The gentlemen that helped us with our rental went above and beyond the call of duty. Although a previous customer left the truck muddy, the merchant at Performance in Jonesville, MI swept and cleaned it as much as possible for us and gave us extra blankets to protect our furniture. Scott at Performance Automotive gave us great customer service. Their location didn't have the trailer we needed, but he picked up the phone and called another area UHaul dealer to get one sent over. He could have just told us to use UHaul's computer system (which I never feel comfortable with...there's no guarantee you'll get what you asked for), but he went the extra mile for us. I have rented trucks many times over the years and I can honestly say this was the absolute worst experience. First Uhaul changed my pickup location multiple times. At one point, after confirming my truck over the phone with a Uhaul representative, my truck was given to someone else. I had to call back and argue to have my truck put back on my reservation. After I picked up the truck, Uhaul changed my drop off location without informing me. So when I went to my account to verify the drop off location, I saw a new location that was an hour away. I then spoke to a representative over the phone to get that situation addressed and the rep was not particularly pleasant.Eric H.

When I called with some questions, I put on hold for 15 minutes and was eventually hung up on and when I called back I was sent to voicemail. I left a message and no one returned my call. I then rented online without asking the questions I had. Things were fine using the uhaul except the customer service person did not explain anything to me. I was charged for 3 times more miles than I actually drove and have not heard from anyone since when I was told I would hear from a representative within 48 hours.Tiffany H.

I was suppose to get my Uhaulbin Coldwater Michigan. They did not call me until my pickup time at noon that I had to change to the Jonesville location. We drove 2 hours to get to Coldwater then had to backtrack to Jonesville to get the truck. Then drive back to Coldwater where the house was. Took an extra hour. I was not happyCharles T.

Your website suggested that I needed magnetic rear lights, which I purchased. Firstly, I did not need these lights based on the my tow vehicle, and Secondly, they were shipped to my home instead of the pickup location 200 miles north. Completely useless advise and transaction. also very annoying since I had to drive 30 minutes from my preferred local uHaul center because they didn't have an extra-wide tow dolly there and apparently they can't be positioned at this price point.William W.

Uhaul was dirty and covered in sand and mud. There is a hole in the top corner drivers side of the roof that leaked water in and on all of my furniture and equipment. Then it was a hell of a process to get the reservation.Jacob T.

The uhaul.com website is terrible, does not show proper equipment in the area. If I would not have driven by this location, I would have went to your competitor because the website said the closest equipment that I rented was 40 miles away. Your website really needs some work.Mark B.

This was not the original location for pick up. The original pick up location was Pioneer, OH. which was only a few miles from my home. Jonesville was 25 miles away. Was only given notice the day before pick up. Totally unacceptable.anthony B.

My pick up and drop off both took an hour. Too time consuming on busy days. Then was forced to put in more gas than it had to start with, since no one told me to check my email before I left, and the gas gauge was NOT where they said it was, and I was to forced to make up the difference.
