Moving can be scary for a single mom,but you guys are so flexible and helpful. Sheilak was by far the most helpful and professional front desk employee. With the pandemic we all have to be cautious,so I called and sadly didn't have a reservation but the 10 foot Uhaul I needed was available so I was helped and felt so happy.LUZ A.

U-haul was supposed to give me a key pad # to get the key. When the local vendor sent me a text message the link said error. When I returned the van, the local vendor said she sent me a receipt and I did not get it for several hours. She said if I do not get it to contact U-Haul and if I have any questions about the receipt to contact U-Haul. The local vendor kept sending me back to U-Haul. When I got my receipt I was charged $30.00 for a fuel fill up service. When I made my reservations no one mentioned the fuel fill up service fee and when I picked up the van the local vendor did not mention it either. I am requesting a refund of the $30.00 service fee and do not want to be in the middle of U-Haul and the local dealer.Roy G.

There were only 2 parking spots at this location and only 1 was open when I returned the van; it was too tight for parking a large van. I had to wait until the person left to park in the one space the van could fit in. Also the online check in process was inconvenient - much of it could have been done prior to arrival to avoid delays (I had a limited time situation) and/or at least inform the renter IN ADVANCE that they will need to provide passport info or 2 contacts who will be IMMEDIATELY available for a phone call from UHaul. A lot of my contacts were unavailable mid-day during the week to answer a call from U Haul- an unknown number to them, so it again delayed the check in process. Had I known this would be required, I could have had my passport info handy. On the bright side, the woman working the storage location was very helpful and pleasant.Karen H.

The staff at the pickup location, One Stop Storage, was *excellent.* Could not be more patient or more friendly. My only criticism concerns the U-haul app. I had originally tired to rent and pick up this truck using the app, rather than the staff at the pick-up location. My experience with the app was terrible. It demanded the name and phone number of a person to contact in the event the truck was returned late. That's fine. After someone called and spoke to this person, the app demanded the name and phone number of another person. This was overkill. U-haul already had my contact information, credit card number, drivers license (front and back), a photo of my face, confirmed location, and had spoken to a second person who confirmed that I'm renting the truck. Why do I have to bother a third person, who isn't even involved with this transaction? One of your representatives called me and claimed to be unable to waive this requirement without speaking to a manager. I ended up cancelling the reservation with the app because the very helpful staff at One Stop Storage volunteered to rent me the truck through their system instead. The U-Haul app was an example of technology making things much harder than it needs to be. I recommend just having One Stop Storage help you. I'd also consider renting a storage unit there as the place looks clean and well run.Carlton M.

you can not overcharge your customers for your faulty app I was charged $4,000 because your application claims I drove 4000 miles in a day and a half. Your supervisor said that I need to provide proof that I didn't drive 4000 miles they refused to refund the money. Completely unacceptable your app is supposed to have the photos I took regardless of whether I agreed to the mileage that was on the app I had no choice or it wouldn't rent the truck.Philip G.

Make pick up hours earlier... they open at 915, ridiculous. I've rented uhaul at least 3 times but I had to start the process as if I was first timer and go through all the steps. They couldn't take my payment over the phone I had to go in. Gas for just over 1/8th of a tank was $47... $6 per gallon...seriously?Martin W.

Location for pickup was not the issue. I had reservations for Saturday morning. From Friday Morning until Saturday afternoon I was told to go to 4 different locations. Each time I called to confirm there was a truck for me at the new location, the salesperson at that pickup point didn't know anything about my coming there, nor did they have a truck for me. Finally at 4 pm Saturday I was sent to yet a 4rh location, when even tho they had no knowledge I was sent to them, they happened to have a truck for me. I was given partial credit for my headache, but stress of the possibility not getting a truck was ridiculous. Shiela Keifer at Storage experts came thru and she was very efficient getting me out of there with a truck. I can't say I got the same customer service from any of the other locations. I'm not sure why I got jerked around so much when I had reserved and paid for the truck ahead of time.Karla L.
Improve customer service. The problem started when my U-haul reservation failed to give me a pin # to retrieve my key for express check out. I tried logging in to my account to get the number, tried calling Uhaul directly but the only way the problem could be resolved was by an on-site employee. This business is a storage facility and it was a busy Saturday morning with ONE person working. It took us nearly an hour to get the reservation straightened out, get the pin number and get the truck. Nightmare.PAGE S.
I was lucky to get a same day, one way rental. Salvador was extremely helpful at this location. The truck bed wasn't completely clean, and had pet hair. Quick work of sweeping was required before we loaded. After several phone calls and transfers I was still not able to get any idea of when the truck serviced last. It seems Uhaul, relies on customer participation to know when service may be required? Service information, I thought should be readily available to the customer, imo.Lorraine S.
