The owner of Paul's grocery told his worker that he does not get in until 9:30. Despite him being told that I had a reservation at 7:30 to pick up. He did not show up until well after 10 and was rude and not friendly at all. No apologies for being late. Poor attitude. This person should not even be a vendor for your company. Very bad experience. Then took almost an hour to complete contract.Melanie D.

When I arrived at pickup location at scheduled time I was told the owner was not there and he was the only one who could do the paperwork. Waited about an hour for him and by then it was storming. When he arrived he told me I either had to wait for the rain to end or hook up myself because he didn't want to get wet. Well, it wasn't going to stop raining so with no help I had to figure out how to get everything hooked up while myself getting soaked. Yesterday when I returned the trailer he was not there either so the cashier told me to just leave it there which I did after requesting her to sign something saying that I did. The trailer was not due back until today but I was still charged for the entire rental time which the owner also told me would be adjusted if I didn't need as much time. Nice equipment but horrible customer service. I even had to call a location out of town to verify the tow ball size because I could not get any info from him when I called 2 days prior to pick up to verify pick up time.Casey P.
No heip just took all of my paper work pointed outside and said leave it on side of building. Rude when asked of something to show I had left trailer. No one checked trailer for anything etc.Herman T.
I had to drive 25 minutes away from where I wanted to pick up so I had the extra miles added on already and than the fact that the parking lot was being worked on so I had to drive 3 miles away to turn around. I requested a car dolly and a dolly which I didn't get and had to pay extra for a a transport that I didn't request in the 1st place.Douglas G.
Score above is not directed at Paul's. Problem was not so much with Paul's Grocery as with Uhaul itself. I originally scheduled a trailer at a location in Baton Rouge because I was moving my son across campus at LSU. This location on Florida Blvd did not have the trailer I was going to pick up. After calling the scheduling line, they located a trailer 45 minutes east of Baton Rouge in Livingston LA. By the time I drove out there and back to Baton Rouge it had cost me 3 hours of moving time. So when I picked the trailer up the person at Paul's told me I could return it to any location. There was a location on Highland RD in Baton Rouge that was a stones throw from my sons apartment so this was great news. But then I tried to drop it off, I was told that it would be $200 extra. So I had to drive the thing all the way back to Livingston, costing me several more hours and gallons of gas. I've been told I would receive a $50 credit, but I thought that was for the first screw-up. Horrible experience overall. Will never use uhaul again.woody L.
