Employee Jaskarant was aggressive, rude, not knowledgeable and impatient While I showed transaction in my bank account, he demanded receipt which is difficult to find in the account after the order was modified by him. He said “Don’t waste my time” and left. When I finally found a receipt it is appeared that our mattress bags paid a month ago are not available. He began calling manager, I had to wait and finally he suggested to pay again. He also didn’t provide blankets ordered with the order a month ago saying that the other customer will come and need them. Why is it my problem? When I place an order a month ahead I expect to come and have everything ready, not asking, arguing or getting rude service. He was making comments how my daughter should talk to him although he made us suffer with his service for an hour. I found that he was extremely disrespectful and poor trained. I would terminate such an employee because he has no idea what customer service mean at all. Maybe it’s because I am a woman and not Indian because the rest Indian men were prioritized although came later. We were ignored during this hour. No apologoes, nothing!!!. Order maid a month ago, mattress bags were ordered and paid ahead. He couldn’t find them, the appeared he doesn’t have any, was calling manager and finally began to yell me that I should call Uhaul, he is just working here and tired of me. No ordered blankets, no service, no help. I want to submit a claim for compensation for poor service. I felt discriminated and treated with zero respect. I was trying to stay polite and nice but it’s is really hard to do in a such situation. It’s my worst experience with Uhaul, I don’t believe I want it again. I am going to leave google review about this location and particular employee. I never have any biases but nobody is allowed to speak to me or my daughter in this manner with the highest level of neglect, especially when I am a customer who pay you. I hope he will be terminated. It’s impossible to train basic respect to people, even if they are not Indian. Hate this location, and experience of that day. It’s a shame for such a big company hire someone like this.

Guylaine MFirstly, in UHaul's defence, the company's computer service was down during the dates of my contract but that does not account for the fact that the staff that takes reservations, while polite and efficient, should have at the very outset informed me that the Langley franchice that I was requesting does not offer one way rentals and the Sunday evening call that I recieved from the Surrey franchice was intelligible and it took over an hour to process my resevation and take delivery of the truck which really affected my time schedule and caused considerable delays. In that the Surrey franchise computer printer was not working I was not given a hard copy of this contract and for some inexplanable reason the Surrey franchise recorded my email address incorrectly recorded my email address and I just now was able to get this information. Upon finishing this rental here in Penticton yesterday, Tuesday June 3rd, I phoned the Penticton Brake and Wheel outlet and the operator went out of his way to receive this rental truck even though he was not prepared to do so... that guy was great. In any case, I really don't expect any need for a rental truck in the future but if so, I will certainly be prepared to ask awhole bunch of questions and get assurances that what I'm expecting is confirmed.

Parasmani DI m told U-Haul fools people , like I called and booked told to book for 2 days first it was booked for 1 day I refused then it was booked for 2 days but when I wekt to pick up it says it is changed to 1 day and someone called me but left. No message nothing , so I wanted a bigger 10 ft traickbbut had to settle for abandon I wanted 2 days , so I was forced to make to trips and it doubled my kms , I was told U-Haul always does this to scam customer , now I experience it first hand

abdul kWhen you ask if the vehicles are clean, one would expect it to be clean, meaning if the previous customer did not clean it, it would have been cleaned by Uhaul before we got it. Then when I returned the vehicle the clerk did not even want to look over the truck. So it seemed a little funny an unofficial for a rental company. I have rented from Uhaul many times and would go back.

TSUN WThere was a little bit if garbage (some receipts and papers) in the cabin, which is caused by the previous user, not the location itself. Service was EXCELLENT and super fast. They also have lots of vehicles and in a central location. Highly recommended.

Great job guys! 😊 I hired Swift Shift movers through you and I was very pleased with them, very courteous and such a huge help! Even having to keep them for an extra hour was so easy to take care of. I will definitely go this route the next time I have to move! I have already been telling many people that UHaul and hired movers is the way to go!!!!! High 5 to all 🖐🏼😊

SESHA KOwner of the location asked us to pay $5 when we were dropping the truck and picking the car up. He didn’t mentioned anything before but $5 hardly makes a difference for us. The main concern is the way he shouted at us saying that i would have towed your car and next time i will see how can you rent 26 ft truck from uhaul as i am the only one who has big uhaul trucks in surrey. Very unprofessional and very very disappointed behaviour from uhaul location person.
ANMOLDEEP STruck was definitely not cleaned after the previous customer as there was trash left behind. I had requested a Dolley which the attendant confirmed but forgot to put in the truck so I had to come back and get it which was very inconvenient. Granted he did deduct the mileage. Overall not the best experience

MEHBOUB KI delayed only 10 min to deliver to the truck. I understand and I was aware that they were going to charge me a penilization for that. They were calling and calling like crazy, I inform them that I was stuck in the traffic but that I was already on the way to deliver it. When I arrived at the place they called the second contact to tell him that he did not answer. Already in the place of delivery, they called the second contact crazy again saying that it was not yet. I was already given it clean and they charged me the extra cost. Last time I return to this place.

ADEL TI wanted to share some feedback on my recent experience renting a van. The young man who helped me at 7 AM was absolutely fantastic—super helpful and professional. However, there were a few issues. The van was quite dirty both inside and out when I picked it up, and the parking lot was muddy, which made the process less smooth. Additionally, I noticed an extra $15 charge on a separate transaction, and I’m still waiting for clarification on that. I made sure to return the truck cleaner than I received it and with more gas than it had when I picked it up. I’d appreciate any updates or explanations regarding the extra charge. Thanks for your attention to these details!
