The truck was running fine, but it was not kept clean. The windows were extremely dirty as if the vehicle was not clean. I tried to clean the window with the water spray but there was no water to clean with.Rosemary C.

Horrible experience with the employee... ordered scheduled for 10:30am, arrived at 10:25am. Your employee did not show up until 11:10am! There was a lady mentioned to me waiting for two hours for her truck, prior to me showing up. This guy did not spot any dolly or pads on the order and made me pay $28.00 up front. Have a copy of the receipt. This guy also tried to double charge me for the pads, when confronted, he said he'll give me a discount and gave me a different price... Now have a charge on my bill for the pads and dolly, not including me already paying for the dolly and pads at the store...Eugene H.

We were moved to this location after reserving a truck in long beach. Was never given a lock box code, no ij ne was there to help. Drove to actual uhaul location then the guy at the Mobil called asking if we were going to pick up. Yes we were there, we came back .. it was a headache. Awful. The gas was a little bit less then when I took it and they charge me $15 for 2 gallons of gas. I return the the truck no one was there. I was estimated to pay $70 I went miles 29 miles and I feel that I was overcharged. My total bill was $76 for a $19.95 truck ridiculous !!!sheree C.

I LOVE how convinient the whole process was. Location was perfect. Near my home and everthing went smoothly overall via mobile. Phone and chat assistance was awesome. Also very glad that the vehicle was in very well kept condition and not run down like others.Rosemarie R.
The truck had no gas and although we were given a credit, it did not cover the cost to put gas in the truck. The location is at a Mobil gas station. Had the owner checked the truck prior, gas could have been put in. Also, the owner said he had no dolly, however there was a dolly in the back of the truck. I can return the u haul anywhere I want , but that guy didn't accept to , I don't trust u hull anymore they charge me extra because they want me to drive all the way back to the same address . The people who run this establishment are completely dishonest. I live a few blocks from this place. Me and my wife have had multiple bad experiences here. Enough to where we don't do business here at all. I was not happy when I found out this is where I'd be dropping the teuck off at. I dropped the truck off (filling it up before turning in the keys) and left. A few hours later, im billed for not filling up tank. These people are dishonest!!!Yvonne H.

The customer service person was very rude. He was putting cigarettes on a shelf when we came in. He made us wait until he put the entire box away. This location only had one thing going for them, the truck was full of gass. Obviously it's full because the location is a gas station so the owner makes money by charging uhaul for gas. During the process the guy only said a couple words to me and they where "I need license and credit card" that is all. He did not walk with me outside to inspect the truck or give me any speal about max speed or any information that would be important. I have been renting uhauls consonantly for the past 5 years. I am in the military so being on the constant move is what I do. This location/experience is the worst I had. / on 24 august I rented a open bed trailer to move a couch from Torrance ca location (I was told that's all I need) I also purchased tools to tie it down and as soon as I loaded up the couch and tied it down and hit the road I could easily tell it was a very bad idea.. the trailer was also very flimsy and swerving. I didn't make it to my destination as it was a road hazard to have the thing out there. I simply returned the trailer. I told the guy who rented it to me and all he said is "yea that happens" i was hoping I would be able to get credit for the truck I rented yesterday since i had to rent a much more expensive truck to move a couch and was told no. That is disappointing, sounds to me like uhaul is loosing its customer first modo. I will have to think twice for my options on renting from uhaul or other competitors. The gentleman hispanic male that assist us seemsd to be under the influence and was not friendly nor helpful at all. He barely answered the questions we had. Tito was very rude to me when I returned my rental truck. He got mad because I parked it in a location he didn't like. He also tried to charge me for gas, but when I told him to go check the gauge, he credited my account. He was rude and I wouldn't go back here.lisa J.

I had to insist on him providing a receipt upon truck return. He was irritated that I requested one and said he did not work for UHAUL. This location shouldn't be authorized to represent Uhaul. From the first point of contact to the return was very unpleasant and unprofessional. This location should be terminated to represent Uhaul do to there questionable practices. For one. When I picked up the truck there was no walk trough the idiot there just handed me the form without even thawing me of providing further instructions, 2. When I returned the truck the another guy just took the paperwork and said " ok I have guy call yo tomorrow".. I did ask him about walk trough and how responsibilities would be waived given there negligence. He said ok guy will call you tomorrow. We had the worst experience dealing with the Uhaul guy from India. First he was late and made us wait for 45 mins and then calls me on my cell leaving a message demanding that we go back to move our vehicle or he will have it towed! Are you kidding me! The truck was ready when I got there and the paperwork was handled very quickly. I returned the truck at the time specified and was able to just drop off the keys with the service attendant. I didn't use all the miles that was estimated in the charge, and I was only charged for the exact miles that I used. Courteous and timely service along with good integrity; this is the kind of experience that I like and don't mind sharing with others. Considering the fact that moving is usually a challenge anyway, this overall experience turned out very good because of a good truck that was big enough and easy to load and very good service at my rental location.LESTER B.

