Paid for a dolly but it was not available when I picked up the truck and they said I could go to another location for the dolly. Customer behind me was unable to get the truck he had reserved because the previous vender was hours overdue. Staff were very courageous though.

sugs gRental process was never explained when the lady checked us in to get the rental. We had no idea how to check the truck back in since the the lady that checked us out didn’t have a create an account and we didn’t have an order number, etc that could be recognized in the system. Had to call customer service to drop off the rental because after sitting in the lot for over an hour, the building still wasn’t open. HUGE inconvenience and we STILL have not received a final receipt.
DEREK CReturn on Saturday. Supposed to be open until 4. Was there at 230pm and it was closed. Why? App was not working. Called 800 number and it was challenging please continue to hold. It should not take an act of congress to return a rental. Something that should take minutes took an hour. Will not rent again!

SHARI UI would absolutely NOT recommend anyone to use this service. I rented a pickup truck and reserved it online. I was aware that I was going to have to pay $1 and some change per mile. I requested 50 miles. I drive all the way to the store and got halfway through the process of waiting to pay and the lady said that because pickups were so popular and they don't have but two pickups uhaul does not rent then for no less than 150 miles. So a service I thought was only going to be $70-85 ended up costing me $158 !! It's not my problem that pickups are popular and Uhaul doesn't have many trucks, but I dang sure had to pay for it!!! So no, I would never use Uhaul again nor recommend them to anyone!

TEVIN GWhen i called on the phone for a 5×8 trailer she said it would be $18.95 for up to 24 hours. When i picked it up she said i would have to drop it back off at the larger location because they didn't have room there. She failed to mention i would be charged $39 instead of $18.95. If she would of said that, i wouldn't of got it from there. So i have to pay double what i needed to because you didn't have room??
CHAD SI scheduled a one-way however I needed to bring it back and I called customer service cause it was after hours and they told me just take it back to the same location I picked it up and they would change it from a one-way to a one day in town. However when I tried to take it back to the same location they said that it wasn't in the system anymore and they couldn't receive it. I had to take it to the Patrick Street location. And by doing that I didn't get to change it from a one-way to a one day in town. I was charged 190.00 for the one-way and I should have received some of that back and I didn't. I feel like I was wrongfully informed by this location cause they didn't want to do the paperwork and it cost me money that I should have received back. According to my calculations I should have gotten back around $50 or more. I don't think I will ever go back to this location again
WILLIAM WHave all the trailer tires fully inflated prior to pick up. Also, service/replace tires when they are obviously leaking. Train employees on how to operate equipment that customers are picking up.

RUSSELL TIf uhaul doesn’t have an employee to hand and receive the key to my rental I’ll find another vendor I open the app to pick up my reservation app saying I don’t have a vehicle assigned to my reservation and gives me a phone number for customer support a 30 minute hold time and another 30 minutes getting that problem resolved Returning the vehicle I open the app and start the process everything is going well until I start taking pictures of the vehicle the app crashes I open the app again and find the app has no record of my rental back to customer service for another 30 minute hold time and another 30 minutes resolving this issue In total 2 hours just to pick up and drop off a rental is rental is absurd
charles gthis is a smaller location, i didnt even realize it was there. however, they are the most friendly, helpful staff ever. i would deffinately reccomend them!

Becky SThe original invoice I was sent had a billing error (ie. I was charged for 150 miles). Before I was able to call the location to report this, they had fixed the error and sent an updated invoice. I appreciate that they double checked their work and made a correction before I reported the problem.

Glen MI arrived around 5:15 yesterday evening after I got off work. The lady who checked me in was FABULOUS. She knew what size truck I would need, estimated how much time I would need the truck and gave me clear instructions of what to do with the dolly and keys when I returned after hours. She made the check in process very easy. The return on the app was not as easy/long. If you did not have a smartphone or was older it would be very confusing to have to take pictures of the vehicle from all angles. A lot to do just to check the vehicle in.

Timmy PThe truck I had needs retired. Check engine light is on. Brakes are dragging and making noise. The steering is loose and won’t go in a straight line. The box door is hard to open and close. (Though surprisingly the ramp is fine) The trucks are parked on an incline making them look like they have more fuel than they do. Showed quarter of a tank when picked up and showed and 1/8 after driving 2 miles. Whats the point of giving estimated mileage if the system is going to just assign 20 miles per day. I didn’t even go 10 miles over the 3 days my original contract was for and it wanted to pre-charge me 60 miles. I’ll go with Budget next time. Yeah more expensive but I know I’ll get a truck that’s safe.
Gary HTruck was fine. I ordered moving supplies and wasn’t notified until pickup that they didn’t have the supplies I ordered. Very inconvenient as I was on a deadline. I would have rented from another location if I’d known that I was going to have to go to another location anyway to get everything I needed.

NICKOLAS BMy only thought would be to have customers enter the building through the UPS store side for Uhaul rentals. If possible designate a small area in the UPS store for U-Haul customers. Aside from that you guys are top notch and where very accommodating. Thank you for your help during a tough time!!

abdalla bExtremely annoyed that they kept my $100 deposit when there was absolutely no damage done to the truck, and the truck was left cleaner than when it was given to me to use. Was told I would get my $100 hold deposit back when the truck was returned, did not get it back.
Stephanie HThis site shares space and staff with a UPS station. They are very busy. Checking in and out went well but it is obvious they are juggling jobs. Equipment (Van) was the best I've ever rented with only 19,000 miles. Will rent here again.
