My experience with U-Haul was very good.The vehicle was the perfect size for my move and in good condition. The vehicle was clean and mechanicaly in excellent shape. The rental price was beyond reasonable. Picking up the truck and returning it was an easy process. Well done!!!!

Vehicle was available, clean, and a full tank. Transaction was slow and no damage inspection done (assuming because I opted in for the damage protection which seems unethical). The workers seemed disorganized and lack of care for customer service. Overall, average since I got the vehicle I booked with gas.

WILLIAM GI had a horrible experience . They charged me 151.42 + another 126.56 cad. Just to move from kitchener to kitchener. I ordered for 9 inch truck and they gave me 15 inch truck. First they asked me to come to fairview location and then they changed to waterloo and when before i reach waterloo , they gave my truck even after confirming i am on the way and then asked me to go to cambridge to pick. It was a convenience store. And when i return the truck on jan 1st , the convenience store was closed . Looked into the app to check out. The app was not working . Called an agent and informed her return before deadline but she did not send any confirmation mail. Already they charge me 151.42 cad. Then today morning they charged me 126.46 statinh i returned late. But clearly i informed the uhaul agent and dropped off the key on jan 1st before deadline and now they say i did late submission and fined me for two days. So my total came near to 300 cad and the distance between my 1st destination house to 2nd destination house is only 5 km. This is too much money to move few things. This is by far my first and worst experience using uhaul. Being just out of college and doing a part time Job for a living. This expense is just too much for me to bear especially for local shifting from kitchener to kitchener. It would be amazing if I can get a refund back.

ANTISH RHad to wait 20 minutes for the attendant to arrive to check us out and we were on a tight time frame for moving. The gas was less than an eighth of a tank, had to stop and put gas in before hand. Loss 30 minutes of elevator moving time.
PETER SDidn’t have the truck I needed. They overfilled the gas and wouldn’t give me a credit. Took a long time and weren’t very professional or knew what they were doing.

OLIVER SI didn’t like the fuel being half full in the truck. More difficult to bring it back to the same level of fuel. Inevitably, better for the location as most likely renters bring it back with more fuel than was there before. Hence why it is done. It should be leave with a full tank and come back with a full tank.

MIKHAIL SRented a 26" U-Haul for a day. Was charged $400. It was given to me with under a quarter tank of fuel, and I returned it with over a quarter tank. The interior was disgusting, had garbage everywhere. The rear was drenched in oil and made it extremely difficult to move anything without sliding or ruining your personal items. There was a diaper in the back with blood on it and a turkey baster covered in oil. It looked as though there was a Diddy party in the back. Will never use them again. Completely through off every U-Haul experience I'll ever have.

BRADLEY TI ordered two mattress bags (one king, one queeen) and was expecting them in the truck as that was what I was told. Upon getting home (30 minutes away) they were not there. The back of the truck had dust, dried peppers and plastic bags in the back which we had to sweep out. The AC in the vehicle barely worked at all. The people were nice but the experience was terrible

Damian CHi U haul, Recently I used your service, but I am upset from the fact that I was charged extra for the fuel even though I refuelled it back to the level I started my journey from. I have taken pictures of the before and after fuel tank level. Also I was told by the U haul customer representative that it was a one - way trip and I can drop the u haul after usage to the nearest u haul location which I did before 24 hour but I was charged $45 for the wrong location drop off which is unfair because everything was discussed before the trip on call from U haul Representative and the same was conveyed to the pickup shopkeeper as well and confirmed by the shopkeeper that I need not have to bring the U haul back to the pickup location for the drop. Please see to my concern as soon as possible since I have been charged additional $85 for my U haul service.

