Arrived to a closed facility with several very aggressive handwritten signs posted on the door. I would like to send a photo of this door - profanity included. Even though there were signs, none told us what to do for a mobile pickup or where to find our truck. (We had scheduled specifically at a location that was supposed to be staffed.) My son wandered around the lot and found a truck with a dangling padlock - all of our supplies were inside. One of the many UHaul CS reps I talked with was able to help us with mobile pickup via the app. Would absolutely NOT recommend this location. The signage was extremely rude to customers without providing the needed information. The truck and supplies were in good working order.

They didn’t open until 10:00 am and had a rude sign on the door for customers. I couldn’t get reception for the app to work so I called UHaul and a wonderful rep helped me by having me send all the pictures to her email. She instructed me to call the local drop off place when they were open to have them finish the return documentation. When I was putting the key in the drop off box a young person about 12 years old took the key and said he/she would give it to his mom. I tried calling all day but no one would ever answer either number except an overflow call center. Finally the call center made sure that the return documentation was completed.
GAIL RVerify quality of truck. Cab and back were disgusting. Looked and smelled like someone drove cross country chain-smoking the entire time. Trash in both areas and stuff left in the bag. Had to grab a nasty blanket out of the back and hope it didn't have bedbugs. And swept a dust-storm of dirt out of it. Idk how it got that far, I had to clean it and verify it was clean to avoid a cleaning charge I assume the last renters got out of.
Nina LTight entrance....needed to back up 2x to get out the gate. There was no wheel on the tongue of the trailer...had to use the dolly to lift it onto the hitch

Randy SWe returned the truck with the correct amount of fuel that we were supposed to. But the next day we noticed a $61.00 charge for fuel. So apparently this facility lied about what was in the truck and said they had to put 6 gallons of fuel in it. But we had proof that we did put fuel in the truck and knew it didn't need it. So I would recommend doing a daytime drop off when someone is there, not after hours.
Chad OMy original reservation was for Lexington. Arrived to pick up truck and learned my truck was in Morehead. No notification no email no nothing. Highly disappointed at that situation. A regional manager named Richard at a Morehead location helped me locate the truck in Winchester. I was highly disappointed that I had to drive the extra miles to even get the truck. I was thankful that Richard was able to find a truck. The movers I hired for the morning to help load the truck in Lexington did not show up. Nor did they return my phone calls from messages left twice throughout the week to attempt to confirm their availability and make sure they have the proper location to go to. I was extremely disappointed about the whole process. My 10 o’clock pick up turned into 1230, and we were unable to start the move until approximately 1 o’clock. Made for an extremely long day for my poor brother who is handicapped, as he and his wife are the couple that we were trying to move to Ohio.
Rebecca WFirst, I picked a location near me, then got a confirmation then two days later my reservation was changed to a location 16 miles further, there and back was 32 extra miles I had to pay for. Not happy about that. The drink holder in the truck was pulled out and gone so no where to put my coffee/water bottle while driving except in-between my legs, which also where my phone usually goes because I have to use MapQuest for directions. I also chose to check in upon arrival, but I had to do a self check in which took 30+ minutes. I chose to check in with a human because I have rented from U-Haul before and know humans are quicker!! Luckily towards the end of my check in a U-Haul brep finally did arrive there to assist me.
Tom PI got charged extra for dropping the truck off on time but the website wasn’t working to check the truck back in

BIANCA BBe at office at designated pick up time. Had arranged to pick up truck at noon today. Got there, sign said they were open but door was locked. Called office twice upon arrical but got switched to headquarters for the region. No luck, suggested we pick up at another location. Waited a total of 20 minutes for them to open the door to complete forms. They had a sign saying "please pick up your truck on time". Said myself that they should be on time too. Had things that needed to be done. Never go there again, ever!!!

James MFor a 6 hour drive this was almost torturous. I would recommend the addition of 'cruise'. Also, at Interstate speeds this particular truck practically beat us to deaths. It had a very bad shimmy on the driver's side front wheel that made it almost painful to drive. Also, the brake on that side was sticking and very noticeable when driving through the city with multiple stops. This was a 26' truck.

Roger MIf a confirmation is issued to a customer weeks before needing the truck then the size truck and location need to be honored. We were sent over 30 miles away from our confirmed location and received a smaller truck.

GREG SI reserved a uhaul and was supposed to pick it up at 2pm. I arrived at 1:45 no one was there, 2:00 no one was there 2:15 no one was there...around 2:20 a lady pulls up and states she was sorry she ran to wal mart to pick up some things for her grandson.She didn't have the key to the building so her husband used a credit card to break in. I asked her if a dilly came with the truck she stated yes it did..Fast forward two days I had a check bounce due to a 9.99 charge for a dolly that was supposed to come with the truck.. I am now paying a $30.00 charge to my bank due to this. I am very unhappy about the service and will not be using this company again
lisa WWhen I came to pick up the Uhaul the oil light was on and no one knew what to do in this type of situation. They went back and forth on the phone trying to figure out if it was okay for me to take the truck and after a hour they decided to give me a different truck. The next time ensure the truck is in working condition prior to a customer pick up and know what needs to be done if there is an issue.
