My reservation kept getting changed then they charged my card for an extra day even though I returned my equipment early the day of the rental by 6pm and the guy was still there and we literally went in and spoke with him and he assured us not to worry. He would check it in in the morning. I then called customer service this morning because I seen in the app that it hasn’t been checked in yet and she called the locations and talked to some guy named Josh who said he had been busy but would get it checked in. She me I wouldn’t be charged for another day yet I was charged anyway! Don’t rent from U haul they will steal your money

JERED CYour gas policy is not the best. I used vehicle for 7 miles, but was charged an extra $40.50 for fuel fee and 2 gallons of gas? Maybe the person who first gave me the keys told me to bring it back at the same amount, and maybe not. You should probably always keep vehicles full, and ask they be returned full. This vehicle was only at 1/4 of a tank when I got it?

Bianca TThe truck was dirty in the cab, the box and the outside. I had to wash all the windows and clean the truck before driving it down to California. When I picked up the truck it was on 0 miles to empty. I received a gas credit but 0 miles to empty, that is a little ridiculous that I had to have someone follow me to the nearest gas station to fill the truck up so I could start loading it. Just wasn't a good experience.

BUFFIE MThe key was nearly impossible to turn in the ignition- you had to jimmy the shifter just right. When I told the manger- he just said ‘yeah it’s been like that for a while- but it gets easier once you’ve done it a few times’ UNACCEPTABLE- and someone is going to end up stranded because they can’t figure it out. Or it will finally stop working- force your people to take care of things

JAMES SDon’t make the return time before 6:am, mine was set for 5:38am I was charged 20.00 for returning it at 12:30pm
KEVIN M1. ensure the vehicles are cleaned 2. ensure the vehicles have fuel (picked this up less than a quarter tank) 3. ensure the items ordered are provided (ordered 10 blankets, received 0) 4. ensure the billing/invoicing is accurate (mileage was charged at a higher rate than indicated when reserving the vehicle, total invoice for 4 hours, & 17 miles was >$20 higher than the reservation indicated it would be).
M EThe rental place was very helpful when we were trying to figure out the reservation and make it work. He went out of his way to make sure I got a 20’ truck on the morning I needed it.