ALLAN DThe people working at the station are not good people. This u haul location has a petrol pump along with it. The owner is same. It's not a self pump but an associate helps out to fill. I drove 6km and had to put in 15 liters of fuel. When I raised this issue the lady helping me mentioned that these vehicles are old and consume a lot of fuel. What a nonsense

Jamie MHaving a U-Haul pick up at a full serve gas station, on the side of the road, where it is not clear how or where to pick up the truck, and the trucks are parked off site, just doesn’t make sense. It took 40mins to get the truck because so many customers were coming in to get their gas, and smokes, and drinks. When I finally got the truck, they didn’t have a brush or scraper for the snow on the truck, and the storage area was not cleaned from previous use. On top of all this, even though I had booked 5 weeks in advance, U-Haul moved my pick up location to here, even though someone easily could have dropped the truck off at my preferred location 2 km down the road. I did receive a phone call about this, but did not realize they were switching my pick up to this sketchy location. What I didn’t have a choice in, was my drop off location of the truck. I also had this booked for 5 weeks, then in the middle my moving day, I got a notification that my truck drop off location was moved without any day say if this was okay for me. Rather than dropping the truck off 5 mins from my new house, I had to drive 25 min to my new drop off location. After a day of moving, this added about an extra hr to the process

Matiullah MBooking was confirmed for 8am for a truck and utility dolly. I received a call the day before that truck wouldn’t be available until 10:45am. I arrived to pick up the truck and dolly only to be told the dolly had already been given out. I had heavy items to move - washer, dryer, mini freezer. Not only was my morning wasted, moving without the dolly was very very stressful.

At the end of my trip I checked under the seats to ensure I hadn't dropped anything or left something behind. There was multiple fast food bags jammed under the driver's seat. Under the passenger seat was a used condom. I can't believe U-haul has this standard. My wife and I are driving with a used condom in the cab. Never again

Zachary MBetter training for the individuals that are processing the equipment rental. The first truck I had rented upon the first pick of items I was getting the check engine light came on. I called Petroking to indicate that I would be returning the truck to exchange it and that I would be there in 30 minutes to start the paperwork for the exchange of vechiles, nothing was started when I returned to their location. It took over an hour to complete the change over and the agent had to wait for their "boss" to complete the paperwork remotely.
Ted GSorry for bad review but was not a good rental service I ever used in my life. The truck was Stone Age. Gasoline mileage 3km/ letter Starting switch was not working . You’ve to try for 5 times to start. Look at the back Stone Age. You’ve to hammer it to open.

louis dThe online booking was NOT clear. It said I could pick up using their app without having to wait for the people at the pick up location but I had to anyways. This is not the fault of the location but of the UHaul website booking itself. Don't give the option if it is not an option. Other than that.... everything went smoothly and the girl at the location was awesome!!!

Gerard B1) Truck Size I ordered wasn’t available. 2) once confirmed I arrived at location and was told there was a mistake and that the truck they have for me is only for in town. Even though I was called the day earlier and told I could drive it to London 1 way. This cost me extra mileage, gas and time. To drive it back to Cambridge from London. 3) I spent an hour at the pick up located figuring everything out, while I had people at my house waiting to help move. Overall, not a great experience.
Connor CMy rental van was not available for the time I had reserved it. The previous rental client was running behind so I had to wait 30 minutes for it. That wasn't the pick up locations fault. Also, the U-Haul system emails you to ask if you want to check in before you go to pick up the rental. So I did I spent around 10 minutes filling out the information only to have to redo the check in procedure at the pick up location because the U-Haul system didn't do store it / send it to the store. That's why I gave the location 3 stars. Customer service was alright. I needed to rent a vehicle and this was the place with availability.
Brooke MIt rained on the day we moved and we discovered the hard way that there was a leak in the truck, soaking our boxes and items. The boxes included, but not limited to, expensive quilting fabricthat costs $20/metre., We brought it to UHaul's attention and noted there was already caulking on the spot - we got an apology but nothing more. Also, when we picked up the truck there was very little gas in the truck and the first thing we had to do was gas up - which they also knew about and just said "return it with the same amount of gas". Unacceptable, not a great experience.
