This was my first time using a U-Haul Neighborhood Dealer after many positive experiences with regular U-Haul locations. The overall service was unprofessional and disorganized. The cashier appeared unfamiliar with the rental process and repeatedly contacted the owner for guidance. I was asked to provide a second emergency contact by phone, even though this information was not required during the online registration process. During vehicle return, the employee initially refused to inspect the truck and complete the return while I was present. I was told to leave and that the inspection would be done later, despite my request to have the vehicle checked before I departed. I waited approximately 20 minutes for the inspection while no customers were waiting, and other tasks were being prioritized. The experience did not meet the service standards I have come to expect from U-Haul. I would encourage U-Haul to review the quality of service provided at this Neighborhood Dealer location.

I had not uploaded my drivers license and the clerk had to call someone else to provide instructions in between that I'm waiting until other people have been served to continue my service. There was a lot of back and forth. Not convenient at all! I had requested a dolly online, there was none! Which was a huge inconvenience! I was charged for it, plus insurance I had rejected.
