First of all don't try to charge them a thousand fucking dollars for drop off at wrong destination when infact I called your road side assistance to pick up the equipment which is what the uhaul staff member I talked to on the phone asked me to do. It was $250 or something to rent the equipment and my truck to use said equipment was totaled the night if rental. No he uhaul dolly wasn't attached but not having another vehicle that could pull the car dolly left me with one option which was calling customer service that asked me to call uhaul road side assistance and that peice of shit took the equipment to the wrong location for drop off. When I received the insaine bill for another almost $1000 for a piece of equipment I never even got to use I called in and explained to the lady everything that had happened. Also it snowed the night of rental and the local police department stated that the roads are treacherous and no one should be driving unless it's an emergency. It snowed again about 26 hours later and left around 15-16 inches of snow and ice everywhere. By the way when I first rented the dolly the ass hat at the uhaul on Wilkinson blvd. Charges me $300 for fuel despite me returning that truck with more fuel in it than it had to begin with. It took almost two extra hours to get this shit cleared up to even rent the dolly also. So got some bad news for you Uhaul. You lost a lifetime customer I've the entire affair. I won't be paying you shit but no attention. When I rented the truck and the turd tried to charge me $300 for fuel I complained and was sent a $50 coupon to apologize for the mistake and the fuel charges where taken off my bill also. Sure is a strange thing that the very same charge found its way back onto my uhaul bill. You should probably screen your employees a little better. Seems to be the problems are all to do with your hands on guys in your shops and road side assistance team needs to use their head for something besides a hat rack. You don't charge a customer a fucking $1000 extra when they made the extra effort to get your equipment back to you. See that sort of shit makes a guy like me want to go rent one use it and run it off into the lake then call roadside assistance and tell em good fucking luck. All kidding aside I will never use uhaul again for anything. Plenty of other options out there. Word to the not.so.wise maybe you should start putting satellite gps tracking on your equipment it would save you a shit ton and maybe you wouldn't have employees making your company liablise for breach of contract slander and several other issues that deal with debt collections under the CFPB. I HEAR THEY FINE companies heavily for corrupt.busineaa.and debt collection practices.p.s. go fuck your momma

DUVAN VI have rented from them for a few years now. I prefer this location. One time I picked the wrong location in the same city. I thought it was no big deal. It was. From that point on, I had to verify it was Old Hickory. They are the best in the Monroe, NC area hands down.

I had to drive to another location at 4AM The key lock box at the location was not visible or identified so I had to search around the property for it The vehicle blew a fuel pump fuse 1/2 way to our destination and I was 4hrs late due to these issues and was not able to complete the task I had driven for.

THOMAS BLeft side lights did not work and front tire had a bubble, which caused the tire to shred on the highway. Then had to wait 3 hours for service.
SHERRY RDashboard engine light was on upon pickup. Didn’t have another truck, so took it. Lost AC on way to destination. Also had no moving blankets per my request, so had to use my own.

George BNot all questions should be yes or no. There should be room to say maybe or something. First of all, we reserved a 10 foot truck the week before which was not available when we got there. The truck was clean, but in driving it, did not have any pick up at all and did not shift into other gears very quickly. All in all, we got the job done, but the reason we chose this location was location only.

WILLIAM RUsing the app was a nightmare. It was glitchy. There were zero signs indicating where the key box was for pickup. The app kept restarting and freezing. This is not the location's issue but a Uhaul issue. Please revise your app!
SHANNON PLocation: Staff were very friendly and helpful. Truck: Passenger side mirror would not stay in position. This made it very difficult to change lanes safely or keep an eye on the trailer. Both sun visor clips are broken; they are swinging freely which can be a bit distracting.
KEVIN KIt started off as a great customer service experience. A photo was taken of the odometer and gas upon leaving the establishment. Called the company immediately and told them the amount of fuel that was stated in the office was not correct. Upon returning the paperwork had a starting mileage of 19034 but it was actually 19084. Showed the owner the time stamped photo proof in comparison of when we received the paperwork from the office. Literal minutes apart and still was not believed that their was an error on their end. Explained there was no way the truck was driven 50 miles in less than a minute. Instead of resolving at the company I had to contact Uhaul for the resolution. If isn't resolved then I'll be submitting all documents to my financial institution. It's unfortunate a clear error on their end could not be resolved but I will be patient and wait on the reply from Uhaul. I will use Uhaul in the future but probably rent from another authorized dealer.
Felicia MSydney and Holly are the Best!!! Very informative, they know the equipment and have a great understanding for what size truck you need. They are not high pressure and do not try to upsell you like other truck rental places. This is my third rental in 4 weeks and I would highly recommend Old Hickory Buildings of Monroe for all of your truck, trailer and moving supply needs.