I visited your station the day before I needed to pick up the rental truck. I made a reservation to pick up the truck on Wednesday 10:00 a.m. When arrived (Wednesday morning) to pickup the truck, the U-Haul attendant was not at the station. One of the Mobile Station attendants gave me the keys to the truck. As a matter of fact, the Mobile Station attendant had to call U-Haul guy on the phone. The U-Haul guy asked for personal information (my credit card number and my drivers license number) over the phone. When I returned the truck on the next day, the U-Haul attendant was not there. The Mobil Station attendant took the keys for the truck. I had to demand the Mobile Station guy write a receipt for the returned truck. I know you get it! Additionally, you charged me $57 dollars for the gasoline refill charge. Your receipt claims that you put exactly 6 gallons in the tank and it costs exactly $27 to restore the tank to 3/8 of a tank. Exactly!. The refill was exactly $27? Really! Additionally there was $30 refill fee. You do the math. That amounts to more than $9 a gallon when gasoline is less than $3 a gallon. The U-Haul store is at a Mobile Station. You guys are comical. I have used U-Haul on many occasions. I have never had an experience like this one. This station is the closest U-Haul to my home, but I'll never-ever use this one again. If any body asks me about this station, I'll tell them, "They charged me $57 for 6 gallons of $2.98 per gallon gasoline". You are a joke!Christopher M.

I first called another business, Mike's Muffler and they recommended that I call the Mobil location since they had a smaller truck for rental that was $10.00 cheaper ($19.99 vs. $29.99). Unfortunately, I blew through any money I thought I was savings by having to stand around inside the gas station/mini mart and wait for the Owner to show up. Apparently, none of the three or four people that work in the store do not know or are not allowed to process the paperwork necessary to secure the rental of any of the U-Haul Vehicles that are available at this location. Upon returning my rental vehicle, I also had to wait for the Owner/Operator to return to the store to finish up on my paper work. Note To Owner: Your Customer's Time Is Valuable Too. Please cross-train your employees to perform these nominal rudimentary tasks...Your business will flourish and productivity will improve exponentially. On a personal note...I hate to say this but....Extreme Body Odor Was Present...A Shower And Deodorant would have gone a long way to make my visit more pleasant...I'm not trying to be mean, but this personal hygiene problem is something that is fixable must be corrected immediately.KELLY C.

When we arrived the person minding the store didn't know what he was doing. It took nearly 30 minutes to rent the truck. He never explained anything nor did we receive a contract. The truck was filthy and smelled awful. When we returned the truck the man who helped us was so rude! He started raising his voice to us when we told him we never asked for or needed insurance. It was not a very pleasant experience. I've used UHaul before and will again but not this location.SEANETT H.

I was very dissapointed with the location because i was on time for my reservation but the location attendant had me waiting for about 45 minutes past my reservasion time which screwed my moving up i caught the worst 2 hour traffic on the 91 east heading to murrieta i did and due to that problem i did not make it to my storage location on time so i had to drive all the way back with a full truck then drive back the very next day so i think i should only get charged half the price for receiving very poor service.MARTIN S.

I was double charged for a rental that I had for 24 hours. Usually if I haven't finished by the time my rental is due, I have been allowed to return the truck within the 24 hours time period so that I don't have to rush and possibly get into a traffic accident. However, the uhaul vendor that I used today would not allow me to keep the truck overnight unless I paid for an extra day. As all of the other uhaul dealers in the past that I've used this dealer could have considered my safety and allowed me to return the truck within the 24hours period without charging me extra. Please take time to make sure that your trucks are in good running condition! The rental that I was in had mechanical issues!! I called the roadside number to report the issue, and to my surprise, the person on the other end advised me too continue with my haul as long as it could still drive, and to call back if and when it stopped working completely! Oh and to make sure that I got to a safe place before calling back. There were 3 ladies all in our fifties trying to move the items, that was not professional and did not put our minds at ease anymore than before I made the phone call to report the trouble we were experiencing!! It not only made me look at your company differently, it also delayed the process!! It quite frankly put a very bitter taste in my mouth to say the least!!
