Hi….im not moving any self storage. I went to the local store to rent a simple U-haul to move my bed. The guy there does know enough about it and did it wrong. So , kingly decline it and send me back my money coz and pending was made from my account about it. Thanks

Customer Service was great. We were able to pick up our truck about an hour early. We were given very clear directions on how to return the truck with visuals if we needed it past closing. All costs were laid out up front. Very great over all.

Make sure that the rental truck you rent out to the customer has all the required equipment on the truck. The truck I was given to use for my move didn't have a ramp on it. I was under the impression that all U-Haul rental trucks were equipped with a pull out metal ramp to be able to use instead of having to hoist yourself up that large gap onto the step of the truck and inside the cargo area in order to load everything inside the back. It was inconvenient and my body (especially my hips and knees) is extremely unhappy right now due to the number of times I had to repeatedly put extra weight and pressure on my hips and knees to get myself up into the back of the truck with my belongings.

Don't rent out a U-Haul truck that is not well maintained. The ride was so rough I thought the truck was going to break down and that I was going to throw up.

Owatonna location is great no complaints waseca location that dude is rude so rude I went to pick up a trailer he opened my door to my vehicle reached in turned my headlights on insulted me and then shut my door hard. I even canceled my appointment to have a dash camera installed with audiotronics in waseca because that guy. Owatonna great job. Waseca needs new manager!

Was not able to self-return the equipment. Was told that we couldn’t self-return (after we tried and the trailer slid down an incline) since the location was so busy upon our return. Then the person told us that we shouldn’t have tried. However the instructions at the location should have been made more clear BEFORE the attempted self-return and the U-Haul app should NOT have suggested we do a self-return. Very frustrating and embarrassing. Will not rent from this location again.

The truck was in good condition visually. However, the exhaust needs major work. It was extremely loud. I have used many U-Haul trucks before and that one is not doing well.

You have overstated the fact that it rides like a car , but works like a truck. It does work like a truck, but the ride is terrible. A lumber wagon is smoother. And fuel economy is not there. The 26' er had a Triton V-10. The weekend cost us $1400.00 for truck and mileage, fuel. I think that is high.

This review is not for the Owatonna location, but for the Northfield location. I was guaranteed a 26' truck, but when we got there (after 75 minute drive) I was unable to get the truck. Not sure what you think guarantee means, but I do know. Wasted 2 hours of 3 peoples lives for nothing. Got a 20' from Owatonna. Didn't adjust the price.........Even when I asked. We could have had everything done in an hour, but nope it took 3 hours. I will never use Uhaul again.

Everything went very well. The agent at the office there was very nice, and processed my reservation quickly and without any problems. Drop off was a little confusing because I went on line to return the truck, and at the end of the process, it asked me to pay but I had already paid for the truck and storage reservations when I went into the office to pick up the truck. If my payment information should of been made mention of in the on line app., It would of made it less confusing. Otherwise things were good and I really appreciate Jodi's positive & likeable customer service assistance.

In the winter, there is no snow removal so when you drive up to the location, you don't know where the driveway is and might just turn into the curb. Also last September there was a breakin and my unit was broken into. Almost all my stuff was stolen. With all the cameras inside and out, with a security entry pad, the thieves got in. Finally when I moved out, KO refused to return my deposit saying they had no record of my deposit but that's because when I first rented the unit this rental place was owned by a different company and KO purchased the business last year. So all customers who rented from the previous owner will not get back their deposit. NO I will not recommend this location or KO storage.

This was the nicest facility I have dealt with! The phone was always answered when I called, the people were super nice and helpful, the lot was always plowed and accessible in winter and they were willing to remove ice built up in front of my door if I needed to get into my unit. The keypad and security gate were always in working order. I had my items stored there for 3 years and I always felt safe due to all the safety measures in place as well as they were on-site a lot. Best experience I’ve had with a storage facility.
