I had picked a drop off location that was closest to where i was ending up and at the pick location they tried to get me to change it to one closer to where I lived, which I didn't want. An unnecessary argument ensued which took time. They finally hand wrote the address I had arranged on the paperwork.Graham A.

No uhaul close to my home 07876 has a 10' truck. Closest location was 13 miles away in Masison nj. I got charges an extra $12 in mileage because uhaul vehicle location. Suggest charging by location billing address is vehicle is nit available within 5 miles.MICHAEL C.

When I reserved this truck I was quoted $.99 per mile. I had to alter my reservation and was never told that Friday counted as a weekend and therefore the mileage rate was now $1.99. I picked up around 9am and returned around 5pm. When I dropped vehicle I asked the rep if I picked up the truck yesterday afternoon and returned it 24 hours later what would the rate be. He said it would have been $.99. So, I was charged and extra $200 because I could do everything in one day. On another note, the tank was between 3/4 and full when I picked it up. How was I to judge the extra 1/8 of a tank when refilling. I filled the tank which probably cost me an extra $20. I have always rented from u-haul and this location. I find it criminal that I was charged more because I didn't pick up on Thursday and more important I was never told of this change until I was at the counter with no choice but to accept. I will be calling Pack Ship and More to have the rate reduced to $.99 per mile.Andrew P.

Truck I used was in towing gear mode all the time. It was loud clunky and got awful gas mileage. Once I pushed the button, the transmission went back to regular rather than low-gear mode.STEVEN B.

I had to walk across a parking lot and behind a shopping center to get the truck. The team at this location could have been more accommodating, at the last Uhaul pick up place we had the truck pulled up and started for us and it was no where near as far as this place has their vehicles. We called to extend the rental and the agent said no because someone " MIGHT " be waiting on the vehicle. The location was also not easy to find the GPS has the location further down the road and the store has minimal signage & uhaul exposure to help someone from the road to find their location. I would have the google listing updated and addressed to fix this so the next person does not have as difficult a time finding the location as we did. One of the employees inside was trying their best to help another patron and they were really trying so I don't believe there is a lack of effort or care just an opportunity to better divide & boost customer service time as there were two other employees there. The Trucks are way to far away for patrons to have to go and get them.Jack M.

I had set up my reservation for no contact due to COVID. When I arrived, my reservation was no longer listed on my account through my app. I had to give my license to the Uhaul representative who was not wearing a mask. Besides that issue, my experience was good as expected.JONATHAN H.

The Team at the Pack Ship N More U-Haul location at 300 Main St in Madison is the definition of a premium customer experience. I'll only go to them after working with every U-Haul retailer in the area from Florham Park to Summit. Their storefront is always clean and happy with great music, they are knowledgeable and welcoming, and the U-Haul trucks are always clean and dependable. 10/10 team and service. Couldn't move all my large furniture projects around without them. I'll be a customer for the long term.PAUL T.

The man at the counter was not well versed with the truck specs. When I asked him the height clearance he said it was 8 ft when it was 11 ft. Not a big deal but it shows that he had t had any training .MARCO V.

Initially reserved 4 dozen furniture pads, but the location only had 1 dozen. Although 1 dozen was actually the correct amount that I needed, the location should have had enough to fulfill the reservation or notified the customer that there weren't enough - there would not have been enough furniture pads for other customers if they had requested them.
