I rented a van. The van had not been sweep out after the last rental. there was trash in the side panel walls. I feel the seats and the cab had not been wiped down due to prevent covid spreading. There was a location closed to where we needed to use the van but the Montgomery, WV location is not allowed to have vans for pickup truck rental. Could these rentals be brought into this location as needed?

The company itself needs to have locks instead of latches on the trucks. Someone got into the truck the night before I moved and stole some of my items.

STAFF WERE NOT FRIENDLY AND THE VAN HAD A SENSOR LIGHT ON FOR THE TIRES AND THEY DID NOTHING TO CHANGE IT OR REPLACE WITH A DIFFERENT VEHICLE. ALSO THE BRAKES WERE PROBLEMATIC SO I REPORT ON RETURN BUT AGAIN THE STAFF JUST DISCOUNTED I CONCERNS - I HOPE IF THIS VEHICLE IS RENTED AGAIN SOON THESE ISSUES ARE CORRECTED SO NO ONE IS HARMED!!!!!!!!

My moving time was very tight and I expected that my last-minute effort to rent a larger moving truck wishful thinking. I was delighted to not only get the larger truck, but it looked brand new. The service at this sight was great as well; fast and no lines.

The gas was recorded on our paperwork as being 3/4 full. In reality it was only 1/4 full. We took pictures of the gas gauge and mileage and when we returned the truck in Reedy they didn't charge us extra.

Check in is super fast and easy and employees are friendly and very helpful. Area is pretty safe if you need to leave your own vehicle. Everything you could ask for in a rental place. Rented this same van last month - required oil change both times I've rented - has it been changed? Still need washer fluid and tire pressures were low on all the tires (change in weather could have caused that though). Overall they had cleaned the van and it drove like a dream.

Cargo area was a little dirty when I received the vehicle but that was to be expected; it is a rental cargo van. Area where store was located was a little scary for a first time renter - entrance was sort of hard to find and office looked to be an old kitchen store room? I'll be better prepared next rental! Customer service was very pleasant and they didn't hover over you, just gave you the keys and let you go on your way.

We were quoted $750 Plus tax and was charged over 900 because we were quoted wrong. That's not our fault and I will never recommend or use uhaul again.

We seemed to inconvenience them. They were working the UPS counter and we were just a problem. The also never inspected my hitch and towing hook up.

First off the UPS Store worker was rude at the counter when we were picking up the truck. Secondly when the truck was returned, there was more fuel than when we received, we brought back 2 hours early and used less mileage than anticipated and then was charged a $10 fee for cleaning!!! Will not recommend Uhaul to anyone.

Althoug h I reserved the vehicle for 5 days, I returned the vehicle a day early and was told I'd get no credit for that, and would be charged extra mileagefor a trip of around 200 miles, a .ridiculously low allowance. The fuel was a little lower than when picked up, so when I asked to take it out to gas it, the clerk refused to let me do that until a supervisor overruled her. The young white female clerk was surly, became angry, and should not be dealing with the public.

I called to get a price for a van to go to Morgantown, WV and return. The guy told me $168.00 with 350 miles. However, a lady charged me $89.00 a Day with 100 miles. Due to bad weather I had to keep the van an extra day. I was charged $89.00 a day and $0.29 X 99 miles which totaled $349,62 after all taxes and fees. Not at all what I expected given my telephone conversation when I reserved the van.

The truck was filthy on the inside of the cab. I tried to do the self check in to pick my truck up. The code I was given did not work. Thankfully there was someone there that could help me. When I returned the truck the lady working there acted like she had no idea what I was doing returning the truck online. I'll never use this location again.

Our U-Haul truck had a leak in it that was not reported. When we called them to let them know to see if we could get a different truck they said there was nothing they could do and directed us to corporate U-haul. It took over 2 hours to get someone to come and repair it.

your truck is not maintained problem with the break and the staring wheels I didn't finish my move because I was afraid to drive it. it was unsafe with the big gab in the staring-wheels .

The people were great - very friendly and helpful, however the location of the office is a bit strange. It appears to be located in an old kitchen and you have to walk through a couple strange hallways to get to the desk, however, the most important thing to me was the Kanawha City location and the good customer service.

Clerk should be sure charges on billing are correct. I was charged for a dolly and use of blankets which were not used. A return trip to the U-Haul store was necessary to get billing corrected.

Trying to charge me a 60 dollar cleaning fee when there might have been a box of empty boxs in the back that I forgot, no, that is not ok. That is not in anyway shape or form ok.

I was not able to use my VIP DISCOUNT and they were rude about it. The truck, upon pick up, had to be hosed out because mud was caked over the entire back section of the truck on the inside and out. I request it be cleaned before we could even take the truck off the lot. The place took over an hour to check me out the truck, then upon my inspection of the truck had to chase woman down in the bar next door to report the hog mud in the truck. Instead of just switching trucks, she offered to have a guy was it off. Then, when it was returned, it says i didn't put it to the correct fuel mark when and charged for gas that I shouldn't have been.

not because of the location, but because of uhauls policies which allow on line reservations to trump in- person reservations made earlier. The truck i reserved was not available and i was in a position of being forced to get a larger one, while VERY expensive professional movers waited. Had to pay extra for truck /movers because of this. Truck was too big to fit well into defined space resulting in additional loading/unloading time. If someone makes a reservation on x date for a 10 ft truck for 4:30 on y date- because the store indicates that is when the truck is due back from the previous rental -, an online reservation made after x date for same truck for 12:30 p.m.on y date should not be given the first persons' truck. This was my situation. Will NOT rent from Uhaul again unless I can be guaranteed the specific size vehicle that was reserved. This was a bad and economically costly experience that multiple renters experience every day.

The size of truck that I reserved online 5 days beforehand was not present when I arrived. It was worked out by giving me a larger truck, but I would have preferred the smaller one. According to the clerk, this happens a lot with the online reservations. This is an issue that should be corrected and I would think an easy one to fix.
