When I originally ordered they did not have a 26ft truck, when I got there they did and bc it was same price I decided to get bigger one. The 26 was low on gas, almost empty and was told if I brought it back with 1/4 tank I would get discount. I also online but that I wanted it for 40 miles and somehow that got changed in 30 (which I went over by 2 and got charged for at end of day. Bringing the truck was a hassle. The estimate from the pickup was not the same and the information wasn’t entered corrected and it took time to drop off bc things had to be fixed. The discount about bringing back w extra gas was not noted and person didn’t know what I was talking about. Whole point was to be able to do it from phone but had to go in (bc charges didn’t match) wait in line then wait longer for corrections to be made and bc drop off wasn’t same person as morning, it was a hassle.

This was the worst experience i have had with U-Haul. Cost me an extra hudred because i couldnt get the truck out of the parking lot without getting stuck. not sure i will use U-Haul again. I complained to customer service and still havnt received a response. very dissatisfied.

Worse experience ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Holly Springs sales person missed informed me on the whole truck rental process. I picked up the truck this Friday just before 5 pm. The sales person told me it would be cheaper to drop off the truck in Greensboro (one way) versus round trip which would save me on paying $.90 a mile. However, when I dropped the truck off just before 5 pm on Saturday in Greensboro the sales person said I was over on my mileage and past my drop off time. The salesman in Holly Springs mentioned NOTHING about a specific drop off time (I had the 24 hours) or paying additional mileage. The Holly Springs salesman implied I was going to save money which in turns out cost me even more money than what I wanted originally. I am really upset to the point to posting something on social media but I am trying to be level headed. I hope a UHaul representative calls me at 919-754--7740

The lights worked, but clearly the last customer did not sweep out the trailer. There was no one there to come out and help hookup the trailer and check the trailer lights. The only person there was the person tending the counter of the country store. This is the only location I have used that does not help you.

There was still some leftover garbage in the truck. Otherwise they were super helpful. Had a rental somewhere else and they did not have a rental ready. I was able to call this place last minute and were able to help.

When you order a truck at a location you should NOT get an email changing that location. The location was changed due to the original location not having pads and when we went out of our way to new location they did NOT have the quantity of pads we ordered. Rey poorly run business.

I reserved a trailer for pickup on Capital Blvd. in Raleigh, NC. Upon my arrival, I was notified that the trailer that I had RESERVED was not there. I was forced to drive WAY out of my way to pick up the trailer that I needed. When I asked for compensation for my ridiculous troubles, I was told there would be none. I sure hope your employees sleep well at night treating people like this. This only makes me plan to buy a trailer sooner rather than later, instead of giving your company any more of my hard earned money.

This has been the worse experience renting with Uhaul in over 18 years. I have a $44.00 additional charge that has yet to be explained by the Uhaul customers service or the drop off location. When I went pick up the Auto Transporter (AT) I was given a contract for an AT that was not at the location and had to do an equipment turn in and a new contract. When I arrived at my final destination I was told that they could not accept the AT and I had to drop off a another location. The employ could not tell me the address or phone number for the new location and just told me that it’s only 3 miles Dow the road and on the left. When I dropped off the AT I received a $44 additional charge that has yet to be explained.

First time using a U-Haul and I am very happy with the service provided by this location. They even upgraded the truck at no cost as one the requested size was not available. Trucks were and good condition and clean. Recommended!

We were guaranteed a 20’ truck and when we arrived to pick it up, they didn’t have the truck for us. We had to settle for a much smaller truck, just to have something, because we had movers on their way to load the truck. We ended up having to make several trips because we couldn’t fit everything in the smaller truck. We also paid for 12 moving pads, just to find out that there were only 6. Uhaul then charged our credit card double of what the original cost was supposed to be. Absolutely a disappointing experience!

The person working at the location was rude and not helpful. I was charged 33 dollars for a fee that no one (including uhal) cannot figure out what it is for. I will never go back to this location and highly discourage anyone giving them business.

I placed the reservation everything was set up correctly and when I got there start in thali reservation was changed I was not pleased I had a whole substitutions I was disappointed disgusted Furious not good business choice for a custom miles from home. Very unpleased customer: you can give a custom a discount for the inconveniences. To let them know you appreciate their business as you say you appreciate your business I believe you should show that at all cost.

I was reserved to pick up at a much more convenient location for my trip and was not told about any changes until arriving at the reserved location. He was great in helping me determine where to go. The problem is I was allowed to make the reservation for this location, despite the fact that the operator there says he doesn’t carry the truck I reserved. I then had to drive much farther to get the truck that I had anticipated. When being charged .99 cent a mile, this matters. This also put me behind schedule for the pick up due to having to relocate to get the truck. Both locations were very helpful, this was clearly an issue on the U Haul side and for the price, pretty unacceptable.

The Tow Dolly that I reserved, worked Great. I was towing a 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix with a 2017 Ford Expedition XLT 4X4. $ hour one way trip. Thanks a Bunch !!

Good people, equipment gets and overall 7 out of 10, reason being is because I had to switch out of the first trailer due to it not working properly nor did the 2nd, the guys were good as stated just equipment was so, so. If they’d check they’re equipment before rental they would elevate that issue. All in all I’ll still come back good hours and good people.

We regularly rent our vehicles from the Piney Grove Wilbon location and they've been very supportive and taken good care of us. Any issues we've had have been out of their control, such as customers not returning the vehicle to the location.

The first location that confirmed my reservation does not do business with U-Haul anymore. After calling customer service they found another location far away which had the trailer I needed, so I went there. The trailer I got had a very rusty wheel (not sure how safe it was to drive like that). The blinker light on the right side didn't work. The "clean" state of the trailer wasn't to my standard (I have a picture showing what I managed to mop out of this trailer before using it for transporting mattresses, which I can share. BTW: I asked U-Haul customer service to send me a written message explaining why a confirmed reservation was sent to a business that doesn't work for U-Haul any longer. So far I got nothing.
