The rating that I have given to the Florissant location is not at all indicative of the initial encounter I had with U-Haul for my pickup. The Florissant location did an excellent job of fixing a problem that never should have happened. I was originally scheduled to pick up the 5 X 8 covered trailer in Elisabeth Colorado at 0900. This location is 45 minutes North of my house. I arrived at 08:45 and was informed that the trailer I was supposed to pick up had not been dropped off by the previous customer and was currently 19 hours late. After numerous phone calls I was told that the only trailer I could get was in Florissant Colorado. This location is an hour and 10 minutes South of my house (an hour and 55 minutes from Elisabeth). Picking up the trailer took 5 and a half hours out of my day. Your company has a serious communication problem. Your notification process in cases where the trailer to be picked up has not been returned by the previous customer does not exist. The $50 credit for the trailer was appreciated but didn’t even pay for my gas on the day of pick up much less my time. Would I recommend using U-Haul at an of my friends? NO!

Ryan SFix your website at corporate U-Haul! The location I wanted had the vehicle I wanted, however corporate U-Haul wanted me to drive an extra six hours for no reason. No joke. The corporate U-Haul website switched my reservation THREE times, so I finally called the one locally and they set it up manually. This happened to me in October too.

john hI wouldn’t recommend U-Haul at all. I was charged twice for what I was told would be 1 charge. I was told rental goes in 24 hour increments and had to bring the U-Haul back the next day because they closed at 2pm. I returned the U-Haul before the 24 hour period and was charged for 2 days.

Marlena MI have rented a bunch of different trucks ranging from 20ft to 10ft and all of them were very well maintained. Main reason I mention this is because I have gone through a few different places in the Springs and Woodland Park which gave me nothing but problems. Bruce is an absolute pleasure to work with, he has always been very respectful regardless if his day is not going well. Needless to say I will only rent a truck from them even if it costs more due to the fact that I feel safe. I highly recommend them and I only do reviews if it's a 5 star, I have only done one review which was a 1 star and that's only because I couldn't give a zero star. I hope this helps anyone needing a rental. Shane
