This was not the return location on my reservation. I returned the trailer to the location on my reservation and was charged extra money for not returning the trailer to this location. This is unsatisfactory.
ERIC SDay attendant at this location was very pleasant, most helpful and was very knowledgeable about the rental process. The evening attendant did not possess these traits.
Edward JThis location does NOT have anyone that can hook up a trailer for you. If you know how to do that then you will be okay. I am an older woman and was surprised that I had to do it by myself. Thankfully, two nice gentlemen in the parking lot helped me out and got me on my way!

Fortunately the app to return worked fairly well, but this site has poor phone / internet connectivity so the check process was very slow and tedious. would recommend based on location proximity

AARON CI was originally supposed to drop off my truck at Southern auction services in Haysville North Carolina and they were closed. I called the U-Haul helpline and ended up talking to four different people and never got any help. It was pretty much left up to me to figure out what to do. I went onto my app and edited the drop off location and picked a location nearby. The helpline was no help at all if they would’ve told me in the beginning to switch the location for drop off on my app. I would’ve done that but they did not. They told me they could not switch. The drop off. Location. I was very frustrated.

Joseph CThe U-Haul trailer had clips on the large S-hooks connecting it to the underside of the truck. My husband and I tried to unclip the S-hooks with no success. He is 81 and I am 75. We were both on the ground trying to unhook the trailer. When I asked the man inside if he had a pair of pliers he said I'll look in a minute but went on about his business doing something with the scratch off lottery tickets. Eventually another customer came in, went and got pliers off the rack, opened them up and said here, they (the store) can pay for them.

Jacob RIt is impossible for one person to get 6x12 trailer on hitch. Location offers no help. Had to enlist other gas station customers for help.
Michael BPeople very helpful and good to work with. Some of the drop-off / pickup area is unpaved/ no gravel. Potentially muddy after rain. No problem for me at the time of drop-off.
CHARLES CYour survey should ask about the equipment—The 6 x 12 cargo trailers should have jack stands for installing and uninstalling. They are too heavy to lift. Had to have staff install.
Judy COnly issue was difficulty uploading pictures of undocumented damage to truck. Had to call uhaul but was able to email pictures instead. Since it took so long to do this they gave us an extra day to return the truck.
Erwin BThe truck had damage that wasn't marked, the fuel wasn't accurate, the inside of the cab was filthy, the back of the truck was filthy as well. The windshield wipper was broken. Very dissapointed.

kimberly sI have rented from Uhaul many times and will continue to but this location or maybe just a combination of the location and the app not working correctly made this experience horrible. I tried to check in to pick up the trailer and the app didn’t do like normal, didn’t ask for pictures, etc. then went to hook it up and I had a 2inch ball on my hitch, always worked with all of my rentals with y’all until this one, this trailer needed the smallest ball made(I think) There was nothing to prepare me for this. The lady in the store was no help because she said they were merely a drop off and pick up point for y’all.. So I had to scurry around and try and find a smaller ball, using up over an hour of time that I had it rented. Finally got hooked up and went on to do what I needed with it. While unloading one load, I received a phone call from a uhaul rep asking if I was still planning on getting it for the 24 hours I had reserved it for….????? We got it straightened out and I finished using the trailer. When I went to return it, the return process was a nightmare as well… I took the pictures 5 times and finally saved them to my phone and sent y’all a message and just left. The app wouldn’t let me complete the return process. I’ve never had problems with the app before so hopefully, this will be the only time. If it were to happen again, it would deter me from renting from you again.

June F- Truck was not clean - dirt in the trailer, dried up hamburger remnants in the driver seat, and three cups/cans in the cab - Location did not provide Reserved equipment - Uhaul customer service no help at all finding an alternative; I did on my own at cost of 35 extra miles and 90 mins lost time Whether the Location’s fault or Uhaul — it is probably both — it was not a good experience. I wouldn’t recommend either to anybody, but in the absence of any other options, the only remaining option is poor customer service

WILBUR KI've already sent a complaint, but even though I booked everything online and made my son the authorized driver , they couldn't find our reservation and my son was told that I had to come down there to do the transaction. And if I cancelled and he started the reservation on his own, he'd have to do it online. They were not ready for us and made us 30 minutes late No apologies, made other clients who are there to pay for gas, etc while they asked me the questions that I had already completed online
