I had never intended to go to this location. U-Haul changed my rental to one that was in another state and over a toll bridge from where I wanted to be. But I needed the vehicle and had no other options. The staff was friendly and helpful, but the credit card terminal that U-Haul provided to the auto location was not working at all, so it took a long time to get the rental processed. It's not the fault of anyone (necessarily) but there was no cell service there and so all the fancy online stuff was useless.MICHAEL R.

When you advertise a 15' truck it should be 15'! Trying to say that couple feet above the cab is what makes it 15' isn't accurate. The bed of the truck itself wasn't more than 10-11'. Why not show all the extra hidden fees online also? Was charged almost $10 more in extra fees!Jennifer D.

I had a terrible experience I was told that I could change my drop off site once I had the truck (very deceptive) just call a specific number to tell them where I wanted to drop it off. When I called the number after getting the truck this was not the case I would be charged $210 to leave it at the next location. So I reserved the truck called the 1-800# was told that was okay to change the drop off location just get the called the other number provided was told to get the truck then call back to update once I had it was told I would be charged a ridiculous fee this was the worst service and I would not recommend this company to anyone and I will personally never do business here againDebra M.
I had pre-registered, and they couldn't find my reservation , their wifi kept kicking out so I couldn't do anything on my phone to pull up my registration. And I didn't receive the discount I had been given when I set up the pick up in the first place. When I returned the vehicle to the drop off location, my original registration was visible. Personnel were rude and seemed like the simple act of returning a truck on a Monday morning was an inconvenience for them. I arrived before the U-haul guy and when he arrived was told that I should drop the key in the drop box. I preferred to keep it in my hand and turn it over directly to him so that if there were any issues we could have a face to face. After a dismissive grunt he filled out the paperwork and sent me on my way. There was no "good morning" or " have a nice day" nor any feeling that I was a valued customer in any way. If dealing with Pennsville Auto had been my only experience with U-Haul, in the future I would re-think my decision to go with U-Haul as a company.Jeffrey K.
The 6X12 trailrer i rented was/Is in dire need of a lube job on the overhead door. The left front wheel was bent. I do believe the surge braking system was not working at full capacity.. Folks at u haul need to understand there are 24 hours in a day. I was billed for four days when i had unit for 72 hrs.Joe P.

There was no line, but it took 20 minutes to get waited on to get the uhaul and another 20 minutes after checking out before we got to leave with it. The truck I chose online was a 17ft truck and they only had 20ft when I got there. The furniture pads and furniture dolly were double the price that was advertised when I was reserving my options online. It was inconvenient and expensive.Tomi N.

I rented a 6x12 enclosed trailer. When I got there, the trailer didn't have anything to raise the hitch up...it was sitting on the ground. I was told it didn't have one and we had to lift the trailer up and onto the ball on our vehicle. Thankfully there was someone there to help hook it up. However, when we dropped it off, me and another person had to lift the trailer off the hitch. If I was by myself or with another lady, I would have never been able to lift the trailer onto the hitch. I did see an open trailer (sitting across the lot) that did have a lever/mechanism that raised the trailer. However, the heavier one that I rented, didn't have it.karen P.

I was really glad I could pick up the truck locally moving is stressful enough you don't really want to have to drive a long distance out of your way to pick up a truck and have to arrange for someone to either take you or pick your car up. This comment is on the condition of the trailer and not the pick location. The actual trailer was old and most of the rails on the sides were useless because they were coming off the wall. I had to rig the furniture to help secure it.Dale G.

The clerk who assisted us told us it was $.69 a mile and we were charged $.89. The shop was supposed to be open until 5. We arrived back at 4:55 and no one was on the premises and being that we just moved, we could've used the money we were getting back from the deposit. As for Uhaul (the company) we're just irritated with the fact that they charge a flat fee PLUS mileage AND make you bring the truck back with a full tank of gas (why am I being charged per mile then? Couldn't you just lump it all together?) Anyway, it's convenient to be able to rent a truck, but it's too expensive to rent the truck and have to do all the work yourself. Just hire someone. The u haul I picked my trailer up in Pennsville NJ I did not like. The man who I paid was short with me and ride. He told me to "hook up the trailer myself and make sure all the lights work". I have rented from you before and the representative always walked out there with me to check over my vehicle as well as the equipment I was renting and help me secure it to my vehicle. This guy flat out did not give a crap. He was also very rude when I told him my bill was $30 higher than it was supposed to be. But when I reached my destination and returned my rental Equipment in Cincinnati the people there were very nice and friendly. Overall the equipment itself was fine but the attitude of the man working at the place I got the trailer from in Pennsville really turned me off from future rentals in that areaSTEVEN G.

Make sure someone will help to hook trailer my truck, Tongue on the 6x12 trailer is extremely heavy with no jack and right down on the ground. When picking up the trailer, I was told to "hook it up and drive it around and we would do the paperwork and make sure the lights work". Had to walk back it and request someone to help me. Two of us struggled with the weight to put it on the ball. Otherwise it towed great and I will use it again there.DAVID J.
