day rental happened or wasn’t provided with “lowest price guarantee “ both of which are responsibility of UHaul c/service & told me to call them. When U-Haul C/service was Called they said it’s the responsibility of the pick up location to administer? Still no resolution, credit card has been overcharged & waiting for a Regional Mgr to contact me back

Originally U-Haul sent me to a different location. They had no clue and no vehicle. U-Haul wanted me to go to the next city. Turns out, there was trucks available at the U-Haul location closest to me where I had originally asked to pick up a small box truck. Adding to the behemoth snowball of errors, I wound up with what I believe was a 24 foot box truck. Overkill to what I had ordered, and astronomical in its fuel cost. Moving in general is a bit stressful, add in the errors of U-Haul booking - a cortisol spiking nightmare. Arriving at the Parksville location absolutely turned the tone of the day around. They went above and beyond to make up for that disorder and lack of professionalism that was the U-Haul booking system.

In reviewing my final invoice, I noticed that you have charged me an additional CC charge of $11.12 that was not mentioned in the intial set up with the location. I could of paid cash and eliminated this charge. Let alone and enviromental fee of $1.00. Enviromental Fee for what? This does not sit well with me and will be considered the next time I have to rent a vehicle as such.

I can see nothing that needs to be improved. Staff were friendly and helpful. New Year’s Eve so they were closing early. They arranged drop off for after hours if needed. I didn’t need that service but I was grateful for the opportunity.

The service at Oceanside Storage was excellent. I can’t think of anything to improve it. My experience with UHaul was excellent again. I have come to expect this level of service all the time and I’m never disappointed.

This is by far the most friendly, clean, and generally great h-Haul I have ever been to. Normally I can’t say it is ever anything but a chore, but this location made it a pleasure to wait with a coffee.

I was charged a $25 cleaning fee for items I did not leave in the truck also for unfolded blankets. I was never informed I had to fold the blankets. I was told by the guys I did not need to fold blankets. I am a senior citizen on a fixed income. Very poor business practice!

I requested a 20 foot van , was given a 26 foot which was more money and twice as hard on fuel as my only option , dont offer products you cannot deliver , the van was given to me at an odd location on the fuel guage between 1/2 and 3/4 , not full as indicated , i filled to this mark and was still charged fuel charge , will not use u haul again thanks ! i believe its a scam to make more money , i work for bc hydro and we use the vans often , i have submitted this to our rental manager , prefer driving force thanks
