He also started complaining about other U-haul locations and saying all sort of things, very unprofessional!

TYSHEMIA Lyeah, so that was probably the worst experience i've ever had with any business ever. You need to re-make your app. Only being able to check in at the location creates an awful experience, your customer service is actively hurting your brand, needing to repeat the check in process every time the app timed out was awful, in general i'm praying for U-haul to go under.

elliot iThe equipment i requested was not in the Uhaul upon my arrival an they didn't have any equipment to offer me bringing it to their attention. The storage space was dirty as well as having trash in it. The transfer of keys and finding the Uhaul itself was easy.

We lost like one hour looking for the address, nobody mention that the number of the unit was on the top of the truck we were looking as the plate number. More instructions must be provided from the personal to the customer to make easier the process Other than that you are a great option
ROBERTO CThe customer service was great. When we finally were able to park the car for this particular location, we ran into one of the attendant's outside. He asked us if the U-Haul had any issues. The only reason I wouldn't recommend this location to a friend is because it was very difficult to find a parking spot in the city. I would recommend the corporate location in Prospect Park.

FRANCES MHave the vans/trucks closer to the keys/lockbox location. Also reverse the order for the process of retrieving keys and locating vehicles. During after hours when the customer service office/garage location is closed, the current process makes you locate the vehicle first then retrieve the keys and then back to the vehicle, which if you don't have a car to do all this, the back and forth walk between the vehicle and keys is 5min each way, making it a hassle, especially if it's your first time.
Elvin TThe Uhaul truck was filthy and had a bog bag of trash in the back. Also I was charged an after hours service fee when I did not return the truck after hours. The facility closed early and I called and returned the truck before 5PM.

Marlon FLocation opened almost an hour late but the person was friendly, speedy, and communicated effectively both during checkout and return. No dollies or other additional items were available to rent which was a negative. Also, Parking in the area is not readily available.

Giancarlos CPick up location didn't caution about not driving on parkways. Got pulled over and ticketed. All due to poor common sense and negligence of the employee who never let me know once, even didnt let me uhaul is considered commercial vehicle. Assuming that a customer daily drives commercial vehicles is a lack of effort in raising awareness for customers. HATED PICK UP EMPLOYEE, doesn't deserve to serve customers, especially who are first timers wanting to save some money by doing the moving themselves.

Chandler PWe were scheduled to pick up the UHAUL at 9AM but the guy opening the store didn’t show up until 10 AM and we didn’t get our uhaul until 10:45. It also took a long time to find where the uhaul was because there scattered along the street parking and the customers are expected to just go find it. This also took up a lot of time and I don’t think this should be the case when you are paying for something, especially when it needs to be back before a certain time.
ALEXANDRA EI rented from these locations 4 times in the past 2 months, why fixing something that is not broken, the employee, conducts himself with courtesy, and respect. Knowledgeable about his job. And always tried to help customers. I don't rent from other locations, keep up the good work

RODRIGO MI had mobile check in, but I walked in to the location and the man at the counter was very nice and helpful and checked me in himself. Made the checkin easier for me as he walked me through everything.

The employee displayed good habits toward the customers, i.e., courtesy, knowledge of his job, respect toward customers, and willingness to help the new customers in any way possible. Keep up the good work.

SHI YIt was extremely difficult to find parking to return the truck. The emailed instructions to return the truck were somewhat helpful but could be improved with map screenshots. The suggested locations to park the truck are too far from the Dropbox to return the keys. It took about 45 minutes to complete the return and I would not use this location again.

Walter pIt was no issue with the pick up location or employee working there, he was very helpful. The problem is with the structure/organization of rental vehicles. My reservation was changed 12 hours before I was due to pick up the vehicle, to a different pickup location, very far from the original, and to a different vehicle than we had rented. No explanation was given and the employee at the location was very apologetic because it was not his fault, rather the fault of patrons who were late in their drop-offs. There should be a system in place that prevents late customers from affecting the itineraries of future customers. The customer service numbers were completely unhelpful. I called at least 5 times, 3 of which were ended prematurely when the employee hung up on me. This is unacceptable and employees really need training on how to properly deal with customers and stressful situations.

Lin KThe staff was very helpful, and was doing their best. However, the location really needs a parking lot for the trucks. All trucks are disparately place in a 8-ish block radius around the office. Myself and two other customers being helped at the same time had to go on multiple expeditions to find a truck, return to the office, and go on another expedition. All of this back and forth cost me an extra 45 minutes - the process of checking in and picking up a truck should have only taken 15 minutes, but took about an hour. The second contributing factor to the less than great experience is the UHaul app. Please write an actual app, and not a website pretending to be one. The usability of the app is pretty bad - the user interface is awkward to use, and doesn't follow normal expectations of how apps work on phones. For example, I wanted to go back a step because the app got stuck on adding an additional contact. Hitting a back button actually backed out of the entire pick-up process, with no "are you sure", nor any visual indicator that the button would have that destructive of an experience. In the end, I had to work with the person on-site to get my truck. Finally, the back end systems that power the mobile app and your in-person staff are extremely slow. Every step I took in the app would take approx. 30-60 seconds. Once I started working with the on-site staff, they had the same issues in their system. My rental was on June 1st - a Saturday, and quite likely a high traffic day for you, which is probably the reason for some of the slow down. However, this is your bread and butter, and being prepared for high-traffic days should be a requirement. Moving days can be highly stressful, UHaul should not be contributing to that stress.

In and out in less than 5 minutes. Do not change the way you do your daily operation, keep up the work . Thank you for the services
FRANKLYN fMy issues are related to the software experience. The app suggested I locate my truck before getting keys. The truck was not visible from the suggested location. The keys came with a note about the truck's true location. I struggled to find the truck, the chat line was not helpful and only suggested I find someone to talk to at the location, which was not open at the time I got to the truck location.

CESAR GBad experience, extremely disappointed. There was no available parking in the area indicated by the message sent by the staff. Clearly street parking is used by this company to the detriment of homes and businesses in the area, where it is especially difficult to find parking. I don’t know how a business could be allowed to operate by this but I will never use this one again.
