Though I had pre-booked online, almost all the contact information in the final contract, emailed to me after the rental and billing, was wrong (except of course my email and credit card number). This is despite my correcting the in-store CSR agent several times. The actual rental cost nearly 3x as much as advertised, despite filing up the gas with my money ($2.65 at their gas pump) Turned Into my being charged (1 gallon = $14 on the final bill in addition), bringing the truck back before due time, with no damage. The trip was within town (few miles). Getting an itemized receipt was impossible for them until after the final bill & charged credit card. Uhaul's vehicle pre-inpection cell apps \ online apps are buggy and crooked (I am an IT professional with 35 years of experience). I recommend you document Every Thing with your Smart Phone camera (photo & video - like we did) This is 'vulture capitalism' especially during a Pandemic and Economic Down Turn (Day after 'Thanksgiving 2020). The check engine light was on and the truck kept skipping gears. I love think the transmission is going out. I forgot to mention to the clerk. The clerk was very nice and gave excellent customer service

The guy that runs this location is a weasle. I asked and got permission to leave the auto transport there until i was ready to load up (after loading uhaul), he said yes, he then turnes around and checked it in the next day, claimed i returned it, then turned around and rented it out. Not ever telling me. When i come to get the transport and realize it was gone Nd decided to call the 800 number instead of dealing with this scum, one of his family members that operated. Clothing store beaide this place (attached one building), came out recording and laughing and hurried insise the uhaul part of the store pointin at his phone. THE 800 NUMBER CUSTOMER SERVICE I GIVE A+ TO, HOWEVER A MERE REFUND HERE AND THERE, AND A DISCOUNT ON MY NEXT RENTAL IS HELPFUL BUT DOES NOT BEGIN TO COVER THE OUTRAGE AND FRUSTRATION I HAVE WITH THIS LOCATION BEING AUTHORIZED TO DO BUSINESS WITH UHAUL. I WOULD URGE UHAUL TO LOOK OVER THIS FACILITIES ORDERS AND SEE HOW MUCH THEY HAVE COSTED THEM. OH DID I MENTION THIS WEASLE ALSO CHANGED MY LOCATION FOR DROP OFF WHICH MADE MY BILL JUMP 90$ MORE... THIS WAS AWFUL. FRIDAY AFTERNOON HAD TO DEAL WITH RUSH HR TRAFFIC IN A 26' FT UHAUL TRUCK

Go rent somewhere else!! My 3rd time going through them (they were the closest UHaul place). Issues EVERY time. EXTREMELY slow & poor service- staff woman doesn't know how to do her job. Owner? man also very slow! VERY LONG wait times!!! Units not clean; mileage not recorded correctly. Had to go back to get a refund claim started because woman there didn't do her job & tried to pass blame onto ME!! Never going back to this location, nor will I recommend them. Three strikes.

i chose to pickup the truck without any contact with the store. I go through the whole long process and when i went to the box to pickup the key, it wasn't there. A lot of good contactless pickup did me! Very inconvenient, especially when i was in a rush! won't recommend this to anyone! i had to go into the store. that meant i had to go back to my car to get my mask and when i do get to the store, there are customers in there with no mask on. This was not what I asked for!!!!!

When I picked up my rental the 1 st truck I was given had dents that they had not noted. Then I was changed to a 2nd truck that ended up having no brakes so I went back into the store to report that issue and so they again changed my rental back to the 1st truck but denying that there was issues/damage to the truck. After sometime finally they decided to take a pic of the damage to note. After getting the truck home to get ready to load, the cab and back was so dirty that we had to sweep out the back and empty the cab that had numerous cans and bottles in the floorboard and cigerattes full in the console. My experience at pickup was awful. Have made a verbal complaint and waiting for a return call.

The person I spoke to at the pick up location was very helpful. The people I talked to on the phone at the 800 number when making my reservation were also very helpful. The issue appears to be that the information in the computer system does not match the pick up location. I reserved a 17 inch truck with an appliance dolly, a regular dolly and furniture pads. this location does not have any furniture pads and was not aware of my reservation for either of the dollies. I was very lucky because several people were picking up vehicles and at first they did not believe they had dollies at all. Luckily no one else had taken them or someone had just returned them so I was able to get what I wanted. On the phone when I called the 800 number I was told one pick up locationBut ended up having to go to the location where I ended up picking it up. For me the new pick up location was better but for others this might be a problem. It doesn't appear like the computer system knows where the equipment people are renting truly is. The staff are amazing and accommodated with the computer system definitely need some upgrades. I wished I had known the direct number to the location where I was picking up to begin with and this would have been the better way to make a reservation.

