My vehicle broke down and was towed to Dumas, Tx. I needed the rental to get my property and self back home to Co. I had to drive 75 miles to Perryton to pick up the truck and another 75 miles back to Dumas. Better customer service would have been for someone to bring the truck to Dumas for pick up.

DOUGLAS WDrop off went well. He doesn't say much. Could be more personable? Few words wore exchanged with the gentleman that took the truck back. -D
DUSTIN CThe breaks were bad. Truck leaked and ruined our personal items. The truck was smoking bad and the check engine light stayed on the whole time. The service and maintenance on the truck was less than poor. The truck needs serviced before another person can rent it. It was in bad shape when U-haul leased it. All they care about is money and not the safety of their customers.

Edgar LTried planning this move weeks in advance. Everyone kept pointing to the internet even the Perryton Uhaul Representative. Wished someone had recommended downloading the Uhaul application in the first place. There is a big difference. I needed a bigger truck. Adding an additional trailer needed to be done in advance since the weekend location was closed in Perryton. Loading the truck would have been difficult with trailer already hooked up and I thought there was a reason for the dealer pre hookup uhaul rule. After hours Uhaul communications are worthless. Constantly put in a recording options loop. Had to get external equipment help. Uhaul had the equipment but lacked in service. Downloading the app was very helpful but I found out late. Town Representative could have helped more but words were very limited. RECOMMEND THE APP! not just point to the internet. I Don't do this all the time!
Ernesto CI deal with Parkview on a regular basis and have had zero failure from previous experiences. Unlike pickup location, lots of boxes, packing material, pads, dollies, tie-downs, tape and everything you could need for a U-Haul move.

Robert GYou need an agent who gives a damn - doesn’t communicate with costumers well and when he does he’s cranky and irritable . He was an ass hole and for me that makes u-haul look the same !! I’ve been leasing u-haul for 40 years - I have received no statement as to charges to my card !!!! I’ll never use or recommend that anyone use u-haul again - I’m going to encourage people to use your competition every chance I get !!
rANDAL NThe guy working was a complete asshole! I unhooked and dropped off the trailer and out of courtesy I went into the office to inform him. The first thing he said was “I wish you would have come in first so I could tell you where to park it!”. Then after I apologized and offered to my help to relocate it he responded “no it’s too late, I’ll just check it in!”. As we we walked out, he opened the door aggressively while staring at me in a very threatening way. I will never use this location again!!!
Frankie DI changed the pickup time to 1 hour earlier but the person was unaware of the change. The person was rude about my arrival earlier than he expected, and I had to wait 30 min to get the cargo trailer. Customer service is key to a good business. I'm not so upset about the wait, but the way I was greeted was less than professional. As this was the only U-Haul vendor in the area, and only 1 person working, there was no choice but to use this location for my business.
Jeanie HI had to drive 54 miles from Oklahoma to Texas to pick up the truck… it was very new and clean…I was told I would be given an extra mileage allowance for the added distance. We loaded and drove to our destination, unloaded and returned the truck around 3 in the afternoon 18 hours before due time and then was charged for a 2 mile X $1.00 per mile plus tax overage. Unreal!
William KRepresentative was rude and informed me he would be atleast 45 minutes while servicing another customer vehicle. I informed him I was going to run to the parts store for a hitch adapter got back as he was finishing her car and he proceeded to service 3 other individuals before renting my equipment to me
Calep YI think staff should be more polite with the client and more when renting towing equipment. They just give you the equipment and if you ask for support they say we send you’ll instructions by mail. Being Uhaul a such a big company their staff should not engage your car or loaded it but should at the end after you finish they should supervise that its secure if you ask. Safety should be their priority. Probable I felt like this because it was my first time I used a towing equipment but I really think theres more people being their first time and when ask for support, we send you by email the instructions is not enough thinking of the risk it could be for having a car prepared to be towed correctly.

rodney aI had to drive 120 miles to pick up the truck day before the move. If I didn't do this, I had to cancel my move and it would have cost me thousands of dollars. I was not happy with how U-Haul scheduled the pick up.
Chong OWhen you say 24hr rental it needs to be 24 hrs. We rented by 8:40 am ish and had to have in perryton by 8:00 am. 40 minutes is a lot of time when moving..
