The front end of the truck requires a lot of maintenance. Shakes terribly at highway speed. At any speed the front left corner rattles from any bump. Like the anti-sway bar link is broken or a bad ball joint. You need to take better care of your vehicles or not charge so much by the mile. I would hope you would refund some of my money. Costs a lot to drive a piece of junk! BTW - the key to the rear gate padlock is bent and doesn't work. Overall you get a 5 out of 10.

Stood in line for 10 minutes while the person at the desk was on the phone and another worker came and asked the people that were waiting in line behind me if he could help so I had to wait even longer didn't feel that was fair.

The process to rent seems to me to be too long; too many questions, rental form not always clear of what info is needed. When I tried to return the vehicle on my phone, couldn't figure it out. Probably just me. Other than that, the experience went very well. Thank you.

I can't say anything about location but uhaul service has been unacceptable. Mobile check in failed and i was charged for 400 miles and overcharged almost $400 and still have not received an resolution

The electronic picking up of the van was troublesome. Thank goodness Rachel was at the 844 number as she needed to help us for over 1/2 hour. Wendy was very nice also when we dropped off the truck. I would use Uhaul again but would probably rent from a location with a "live person" in attendance.

This was the only facility in Portland to have what I needed: a simple 5x8 cargo trailer. And the price was perfect. Service was fast and problem free. Return at night was a little rough since ther was no decent lighting in back of the building, but it worked out fine. Loved the after hours return web site!

Sell locks that fit trucks. Service was great, equipment was below average (no supplies), but the truck was fine/average/expected/no complaint.

Truck was in poor condition site told be 100 dollars for 2 days and ended up being 2 hundred I only drove 30 miles. So thankfully I dont plan on moving again. Pods is the way to go.

They will switch the size of your rental, the location of pick-up and drop-off and the time of day for pick-up and claim they texted you the information. And their customer service is TERRIBLE. The employees at this location told me how terrible U-Haul is and they hate that "this happens all the time". Manager "Tom" was so rude and hung up on me! DON'T USE U-HAUL! Penske is cheaper and super new trucks!!

I would not blame the location totally, UHUAL needs to make this process better! I used the online process and it was not very smooth. Also, I was charged for a dolly and moving blankets and the truck did not have any of these. I called and they said they would make note in my account and I should not accept the charges when returning the truck via my phone. Someone would call me to discuss and the charges would be fixed. The charges should not have been put on my card but they were! I never received the call and was fully charged. I was actually charged more then the quote so I had to call again and the charges will take 3-5 business days to be refunded. Every time I called I waited so long that I hung up. I did this 5 times until I waited long enough for someone to answer. Use UHUAL if you want to save money and you have friends to help but be prepared for it to not go smoothly and cause you more stress!

The people were very nice there. But they didnt have the right trailer for me. So i took another huge one. It road terrible. Swaying back and forth and sounded like it was going to jump off the ball on bumps. It was really bad. The place was closed when i returned the trailer so I have not gotten my money back from the deposit. I had to take it off myself and the trailer was not properly equipt. It didn't have winding jackstand on it at all. I had to use a cinderblock and a board i found in the woods to get it off. Horrible I have photos. But i dont feel i should pay for this debockle. And maybe uHaul should pay me for the 3 hours i tried to get it off.

Already reviewed the asinine web drop off procedure. It sucked. I will insist on a paper contract next time. Nothing to do with the location, they were fine. The failure is at UHaul corporate.

The truck was fine, and picking it up using UHauls online service went fine. When I tried to return the truck, after the location had closed, I was unable to complete the return process because the UHaul website kept getting stuck on the same step (uploading photos of the cab/back). I tried three separate times, and it just wouldn't go any further. I tried calling UHaul. After being left on hold for 45 minutes, I finally gave up and just left the keys in the lockbox. It was a frustrating end to an otherwise smooth moving process, and they accepted the return anyway so I don't understand the purpose of the whole online return process if I could've just left the keys the whole time.

The process was easy, quick and the price they quoted was actually the price we paid which is different from my dealings with rentals in the past. The vehicle we wanted was available. The agent we dealt with was very professional and friendly. Overall an excellent experience and I would not hesitate to rent again from UHaul at this location in the future.

My reservation was the worst experience. I had to drive 15 miles to another location to pick-up and return the truck, since the original reservation wasn't set up correctly. This increased my fuel and mileage costs. The dolly I paid for was not included. I'm very dissatisfied with how this was handled. I requested at time of check-out that my charges be reviewed/discounted for the issues I had. However no one has contacted me and my card was charged with all charges.

My suggestion: when uhaul makes a reservation for you at one of their 3rd party locations, call to confirm they have an available truck after! The 15 foot truck I had reserved wasn't there. Uhaul had overbooked them. They helped me get a 20 foot truck though, so Thank You, Paper Party Store!

I thought this app would save me time, instead I felt like an unpaid Uhaul employee. The amount of time it takes to document the cleanliness of the vehicle, take pictures of your license and wait until someone in the cloud mysteriously "approves it" are unacceptable. What if my phone died? Also, the number of required photos is too many and sometimes conditions do not allow a decent photo (eg. sun glare or inclimate weather). I can only imagine using this app in the winter here. There is no way I would recommend this and I will not be using it again.

The location I was supposed to drop off after driving 350 miles was closed because they were paving the driveway. Luckily the agent Sarah at Paper Party House in Maine was incredibly nice took it anyway.
