Terrible customer service. I purchased additional supplies in addition to the truck rental however the store refused to give me the supplies. When I tried to show him my receipt, he wouldn't even look at it and told me to call customer service. :-/

JAMES MVan was really dirty inside and out. Melted candy, spilled sticky stuff, windows so dirty could not see out of them.
KIMBERLEY MI was five days late returning my U-Haul. I tried calling on the 3rd day and was on hold for over an hour, and never got through to someone to let them know I needed the U-Haul longer. On the fifth day I was arrested on two felony charges for vehicle theft and receiving a stolen vehicle. The charges have stuck though the arraignment. This is complete BS. I will never give U-Haul another cent of my money and neither should you. Shame on them
IAN SI got stuck in a horrible storm and the windshield wipers did not work at all .The windows were so dirty there was a film over them and it made for a hard time seeing out the window to drive. Just horrible
Lorraine TTruck was filthy. Inside and out. Mud caked on everything and super dusty. Seemed like it just got back from Burning Man. Gas was barely 7/8 full and it’s hard to guess how to refill to just 7/8 of a tank upon return. Attendant said they don’t work for Uhaul and it’s pretty much just self service.

MICHIKO IIt’s a gas station on a busy corner with some spots to park in the back. Parking is tight but doable. An alley is at the back, like many San Diego areas. Would not want to go there at night.

RICHARD LRaul and friends displayed excellent costumer service. They were very polite, helped me with my reservation and even worked with me on a mistake I made on the online reservation tool. It was on last day of the month, with a high amount of reservations and I still got the truck I needed. The truck was clean and worked great. Great job, I would totally recommend this place to any of my friends and family.

Matthew BThis is not a location issue, but U-Haul switched my pick up location and the only notice was an email no text or call though they were supposed to call the night before. The location for pick up was good and the employees were helpful. There was only 1/8 of a tank of gas in the vehicle, but the employee just said to take a picture of the gas tank and return it with the same amount of gas. We appreciated the information.

WILLIAM MThe attendant was friendly and polite; however, he failed to inform me about the additional charges I would incur for returning the U-Haul past my scheduled time. He gave the impression that returning it after hours wouldn’t be an issue, but did not mention that doing so would result in being charged for a full second day—effectively doubling my cost. Clearer communication would have helped me avoid this unexpected fee.

YOSI AI was extremely dissatisfied. I reserved a van. There was no van at this location when I came to pick it up. He offered me a 10 foot cargo truck, but he wouldn't give it to me for the same price as the van. This cost me 50 cents more per mile. On top of that, I was taking an old couch to the San Diego Miramar Landfill. The landfill charges $69 dollars for a load in a van, but they charge $141 for a load in a Uhaul cargo truck. So I had to pay $18 more for mileage and $72 more in landfill trees because my reserved Van was not available. I should get a refund. My contract number was 79387523.
MATHEW RSinclair's is Top Notch! My initial call was with Sam he was amazing he helped me in every aspect and referred me to Nick for the morning pick up. Nick's customer service was hands down awesome! And then for the return Raul was patient and kind. I recommend PB Sinclair's for all your moving needs! 🙏🫵👍

BRADFORD LProbably will not rent from U-haul for a long time, if ever again. The only redeeming quality was the man who assisted with our drop off and although the communication was still rough from u-haul, he found our truck reservation and accommodated us dropping it their for the day which was very considerate.

Shannon SRude attendant came out and yelled at me. I was in a parking spot but I guess it had a baracade (no sign) and he told me those spaces were not to be used. Even though one was handicapped. If you don't want people to park then you need to make it known either by getting rid of parking lines on pavement or finding better way of communicating or blocking area off. I did like that I was able to get gas there before returning.

ROY AInterior needs a bit more cleaning. Every UHaul rental should have a clean interior and exterior windshield at a minimum. Latest rental - interior windshield was dangerously dirty. PB does the bare minimum with every step of rental.

JAMES AEnsure the vehicles are maintained before you allow someone to make a reservation. Have a back up plan for maintenance issues. There was stains and trash in the truck, it wasn’t clean.

SHERIDAN DI picked up the truck at the Sinclair gas station in Pacific Beach. and they said I had a full tank of gas But when I I got home I noticed it was only 3/8 of the tank… I immediately called and they gave me a U-Haul number to call and the lady Was very understanding and noted it on the rentals agreement and when I got to San Jose, the gentleman was very cordial and professional, and didn’t charge me… Point of the story is you need to get that Sinclair stations Shit together.!! Thank you, John
