Trucks could use a closer cleaning and servicing before being sent back out for new rental customers. There were many pop-ups on the dash to check tire pressure/ etc. Also would have been nice if there was more lighting in the lot for late night returns. Quite a challenge to get photos for the return process while in the dark.

And had to park in the middle of the lane way. Then got a call from u-haul at 1:00 AM saying the truck was blocking someones personal car, but i had returned the keys so I couldn’t do anything about that.
Farah KPickup was very difficult. The app didn’t work and we were unable to complete our check in. We waited outside in the cold for 20 minutes looking for someone to help us. Staff were standing around the entire time and didn’t identify themselves or offer help, despite us clearly being customers looking for help. We thought they were other customers. Only after asking someone plowing the lot for help did he point out the employees, who had been standing next to us the entire time. Upon returning the truck, we were told not to complete the self checkout and instead to just leave the truck running with the keys inside. What’s the use of the self serve method when it wasn’t used for either pickup or drop off?
Lily HDid not get the equipment we reserved and had the pickup location changed on us to across the city. Very poor service out in the cold. Lots of people backed up waiting for trucks. Will not be using U-Haul again.

Hugh LWe set a pickup time for 3pm and arrived on time. One person working in the lot was actively avoiding us, while the other was moving a truck. We spoke to the person moving the truck who mentioned they did not have a truck because our pickup time online said 8pm. This was incorrect and we showed our receipt and confirmation of booking. He proceeded to ask for my ID to take a photo (noting I had completed this online) and gave us a truck to use. We were a bit hesitant about the experience and ensured we completed a full evaluation of the truck before leaving. During this time a few other people showed up with trucks or picking one up and everyone seemed just as confused about the process as us. He mentioned to drop off keys at the drop box once we were finished and we did so.

DAVID OCould not easily find worker, has no uniform or anything to show professionalism. Area due to snow and slush was poorly maintained. Entering location was a hassle. The self-serve website also did not work at all for uploading license. Very messy.
Osama KI have filed a formal complaint against this location for the following issues… 1. Reserved moving blankets, hand dolly and furniture dolly. None were provided when I picked up the rental. The staff told me to go to another location 30 minutes away for them. 2. The truck bed was full of snow. It’s like they store the truck with the hatch open. Had to clean it all out and was incredibly slippery and wet while loading. 3. Drivers side windshield wiper was completely broken and only noticed when I tried to use it. Drove partway in a snow storm and was incredibly dangerous without a wiper. Had to stop at gas stations throughout the drive to clean the windshield. 4. Staff at location was terrible. I had to ask them to show me around the truck. I asked to see how the hatch worked and the guy couldn’t get it to work and just said “it’ll work once it thaws a bit”. I had to make him make it work before I left with the vehicle.

The dash had scratches all over it. They’re good people there, but they need to upgrade their cleaning but I appreciate Uhaul and I would recommend it to anybody. Thank you for your time and thanks for giving me a good truck.

April BWhile the rental process itself was fine and the employees I dealt with were polite, friendly and helpful, the location itself is rather sketchy and not somewhere I would recommend to my female friends. The vehicles are parked down a poorly lit alley with very little signage signifying an official U-haul location where legitimate business is conducted. Perhaps consider making it safer for customers?

Lucy Mlast time i rented you guys overcharged me by $100. $60 charge for maybe )m$5 worth of gas . scammers. this time i couldnt pick up on my initial resevation afterhours on the mobile app and the phone staff were no help. i was also accosted by a stranger at the entry of this alley. i had to cancel my move and the other help i had hired which was costly. finally i came back during open hours and it was stil not rready, had to wait in the cold for the guy to find the dolly and the reservation was invorrectly indicating a second dolly i did not select. i am awaiting my bill and all the other exciting upcharges you decide to give me. 4169516269 feel free to call me to discuss these ongoing issues.

Charlie NAfter I reached my original drop off location I was told my drop off location was changed, I explained it to the personnel at 456 parliament st location that I was not notified of this changed showed him my inbox and text messages to prove that I did not receive anything, but he was being rude with me in front of other customers. Then I was forced to drive down 25mins to the new drop off location at 291 College st. Personnel at the 291 College st confirmed that I had filled up enough gas in the truck and there is 60miles range remaining which was about 25% of the tank I was still charged my fuel discount/deposit in amount of $21. I would never rent from U-Haul ever again.!

Callum LI was told the tank was over half. It wasn’t. I only drove 13 mins from U-Haul to my place, parked packed the truck and started my drive. Drove another 10 mins and needed to get gas otherwise I wouldn’t have made it. - which was a 45 mins drive. I ended up filling the tank over half dropping it off with far more gas than they left me with. From my understanding the tank should be filled.
