Was given a scrap piece of paper with license plates written on it. I had to find the truck and trailer, connect it myself, then load my vehicle myself. Given a link to a video how to do everything. Would have taken less than ten minutes to ensure I did everything correctly. What ever happened to customer service?

Ramiro FBy all means.......... don't go here. The store worker was unfriendly and unpleasant....he was smoking a cigarette in the store and it made the place stink. My wife and I picked up the small trailer and conneced it to our SUV bc UHaul has a policy not to connect the trailers due to liability. The original paperwork agreement was for me to pick up on Wednesday and then return on Sunday 4 days later. We were able to get our hauling done early and returned the small trailer Saturday night at 9:05 pm. we took a picture of the trailer returned to the orignial position on the premisis at 9:05. A few days later a charge for the tailer appeared on my card for $155.72 which represents 5 days of rental when we only had 4. This store simply wanted to charge me an extra day (unauthorized by me) and hoped I would not notice or complain....then I went to the place and inquired, the worker there said he could do nothing (convieniently) and would tell the manager and have him call me...... Never got a call after 7 days. Then I went back and the guy there (maybe the manager?) said he could do nothing and I had to call Uhaul for reimbursement. Pretty easy for the store to simply overcharge knowing they can tell the customer they have no power to fix it. He gave me the number without an apology or acknowledgement and quickly turned to another customer to ignor me. I called uhaul and speak with a lady who said she would reimburse for 1 day.......... three days later I see that instead of a reimbursement, I was charged an EXTRA $20. Simply an awful experience all the way around.
