The instructions for mobile app truck return are terrible. First, the instructions aren't clear that the return must be executed while the customer is still on site. Second, there is no return button on the normal web app and no instructions indicating it is only on the mobile version. Third, there is no way to execute the return after a customer leaves the site. Terrible addition to the rental process.Duane N.

Because of the exceptionally poor communication AND customer service provided by corporate U-Haul I will go out of my way in the future to avoid using your company if at all possible and I will strongly encourage my friends and family to do the same. This was an extremely poor and inconvenient experience.TRAVIS P.
The service of the people actually working in the building are very nice. It's the customer service representatives that have some opportunities in how they speak to your customers that have some opportunities. I would be understanding to all of this, if the people I talked with were kind. Instead they are rude, short and unaccomadating when delivering news that made my move way more stressful.Janet W.

When I went to drop off the trailer, I simply could not get the hitch to detach from the ball. It was a 2-person job due to the tension from the weight of the trailer. However, the location is not staffed. So, I had to call the fellow who helped me pick it up, and it took him about 15 minutes to get there. Then we got it unhitched immediately. That was inconvenient. But, the U-Haul representatives treated me very well, and the trailer was excellent.David H.

The guy told me he wasn't a licensed dealer and my cash deposit would have to be mailed to me. Its B.S. I gave cash they didn't have to waite yet since this guy doesn't deal in cash I get screwed an have to waite 2 weeks for a check in the mail. I will never use uhaul again and won't help anyone who does.Jason J.

Make sure truck is inspected. And cleaned cup holders and console was not wiped off. Hub caps for oil front tires were leaking oil, had to be serviced before we left town!Martha S.

We were provided a after hours pick up via the Owner of the storage company who informed us that he would leave the keys in the 20ft truck that we paid for in the front of thr store. Apon arriving, there was two trucks in front of the store. Of witch one was unlocked with the keys in the driver's side floor board as the owner had described. My wife and myself assumed that the unlock truck had to be ours and proceeded to check it for damage and take it to our house for our move. After the short 10 minute drive to the house I noticed that the gas tank was only half way full and I called to inform the owner of this and he instructed me to take a photo with my phone and send it to him. I thought ut was weird as he told me to bring the truck back on full as i was picking it up on full. I sent him the photo of the gas gage and started loading up the truck. After loading the truck up about 25% full, he calls me to tell me that we actually picked up the wrong truck and needed to bring it back to the store as another customer was waiting for the 26ft that we had accidentally picked up. I explained to him that there had been no accident with picking up the truck as it was the only truck parked up front with the keys on the floor board and the drivers side door unlocked. He was very adamant that we return the truck immediately as he had a nother customer waiting to pick it up. I felt very bad for the mistake and me and my wife started working very quickly to remove all of our possessions that took us a good hour and a half to put in out of the truck. Upon our completion of removing almost everything, we started on our way back down to the shop, thr owner calls us to say that he would bring us the 20ft truck that we rented. I explained to him that we just broke our backs to get this one back to him with the waiting customer and that we were already on our way back to him. He told us that he had rented another 26ft truck to the waiting customer and we only needed to come get our 20ft because the 26ft truck was for in town only. His attitude was very condensing and sharp with my wife and he seemed more interested in arguing with us instead of trying to make thr situation right. I was completely blown away that a man with his deposition could represent the brand name U-Haul in such a bad way. He asked how I would like to deal with the situation amd I explained that some sort of concessions or compensation would absolutely be warranted. He said he would be taking $60 off the bill of witch i haven't seen a dime.Kevin R.
