Smooth drop off

The truck was easy to find but the steering alignment was horrible on the truck. The U-Haul online app pick up and drop process was not efficient and wasted at least 30min of my day. I should have been able to do the preprocessing before driving to the location.

Michael KThe employee was 20 minutes late to work and rushed checking me in. He didn’t explain anything to me. When I returned the truck, he told me to drop off the key. I asked him to inspect the truck to acknowledge there was no damage (there wasn’t), but he said he couldn’t leave the store. I took a lot of pictures including that I returned the key. When I got my final bill emailed to me, I was charged over $100 for fuel. I only went 70 miles. I didn’t use that much gas. I plan to dispute the charges with American Express. The truck was very nice and very clean so that why I gave one extra star. Won’t recommend. Confusing experience and not professional at all.
STACIE EStaff should be informed on process to follow when dropping off equipment……simply to say “put it over there” is not appropriate to complete the transaction.

JAMES FCustomer service was terrible on top of the staff not speaking English and refusing to call their manager for assistance. I have already told family and friends to NEVER EVER rent from this location. The only thing that can be done to improve is train your staff on how to open the safe and give out the keys for the trucks on weekend days. Instead of just saying UHAUL CLOSED and watching videos on their phones! On the other hand customer service on the phone was very helpful, but the GAS STATION STAFF was ridiculously TERRIBLE.
Kandice COrdered moving blankets for our order and bubble wrap, showed up to get vehicle no blankets or bubble, had to drive to another location to get them. Dashboard was in Spanish and I could not figure out how to change it. Help us out here.
RUSSELL HSo my issue isn't with the location but the Uhaul scheduling. First I made an appointment with this location but they changed it to Glen Burnie. I then went in and changed it to the Severn location. I took an Uber there and when I got there, they changed it BACK to the Odenton location. The guy at the desk looked at my account and said that there was no communication sent to make this change. He was nice enough to call the Odenton location while I arranged for yet another rideshare.

MATTHEW RApp sucks. How to videos don’t show what the app is. There is no dashboard. There is a small next link that is easy too miss. App locks up in camera mode. Checking in and out was a pain in the a$$!

Kathy RMy location was switched several times, the vehicle wasnt clean, I was tild I would get additional mileage it didn't happen. I was also told the $30 fir insurance would refunded and it hasn't happened. This is the 2nd time using u-haul and I was very unhappy with the service this go round.
Contessa SThe truck had an oil leak which was probably cooking on the exhaust manifold/pipe. The whole time while driving the truck, it was not possible to be in the cab of the truck without breathing oil fumes. It was toxic. The only relief was leaving the windows open. Other than this one problem, everything else with the rental worked as expected.
James TJosh was great. He was so helpful and flexible as we had to adjust several times the pickup dates for the hitch.
mark wThe first van I was given has a tire pressure light on. There was a nail in the passenger rear tire. Agent gave me the keys and said it was good to go. I went in and advised of the issue. Was given a second van that said change oil maintenance required. I only need the van for a few hours and 100 miles so I did not say anything to the agent. Contract had wrong gas level on second van. Had to point out to agent to have corrected.

Anthony PFor those looking to extend their equipment reservation, provide a better way to check the availability of the equipment to extend on the website the extension is being requested from. I extended my equipment reservation by 24 hours and the website said that I couldn't extend it because another family was waiting to use the equipment. When I call customer service, they informed me no one was actually waiting to use the equipment and it was available to use for an additional 24 hours.

Robert WMy rental experience was one of the worse that I have experienced with U-haul. The customer service agent definitely need to work on service quality. It took me almost 30 minutes to pick up a trailer. When I returned it I ended up unhooking it myself to avoid the long wait.

jordan cIt was kind of unclear how to drop off the key. I was not sure of the collaboration with Exxon when I stood in line inside of the building. The rep did his best to explain the process. There should still be some written guidance in the window or from outside to inside on how to drop off the keys, where to park, and etc. I was wrongly charged for $20. I had date stamped proof of a picture with the gas meter on half tank and me placing the gas back at half tank during the return. I had to call customer service to get a refund. This should have never happened.

shamar mIts an exxon gas station I have passed almost everyday for 20 years. it was the closest to my house so thats why i used it as a drop off. its a nice station, clean, well lit, and lots of room and gas pumps to fillup so drop off was a breeze.

Wagner MNext time it would be nice to have someone help decouple the trailer instead of having to donut myself. It was a 6x12 trailer and very heavy for a 66 year old.

Valerie HI told the stablishment person I needed to drop off the rental I was told to just leave it he would check out in a bit since I was late to a meeting and it was almost 7pm (the time they close) I left the rental and took pictures of the location to make sure I was credited for the return. That occurred on Saturday at around 6:50pm.
