This location is amazing, centrally located, down a small alley that suddenly opens to a large lot with what seems like 50+ trucks and trailers in it. The service was great, the truck was clean - they're working out of a trailer so I'm not so sure what the experience would be like in the rain or on a cold winters day but on a clear fall day, it was excellent.

One employee running everything on a Sunday (especially second of the month) is ridiculous. Waited 40 min to get the truck. I feel bad for the guy as it wasn’t really his fault but frustrating nonetheless. I’ve had a good experience at this location when there was enough staff but this time you criminally understaffed the location. Would give zero stars if possible.
Finnian MThe customer service is questionable -honestly not the best. Took us 2 hrs from the time we booked the uhaul for, to actually get it. Afterwards, I was charged twice—not sure why. I’ve been calling the office to resolve this but the person I talked to seemed hesitant to issue a refund or explain to me why I was being charged twice. Didn’t get a call back after the agent (his name is Gopal) assured me he’ll look into the issue and call back. I’m still calling to get an explanation and a refund. Won’t recommend this location.
Lulu KI drove the vehicle back to the original location 291 college st. but they told me to return to another lot. Then I drove a lot extra miles to 47 industrial st. I need reimbursementu for extra miles and fees for uber get back to the original location. The uber cost me 20 dollars.

Steve KStaff were dealing with a large number of people picking up in the morning, but doing so poorly. The self checkin made things no easier having to wait to speak to the three employees, all seemingly frazzled and often attending only to a single customer. And to everyone else waiting around to be helped, the staff wouldn’t address you nor even look at you - it’s like they were trying to avoid you. The vehicle itself smelled like a barnyard, and there was a half eaten waffle cone on the floor.

Adrian WThe location had what I wanted. The truck on the inside was very dirty. The location itself runs from a trailer which was a lot of trash around it, as if it’s someone’s home. Don’t let that discourage you renting from here, just bring your wipe. Also do the app check in, there is usually 1 employee on site. It’s much quicker

Kevin AAfter arriving on time, it took me an hour and fifteen minutes to get the truck I booked. The person working at the location was extremely disorganized and entirely uncommunicative. Keys and moving blankets were all thrown haphazardly into a pile in a trailed filled with and surrounded by garbage. Every time the person working at the location had to retrieve keys, he had to spend about 10 minutes sifting through that pile of loose keys. The moving blankets I was given were filthy and thrown into the truck in a pile. It felt surreal being told that I had to fold them upon return or I would be charged an extra fee. I don’t think I’ll use U-Haul in the future, and I’d never recommend it to a friend.

BRADLEY MThere was no process at all for the pickup. When I showed up to pick up the vehicle there was no way to tell who was in charge of the location. There were 6-7 guys just walking around looking at their phones and talking to each other. The number of people lining up to pick up the truck kept increasing but they were totally unbothered by the wait faced by the customers. I was supposed to pick up the truck at 10.30AM. I arrived at the location at 10.15AM. I was handed the keys to the truck at 11.55AM. Because of them I missed all my elevator appointments and had to extend my rental till the next day. Absolutely poor experience.

KENDALL PLocation pickup changed from near airport to downtown Toronto. Extremely inconvenient. Missed travel appointments as a result. Rear right brake light and blinker was broken. We didn’t realize until we left. When we arrived app said counter pickup. Guy wasn’t there (was away at lunch then showed up). No answer to phone call initially.

Mark RChanged my location from a 30 second walk to a 30 minute drive 24 hours before pickup. If the pickup wasn't available at a given location, it shouldn't be an option when making the reservation. I was also charged for the milage for the extra 30 minute commute, which is unfair. I would never booked with U-Haul again.

Sanjay SBooked a truck and equipment to move our home. Upon arrival, lack of service was poor and unorganized (10-15 people standing around for over half an hour). When we finally got some service they advised us the equipment we had booked was not available and there was no solution. Had to move a 2 bedroom house by hand. Very disappointed with the lack of customer service and attention in regards to what we booked vs what we got. Upon dropping off the truck I was met with attitude when I asked for a receipt and felt like an inconvenience to the young gentleman who I was speaking with. Very unorganized and unprofessional business.

Zeynep KThis is literally a “hole in the wall” location. We could not get the vehicle we were supposed to have to begin with because it was blocked in by many other trucks. The truck we did get was clean and acceptable. Upon returning the truck, there was no place to safely and legally park the truck, as well as no representative to assist us. When we called the representative number on the contract, multiple times there was no response. Called the 24/7 number and was directed to drop off at the “parliament” location. There was also 3 other trucks wanting to return at the same time, all with no place to park. We went to parliament location to be told there is no room there either. The agent did their best to help us, but advised us to park on street at the “college street” location and leave keys in drop box as he had no extra parking to accept our units. So besides the extra mileage accumulated and charged to me for driving back and forth between locations, this also took an extra 2hrs out of our evening trying to figure out how to simply return the truck! I would appreciate a credit towards my card. Thank you
Ryan BQuick & simple drop off. However, the location needs to be signed. There were no indications on College street to show that this was the correct location. The only evidence were the closely packed trucks lining a wide alley. The small shed-like U-Haul office was about 60m down this alley that was lined with trucks making it tricky to drive my truck in to return - I had to fold the mirrors inwards.
George GVan was filthy inside and out. Had to clean dashboard and throw away garbage plus had not been vacuumed. Rear right brake and turn signal lights not working- needed to call for repair. Overall bad experience.

Wycliff MThis location is a mixed bag. Beware that customers can block the entrance by parking badly - so don't count on an after hours return. I had to take the truck home and try again in the morning. The staff are working out of a unpowered storage trailor, which doesn't seem great for them. They have a lot of trucks and are able to turn them around quickly. The one I got was at "full" for gas which makes refueling easy. There was limited sign of a review for equipment damage being done, or cleaning, before we got the truck or returned it. With that said, both the rental and return were smoother and faster then at competing locations for this reason. Equipment was fine despite not getting cleaned before we got it. If you are process-oriented and want to believe your truck was fully cleaned before you get it, don't rent here.

Eyad AI went 15 minutes before closing and nobody was there to receive it. also it was dark and there were no instructions. very narrow access and little room to maneuver so had to tow it by hand to a secure spot.
LEYLA SThe location was satisfactory. However, there was a long lineup when we went to pick up the vehicle even though we all had reservations. There should be more employees at this location, especially on common moving days like the 1st and 31st of each month. Also, we requested two of each kind of dolly but only one of each was available and we did not find this out until we had arrived at this location. It would be good to keep track of how many dollies are available through the online system so that people aren't surprised when they pick up the vehicle.
Liam LA bit tricky to find the location. I just handed the keys to the attendant. The truck was not checked at all. I was asked if there were any problems and how much gas was in tank. That’s it. The truck was left spotless so I am wondering how the $25 rebate advertised in the truck is applied if no one checked the truck?? Overall a good experience.

Arsen MMy stealing wheel was not aligned and was extremely difficult to drive from Ottawa to Toronto 5hours with the stealing wheel not centred. I mentioned it upon dropping off the truck but the employee said he can’t do anything. If there is any compensation or partial refund possible, I spent 490$ and the driver was very difficult

This is not a safe environment for a woman to drop off at night, on her own. We had trouble accessing the app to deliver the vehicle, but Travis at the 1-800 number was very nice and helpful.