1. I did not get the rental at the location i originally reserved it at because the previous customer hasn't returned it. They told me to come to this second location, Pete's and one would be ready for me. 2. I had to wait until the young girl at the counter finished writing whatever she was writing and talking to other employees before I could be helped. It wasn't until I stated that I was on my lunch break and clearly inconvenienced now before I could get assistance. 3. I did the online check in to avoid in person contact. They still made me go through the process in the store.

the truck I got was old and kept shifting into tow mode when I started it. It wasn't exactly clean. I ordered blankets and a appliance dolly and I only got the blanket. We got moved, but you can probably see why I rated my experience as average.

No representative on site at pick up (9am) or drop off (3pm). Equipment was not in the truck and was not able to be provided. The online truck pick up was horrible and took almost 20 minutes to complete with having done the online check in the day prior. We then had to sit on hd for 20 minutes with customer service to find out about the missing equipment.

Everything at this site was fine. However, this was not supposed to be my pickup location. I showed up ay Angliana and my truck was not available. So I was told I had to go all the way to Nicholasville to get a truck. I had driven 3 hours from Ohio to help my son move, and this cost me over an hour of time. I was not offered any discount, mileage deduction, or any other accommodations. I am not happy

Called employee at location the next day to tell them I had dropped of the trailer after hours the previous night. Employee said I was good to go and would close out the rental. Return location then closed for the day and did not confirm my trailer turn in or close out my rental. Horrible service. Will not do business with them again.

The vehicle was great and the online check in and out was excellent. Had a slight lag, but overall, the technology is superior. Pete's check cashing wasn't helpful at all. I asked to check in and he said I could do it over the phone (it was slow so I thought it would be quicker to do it in person) . I went outside and did everything myself. I requestes to pick up at another location but it switched to guarantee my reservation. I hate going to Pete's check cashing. Thats why i didn't choose there to begin with. However, the online check in is much more convenient. I'll be doing that from now on.

I'm not sure where the communication break down was but I called the number on my ticket, waited on hold for 18 minutes and then was told the facility “opened” at 9am. No one was there until 10am. The rental desk is in a gas station and the folks there were unfriendly and rude. The woman for the rental was very helpful and pleasant.

This is no reflection on Pete's Check Cashing, but...I have rented (2) trucks from U-haul in the last 6 months, and both times I overestimated the number of miles I expected to travel. I was told that U-haul would credit this overcharge to my account. I'm still waiting...

Everything went smoothly and the truck was in good condition. My only complaint was that it took way to long with the 24/7 access pickup and drop off. It shouldn't take 20-30min to pick up and 15min to drop off.

Was suppose to drop the uhaul off at another location but upon returing the truck we found out we had to reload the trailer again and go across town to a different location. Not worth what yrouble we had all the way thru the process to ever rent feom uhaul again. Bad experience from the time we went to get the truck and trailer on.. Took away out much needed time from pickup then a ridulous amount of time trying to return the equipment. The truck and trailer both were fine tho.

I returned my trailer but the lady never returned it in the system. I got a reminder the next day to return it so I logged into the app and verified it had not been checked in. I drove back and returned it myself through the app then. Wasted a second trip and could of resulted in fees if I didnt return it early.

No one could help me when I arrived to pick up the truck. They open at 10 but the ONE person who works that counter did not arrive. They finally called the owner and he completed the transaction via telephone. The same situation when I returned. I waited 15 minutes and then was told just to leave the key.

They would not come out and help me unhook the Uhaul trailer. Told me I was on my own. I am 7 months pregnant and on restrictions. They told me I could sit in the parking lot and wait on "a regular " to come along and help me. This was the WORST experience I have ever had. I have rented from this location before and they made me hook my trailer up myself, not knowing what to do at all. I will NEVER EVER go back there again nor will I send anyone there.

While the location and employees were great, I had a terrible experience with the 24/7 pickup. I reserved an 8:30pm pickup, but when I went to the location the app told me that the 24/7 Truck Share needed to be done in person and told me to wait until they opened the next day. I had to find a babysitter and come back the next day and then I still could not use the app to pick up my truck, and it forced me to convert my reservation to an in-person pickup. Then I had to go inside and wait in line for my reservation I should have been able to pick up the night before. I wasted time and gas on what I was hoping to be a smooth experience.

U-Haul had no fault in this transaction. The person who rented the truck the day before refused to return it so we were unable to rent a truck from this location. The gentleman did help us locate a truck (in another county), which added time and mileage.

There was no ac in my truck. I was on a serious schedule and did not have the time to look for a different truck so I had to take it. I was guaranteed a fully functioning truck at a certain time and that was unfortunately not met. I have requested reimbursement and have been told I have to wait 3-5 business days before I receive an email that will tell me if uhaul will even refund me. I've used uhaul for years to transport my artwork. Multiple times this year already. I will be extremely disappointed if this issue is not addressed properly.

The truck had very high mileage, no AC, and the driver side door could not be unlocked from the outside. The equipment was adequate for what I needed, but not having AC was very disappointing.
