I would put in place that all equipment before delivering have tire pressure checked, brake lights checked. The majority of customer s when leaving a vendor hasn't a clue to check a trailer that your loading with so much weight. The wire to the brakes was long enough to drag on the ground and could have caught on anything it was dragged over then unplugged the electrical functions. I taped up the wire so it wasn't exposed to hanging down. Also our horse trailers never required so a long tongue. I'm not clear what purpose that served.I was very happy with whom I picked up and dropped off with and the trailer. Pierce checked the tire pressure to the trailer and my own vehicle after I asked if that could be done and they took time to tighten the nut and tel me how to check the nut later after I got home. Trailer door caused me many issues. It was a pain to open before loading. Once loaded and got items to destination took several tries to get it back open. When we dropped it off at Uhaul location they couldn't get it open as well. They marked it out of service. As many of Uhaul items I have rented and had issues Uhaul has NEVER offered me any refund or compensation. Kinda disappointed since I have rented 4 or 5 trailers in the past 6 months.GREGORY D.

The trailer needs service. The door would jam closed and require the use of a crowbar to open. I had to stand and support the door while my husband loaded and unloaded.Karen L.

I can't imagine. I will be contacting them because they charged me for only one day when I rented the trailer for two, knowing I couldn't get it back within the 24-hour time frame. I'm sure they did it on purpose out of generosity, but I want to acknowledge that and reiterate that I expected to pay for two days. The trailer was in great shape--the door and latches didn't even squeak! They cautioned me to tighten the hitch every time I stopped, and I found it was good advice. Some stretches of I-85 are in atrocious condition and there was a good bit of vibration.CAROL H.

For reasons unknown to the people renting the trailer, my credit cards would not be accepted; the on line request gave an insurance error. I had to pay cash, which was inconvenientWILLAIM K.
Please ensure trucks are filled with windshield wiper fluid--we rent trucks frequently, and noticed that this truck was on empty--it made see a challenging--so much so, that we stopped at a gas station to clean the windshield before continuing our trip. P.S. This is not the first time this has occurred--we have rented Uhauls frequently over the past several months and all appear to be "empty"--is this a standard practice for the company?LAURA H.
Staff was incredibly helpful. I was on my way to drop off a load of furniture in Asheville for my Lamm's End Vacation Rentals homes when my truck died. Both pick up and drop off locations were fine. The absolute awful part was being sent a combined 90 miles and two hours out of my way because UHAUL does not actually commit to fulfilling online reservations. I spent way more than the discount in time and fuel. Why bother having an online system if it doesn't work?Daniel G.
