CHERYL FI have a non-profit, Project PROM the Bella Zoë experience. Every year we rent a U-Haul to pickup all clothes, accessories and displays to giveaway free clothes to those who want help in costs associated with their Junior/Senior proms. Each year our transaction from picking up and returning remaining clothes back to storage has been seamless. Nancy McDougal at U-Haul has made the whole process go by smoothly and efficiently. It is always a joy to see Nancy who is so personable, friendly and is on top of her game of making a transaction flow with such ease. Thank you Nancy McDougal, for providing such top notch service!
Susan DI had a great experience initially with the woman who completed my reservation. When I came to pick up the vehicle the man working was dismissive and really just not helpful at all. I rented an appliance dolly, they didn't have it. He gave me a vehicle that was double parked with vehicles behind it. I asked if he was going to pull it out for me so I don't have to reverse with no help and no camera. He said simply "nope". I go to start the vehicle and it will not start. He takes the keys and tries to start it. He pumps the gas (these are fuel injected) and eventually it starts. I asked him what I do if it breaks down or will not start since they close at noon. He said in a snarky voice "do you want another vehicle"? I said " it would be nice". He grabs another key, holds it in the air and drops it in my hand with no other words. I have rented from this place several times and I have never been treated the was I was on Saturday. I will not go back to this Uhaul site in the future. I truly believe I was dismissed and treated very poorly by the man working on this day.

AREASEAL SI dropped off the truck and trailer after hours. It was a simple process. There was plenty of space for me to pull in and park, which I appreciated because I had a 20’ truck and auto transport to maneuver.

MICHAEL TThe location that I “reserved” the truck from was changed to a farther location that added 1.5 hours to my travel time in dangerous weather conditions. If the company can’t honor “reservations” locations, they should change it to a request and not a reservation. This lack of professionalism created excessive travel in dangerous conditions for all involved in the move.

NICOLAS ODon't recommend as didn't assist at all with disconnecting car hauler and backing it into an open slot and failed to notify the adjoining UHaul that we'd dropped the hauler off on Sunday.

ROGER TWe have rented an U-haul three times. Each time we have rented from a different location in Salinas. This location was recommended to us from a friend. We did find the person at this location to be the most accommodating. We will use this location again.
JANET SThe woman that rented me the vehicle, Nancy I think, was outstanding. I picked up the vehicle with 161,717 and returned the vehicle with 161,734 driven 17 miles over 2 days.. I was told that I could add 2 gallons or pay a $20 fuel charge just a random guess at best. In addition the fellow that checked me in accused me of crashing into another vehicle on the lot. I denied the charge and explained that the brakes were very mushy, not well maintained, and that I'm not sure what he had heard, as I hit nothing. Not great service.
