Vehicle was picked up on Friday August 14th 2026. I walked into the Amoco station and spoke to an older man to return the cargo van. I informed him that the van had stalled out and I had received a parking ticket and I wanted a refund for having to keep the van for another day. His reaction was, woah, you had the cargo van for 9 days. I was really confused with his comment because I had already spoken to an employee there that rented me the van. He never addressed the main issue. He then asked about the miles and how much gas was in the tank. The main issue was that I asked how much was owing on cargo van and he told me $1800 and change, I had zero idea what he was talking about. Twice I had questions and concerns, and the rep told me that he didn’t give a shit. Was repeatedly cursed out by an older Indian man when I returned the vehicle. It turned out after he made the mistake that he was referring to the mileage not the price. After he misquoted me he had the audacity to tell me that I was not listening to him. I literally walked away from the counter and tried to start over with a smile for him. That made it worse, very hostile and I had an Uber arriving in 5 minutes after his rant. His reply, “I don’t give shit”. When I said sorry but you are not going to speak to me in this manner, he repeated you will be sorry. I never cursed at this man and it was the most unpleasant customer service I have ever experienced face to face, and I’m 50 years old. I called Uhaul immediately to express my concerns about this individual and spoke to Mike at 7:26pm on Saturday August 22nd 2026.
