Outstanding customer service! Upon return of the trailer our towing vehicle got a flat right as we pulled in. I notified the representative of our need to push the trailer into its location due to the flat. He assisted us with pushing it and stayed an extra 30 minutes after closing, keeping his flood lights on to help us see as it was dark. If the world had more folk like him, how great it would be! Thank you kind sir and God bless!

There is very little lighting. The parking lot was full with other Uhaul trucks/trailers. I wasn’t sure where to place the trailer. In the future there could be better lighting and a clear, defined space where customers are supposed to return the trailers/trucks. I noticed that one person had just left a trailer in front of one of the gas pumps because they could not find a place for it.

When I went to pick up my trailer There was no one to hook the trailer up to my car she was telling me to do at my self I'm 74 old Sick lady end she be come very. Nasty I never had This kinda servic from uhaul I Hope no one go's ther to do business

The place didn’t open until 9 however I reserved the truck for 8 so I had to wait there a while before I could pickup the truck. They also didn’t have a second dolly which I had prepaid for online. When they opened the lady who helped me said that I never paid online so I had to pay $150. I showed her that $183 already cleared on my account and showed her my receipt. She said that it was just a hold and she had to cancel my order and redo it because she didn’t have a second dolly. She insisted that this was the process. She told me my new total was $130. I explained to her that that doesn’t sound right because I had purchased the insurance on the truck and she said that I just had to trust her. The entire experience was very odd and the entire time it seemed as if it was almost fraudulent. Not a good experience.

They got my phone reservation wrong, then I had to connect the trailer myself. When I returned, I had to disconnect the trailer myself as well. He actually asked me if I had put it back. I was livid. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. He told me to never come back. I don't think that will be a problem. They are a black eye to your franchise.

Let me start with my spouse was active duty military and passed away July 2019. St. Augustine is where our condo was located while SGT Robinson reported to duty in Jacksonville, Fl. We hired a moving company initially and it was a rush job, the last job, on a Saturday. When we went back to the condo we realized we had so much furniture left over and needed a uhaul. My step dad and I had gone to a few locations that didn’t open to noon. We were enroute to an actual uhaul facility when we passed the gas station that rents uhauls. The check in and check out process was extremely easy and the clerk (possible owner of the gas station) was friendly. If this review was on her alone it would be 5 stars. We rented a dolly and her elderly dad assisted us with putting it on the truck. I did note that the gas was half a tank and we filled it up to half a tank. I compare this to rental car and usually I would assume it’s a full tank. The truck was in good condition. The issue came to play when we returned the truck. We actually filled up at the gas station. There was a shower curtain, blanket and crutches when we returned. My step dad asked who I would assume to be the owners husband or brother. The man was rude to my step dad and very combative. The man said I’m going to charge you $25. My step dad said I’m discarding the remains I’m asking can I throw it away in your dumpster. The man said I’m not doing your work, this isn’t fair, and you want something for nothing. This was a very shocking encounter. There is a language barrier but this was totally unprofessional and the only reason I would recommend this location.

Service was good but ran into a snag when returning as the job I rented the truck for was cancelled literally minutes after I picked it up. I left the parking lot of the business went maybe 50ft and turned around. Picked it up at 1029a and returned it at 1042a. The person working said she couldn’t cancel the contract because the program wouldn’t let her. I didn’t use the rental, I didn’t burn any gas and I didn’t put any miles on the vehicle. I don’t feel I should have to pay for a day’s worth of rental for leaving the parking lot and immediately returning. I would appreciate assistance in obtaining a refund.

After having completed on-line reservation, I had to go through and redo all the same information upon arrival at location. I understand confirmation maybe required, but, why redo the entire process? Also, I am uncomfortable with the way that Uhaul is now having individual locations take photos of personal IDs on cell phones. I realize this is most likely a corporate policy, however, I want to be assured there are strict procedures in place for personal data.

