No company answering machine/voicemail. I reserved a dolly/hand-truck with my original reservation. When I arrived I was told they don't have it. I was sent to another location after being told they called for me and I could go there. This was an additional 15 minutes out of my way in Decatur, Ga. When I arrived, no one knew what I was talking about. They did not have a dolly available, but offered to sell me one for $70. I wasted a lot of time running around at the last minute trying to find a dolly while my movers waited for my return with the truck. I should have been notified prior to my arrival that the equipment I reserved would not be available.Kimmerly M.

Called location to have someone explain charges to my credit card, the gentleman answering the phone was extremely rude and would not assist me with any questions. Unfortunately customer service is 0 with a lot of companies. I have used u-haul a few times within the last month, needless to say I will not visit Platinum Auto on Lithonia Industrial for any service ever again.Sabrina T.

I'm NOT comfortable renting for this location at all. 1: it's COVID and these TRUCKs are extremely DIRTY at this location. Trash in the driving compartment, the cup holder still have very dirty. The back of the truck not clean from the previous person used. Someone need to clean these truck....WINSOME N.

The location is not the problem. Yes the trucks need to be cleaned out after every RENTAL seeing we are going through COVID-19. However I'm on 285 and a tire BLOWED out which I'm driving and I'm a woman. The TRUCKS NEEDS to be SERVICED. The dealer was not present on time to provide the keys to the truck. The utility dolly I ordered was not available and I was instructed by customer service to go to another location to get it. Customer service did not contact the center ahead of time to arrange for me to pick up the dolly and the agent at the center was rude and nonchalant to my situation. The entire ordeal put me almost 2hr behind schedule for my move.Darwin G.

Make sure each customer does what is required or charge them accordingly. Make sure your trucks operate safely, regardless to what is repobrothe My brother drove the truck I rented. If I had been the drivet, I would have brought it back. Yes, I needed to move and was all packed and ready to go, but not at the cost of lives. This entire ecperience with Uhaul was my worst and I've used Uhaul for years. It's time to make a different choice. There was no compensation for anything, but the mileage. It was filthy and in ill repair, unsafe to be on the road. Greed!!! All about the dollar, customer service and satisfaction does not factor in in any way. VIP Helpers, Inc was the saving grace of this fiasco and my second time using them.Joyce M.

The location was okay but I had a raggedy truck which didn't drive to good sounds very bad like it didn't have oil or needed transmission fluid or something it was the worst experience ever it went so slow until I had to keep the truck a extra day because I didn't wanna drive during traffic I dropped it off late night and I made a video of how horrible the truck was and the speed I feel like I paid way to much for this truck I just had rented from budget 3 weeks ago when I put my things in storage and the price was only 93.00 dollars for two days and I had a 26 foot truck drove the same miles and paid a whole lot less and hassle free I choose U-Haul cause it was closer to were I moved but ended up spending way more and this is my first review I have ever did but I feel like I had to let you no my experience and it was truly horrible the truck was just horribleValerie B.

Truly enjoyed the customer service at Compass Storage by Stacy and Heather. They explained the process of renting a U-Haul and went through each cost estimate. My first location to pick up was horrible - Covoco Tire & Service Inc. When I arrived they informed that they had given my truck out and was not apologetic at all. The person helping was not helpful it took me to become frustrated before he got up to do what I thought was his job. The staff person wanted me to tell him the mileage which I didn't know how to do because when I got the uhaul they should have cleared it first so hopefully I will never have to experience this again. Have locations where employees can help because this guy didnt know anything and I basically did his job and wntered my own info to get the uhaul. I would have rather going to a ubaul location instead of a dealer, and then he gave me the paperwork and said bring the tank back where its at. I drove 10 miles and he claimed it was on 3/4 but it was 1/4 and said i had to pay for it and this isnt his business irate and made me irate because he wouldnt help me out. I PAID FOR 20 MILES and didnt drive 20 and is highly upset and will not deal with a dealer again.christina H.
