I saw all the bad reviews and thought, what the heck—it can't be that bad. I chose this location because I had items stored at the Public Storage next door. How convenient, right? I reserved a 15-foot truck, a utility dolly, and a furniture dolly for 8:00 a.m. pickup (after hours) 3 weeks in advacne. The night before, I got a call saying the truck wouldn't be ready and that I needed to come back when they opened at 9:30 or go to another location. I explained that I chose this location specifically to save miles getting to my storage unit. She called me back and said, "By some miracle, we'll have your truck ready." I didn't realize miracles were required to fulfill reservations made three weeks in advance. When I picked up the truck, the furniture dolly was missing. We decided to keep going and figured I'd call when they opened. Three unanswered phone calls later, we had no choice but to continue without it. When I returned the truck, I tried to get a refund for the missing furniture dolly. The sign on the door said, "Be back soon." We waited an hour, and no one ever came back. Thankfully, U-Haul said they would have someone call me about my refund within three days (another miracle needed I suppose). If you're reading this, just go to the actual U-Haul location in Lakewood. These guys seem interested in doing the bare minimum while collecting whatever kickback U-Haul gives them.

JASMIN MThe truck was very old and had over 147,000 miles and yet the per mile fee was the same as it would have been for a new vehicle. It was loud and drove/road very rough.
Philip TI returned it clean, he charged me, I called him, he said he would remove the charge. he hasn't removed the charge. I asked him for my receipt at the time of my return and he said he will email me and then charged me $25 for a cleaning fee which was wrong! This location is a total scam!