Van was clean on outside and cab cargo section of van was not swept. Was also told I could not park the vehicle I came with in there lot and would have to park in mall parking lot on other side of a four lane highway. After complaining about situation they told me I could park in space that van was in but they were not responsible for any damage that may or may not happen in there lot

Get rid of Pats discount as letting him be a representative for U-Haul he committed fraud on my bank accounts he is a crook made police reports and caring this all the way so that itDoesn’t happen to somebody else he took advantage of a 65-year-old woman and U-Haul has not done anything to help itself one of their sales field managers called me on their own personal cell phone nobody has gotten back to me yet the only person from U-Haul that’s even help meSomebody in the sales department that they will not let me talk to you again Nicole nobody has reached out to me and give me the money back I deserve I let them pick up the truck from my storage unit because I was soBecause I said I was dropping the truck off at another location down the street because I am so terrified of this Pats discount place and they didn’t even have me down as dropping it off there so I called up U-Haul and they said they would go pick it up forMe. Nobody has gotten back to me and this was very much fraud and I think it is awful U-Haul is supposed to be a really good reputable company are you going to let one person oneThird-party person give you a bad reputation I need help with this situation and I am pursuing help now thank you

On a saturday 1 pm the store was closed. No one there to drop trailer to. And I recieved an invoice for additional days rental. Picked up june 14 and dropped to Pat's Discount Sat june 15. I need the bogus day rental credited please.

You should not confirm to a customer a day in advance that he has a vehicle secured when that vehicle is still being rented by another customer. I received a call a day before from a U-Haul representative that my cargo van would be available for my use on the day of my reservation. When I arrived at the U-Haul location, the van was not there because the customer had not returned it on time and did not return it until very late in the day. My confirmation was not accurate. As a result, I rented a pick-up truck, which I did not want to rent.

All went well. Trailer wasn't terribly clean inside, but that was not of any real consequence. Pick up location staff were friendly but of no real help - which, again, didn't really matter as I have lots of experience with trailers and towing. Overall the whole event was pleasant and trouble-free.

This was one of the best U-Haul experiences I've had and I've moved often. Booking was simple, check out and in was fast and easy. The customer service at Pats Discount was outstanding. I highly recommend this dealer. Even though other dealers might be closer, they could not possibly be better.

We had rented a truck for a 24 hour period with a return of 4:30 pm. I had contacted the office to let them know that I was stuck in Jacksonville traffic and would be returning the vehicle by 6 pm. I was in my own vehicle as the truck had been parked from 1 am the previous morning. I was told that there is a full day charge for the truck for this late return and that if a vehicle is returned even 10 minutes late a full days charge was assessed plus the cost of insurance. I find that to be an extremely unfair practice. generally a "LATE FEE" is assessed when "late" not a full charge. I was also told that the truck was rented out that evening so you charged me a full day rental and charged the next customer a full day rental being paid twice for the days use of the truck.Needless to say, I kept the truck for the next 24 hour period , left it parked , and returned it since I felt it unfair your company would double charge for the truck. Also your advertising practices are deceptive as you state a daily rental rate and then charge a mandatory insurance upcharge. All of this has no bearing on the location we had rented from but the underlying company practices are what I am extremely unhappy with.

Foreigner/Owner Pat was very rude and disrespectful. While battling cancer, he says they do not connect or hook up U-Haul equipment. Once the contract was done he became offended when asking for help.He actually became threatening. Best advice, deport this jerk and get a new owner for this location.

There was garbage left in the cup holders and something sticky on the dash. The dome lights in the back did not work. The truck size we reserved was not there.so they offered the smaller truck. if we could fit in the smaller truck, I would've just reserved that one... but we had to size up and then were charged for the larger truck because they didnt have what we reserved.

You can clean and fumigate the trucks. Right before I returned the truck to the location I opened the storage location under the middle seat and at least 10 cockroaches scattered and ran everywhere. This happened while the truck was in my driveway and at that point I didn't want to even get back in and drive it to return it to the location. I had a duffle bag and parts of the furniture in the cab with me while I was using the truck and now I don't know if I brought roaches into my home. Not a nice experience.

The gentleman seemed agitated because I couldn't understand what he said. Then he just pointed to a bunch of trucks and said it's good to go without showing me which one it was or walking around checking for damage. Not this place's fault. But my reservation was at a location down the street then was changed to here without a phone call. My pick up time and location was changed without me even knowing it.

truck stank like an ashtray, paperwork took 1 hour despite reservation, i had to install trailer hitch and attach trailer myself, trailer hitch cost $10 !!!!!! i was surprised the tires and steering wheel came free! i will definitely give Penske a shot next time, the experience was ridiculous, upon return the manager refused to inspect the vehicle because he was on the phone. shame on u -haul !!!!
