The truck that I picked up wasn't completely unsafe and should have been removed from the fleet a long time ago. See my reservation for additional details. I would like to be very clear that I am not blaming even 1 ounce of this on Pepp Motors. UHaul has to do better at securing reservations more than 24-48 hours in advance and they should ensure that the retailers are actually doing a full walk though/ drive through of each vehicle once it's returned.Ingrid O.

The cab was relatively clean, but there was a liquid in one of the cup holders and a general griminess to the cab. My understanding is that this rental was dropped off using the app so no third-party to the previous renter inspected it, so I am unsure about what could be done.Justin W.
This rental was way to expensive. If I would have had any other option I would have gone to them. Paying almost $500 to rent a trailer for 4 days is unreasonable. The location was not the issue, the price dictated by uhaul is the problem. Lower the priceBRAD L.

The men at this location were fine, pros who know what they're doing and served their customers well . . . BUT . . . tell your CEO to get a spine, stand up, and tell the Dems and Rinos they can take their Environmental and Cost Recovery Fees and shove em up where the sun don't shine. Truck has some garbage left in it from previous user. Which leads to suspect that it wasn't cleaned and sanitized by staff. I wasn't concerned, but if another person would have gotten that truck, they would have freaked out knowing that it wasn't sanitized during a pandemic. There was even Pepto tablets in the truck from the last person.Johnathon N.
The only issue I have and I am not sure of the results are as follows: when I rented out the truck they told me I needed to return the truck to a location in Escanaba which is an hour away (one way) told them that would not work; then I got not an e-mail that stated that I needed to return the truck to a location in Champion, Mi - 45 minutes away (one way) again not acceptable; so we returned the truck to Pepps Motors that is in Marquette- I then get a notice that you charged my credit card $7.42 because we didn't return it to Champion, Michigan; again I hope you will reconsider this charge as it was not convenient to return the truck to either Escanaba or Champion, Michigan when there was a drop off in Marquette. The 20 footer handled well. Mileage wasn't bad at all. We were up and down hills, pickup and maintaining speed was easy. Mirrors are in good positing for side and back view. Too cool to test A/C.Robert F.
I really enjoyed the process. The truck was great! Only one comment, I didn't realize the mileage cost was $.69 per mile. That changed the bottom line as I had to drive quite a few miles. I should state that I did not rent the truck to move. There were no cars for rent that day in our little town, so I rented the truck! It turned out to be a blessing as I bought a new bed that day, and a friend needed to move some large items! Thank you UHaul for being there when I needed transportation!!PAUL S.

Was originally booked to drop off at All Seasons, which had a sign up when I got there that said they were no longer taking drop-offs. Some kind of proactive notification would have been nice. I called and waited on hold, and the CSR I spoke with changed my drop-off location, which was close. The trailer had to be parked on a grade, so we had to look around the parking lot for something to secure the wheels. Not a great return experience overall.Thomas Z.

Pepp location was very nice. It was not our contracted drop off location but rather All Seasons. After unloading the Uhaul at All Seasons parking lot they informed us we could not leave the Uhaul there as they were no longer dealing with Uhaul any longer - and no one contacted us to tell us this. We had to leave our 16 year old son with the items rather than repack and tie down items to go to another location. The Pepp location was very understanding and helpful.
