Change the car front tire tie downs. The inside of each side tire tie down was split. Should be changed for safety. I was pleased with how the tow dolly worked. It was my first time using one.Mike G.

Your mobile app check-in didn't work well at all. I tried uploading photos of the scratches on the truck and it couldn't upload them so I had to start the process over and gave up and just accepted the photos that Uhaul had. There was a service station attendant who helped us because the key was in the wrong box. He said everyone comments about how awful the check in app is.Amory C.

The guy who took the truck from me was prompt, but when I asked for a receipt he kept telling me he would email it. When I asked if he could do it while I was there, so I could make sure he did not find any damage or other concerns, he told me he was too busy and would get to it when he could. I did not feel comfortable with this at all. I ended up taking photos to time stamp that I had in fact returned the truck at the location. He just did not have very good customer service. The vehicle did have an issue. Sometimes when you started the engine it would be in an extremely high idle that would not slow down. If you put the truck in drive, it would go shooting ahead. Even with strong pressure on the brake you could not stop it. I almost went through a house before I could get it stopped. Other times it would idle normally, and putting it in drive was fine. I would seriously have someone look at this, as the issue occurred three times.LYNETTE G.

This is not reflective of the location - but I reserved at this location, got a call the day before that my reservation was moved to Bend. So the day of my reservation, I drove the extra 25 minutes to the Bend location. Upon arrival, they did not have the trailer and I was told that it was in fact at the Redmond location, but had not received notificaiton of this. So I drove an extra almost hour just to pick-up the trailer at the location I'd reserved. The folks I dealt with were all super helpful, but your central reservation and tracking system needs updates for our sake and the sake of your employees. I was charged $40 dollars for an extra day when my pick up was moved from Redmond to madras so I didn't get the truck until 10am, I dropped it off at 9:45am 24 hrs later I should not have been charged for another day.LYNN MARIE M.
Very confusing because it is integrated with the gas and car wash. It is a traffic jam in there and it is not easy to find a place to get out of the way of the car wash customers. You also have to hunt for someone to help you. Not very easy to know where to go once you are on the lot. Too congested! I have been there twice now and it is the same.SANDRA D.

So I used your service because I was in town with my son for lacrosse tournament and could not get a rental car. This was far more convenient with cell phone check in. When I came back to your station to fill it up with gas your attendant checked me out instantaneously. This was one of the most convenient, efficient and affordable rentals I have ever done. I would like to write to your CEO to find a niche and renting cars with your same process.Jonathan H.
I called to ask for a 10 min grace period since I was coming from 35 miles away. I was told once I get to my 24 hour period I would be charged for another day, I knew I couldn't make it in time so he charged me $66. He proceeded to guilt trip me, because now another family won't have their moving truck but wouldn't allow a 10 min grace period for drop off.Tina J.

When my reservation was transferred to them the night before pick-up, I reached out to them because the reservation had been changed from 7AM to 8AM and that would mean I'd miss important appointments later in the morning. I just had a HORRIBLE experience with U-Haul. I don't know if the issue had to do with a specific location or with people higher up the business ladder. I have used U-Haul in the past and never had an issue, but I will NEVER use U-Haul again. Read on if you are interested in the story... I picked my tow dolly up in Oregon and on my contact it stated that I was supposed to return it to my hometown in California. When I got home and went to return the dolly to the location WRITTEN ON MY CONTRACT, they said "sorry, you have to return the dolly to a different location". This other location is quite a ways away from where I live and I had to miss half a day of work AND pay my friend who's truck I was borrowing to help me get the thing returned. U-Haul changed the drop off location without letting me know or checking to see if that would work for me and it ended up costing me a lot of money in missed work and paying my friend with the truck. I spent over THREE hours on the phone with U-Haul "customer service" and they did absolutely nothing to help me out. I asked many times if they could please honor the contact that I agreed to when I picked up the dolly (return it to the location stated on the contract) or refund me for the dolly. U-Haul FORCED me to return the dolly to a completely different location from what I had agreed to on my contact which I believe is completely unacceptable and extremely poor customer service/care. They did tell me that I could return it wherever I wanted, but I would be CHARGED an additional fee for a "wrong drop-off location". I am really disappointed by this and I think it is unfortunate that there are not many other moving companies out there. Please use caution when renting from U-Haul and I hope you can avoid a situation like mine.Joanah E.

Rented truck for 24 hrs on 3/27 Pick up at 9am return at 8am 3/28. Staff at pick up wasnot knowledgeable about rental of truck. Took forty five minutes to acquire truck. I was told that I was supposed to â€œpick upâ€ from my phone because I had reserved it from my phone. Website was glitchy and I had to log in several times after getting kicked off. I followed all prompts as best I could until it said â€œyou may close browser.â€ Finally the guy said here's the key. I had rented truck earlier in week for 2 days with no issue. Was called at 11 after having truck for 1 hour and was told I was late asked if I was going to still pick up the truck. Told them I was actually driving the truck. Then was called at 3:22 and asked me to return truck at 3:30 because they had rented the truck to someone else. I was still using truck. I returned truck promptly/ASAP at 3:38. Was charged full price for use of truck even though I was made to return truck early because of their mistake. I will not be using this company again. They made $210 off me this week and I didn't get full use of the truck. Unprofessional at pick up and unprofessional asking me to bring it back. When I tried to tell them what happened at pick up I was told they were the â€newâ€ owners and they don't own the trucks they just rented it out. I had no issue with the truck. The truck was great. There was almost no parking places. I had secured the reservation with the owner who assured me that there would be a real person there to help us get the truck. We arrived about 5 minutes early. The check in attendant was very rude. He asked my husband to do the online check in before he would even talk to us. However, when we returned the truck, the same man was there and was in a much better mood. Nothing against this location but Uhaul in general has been a stressful experience. I've had three reservations canceled without notice and with no assistance to get a new reservation. Moving is hard to coordinate. The Uhaul "traffic" and the Uhaul rental locations need to communicate more efficiently to avoid the confusion, cancellations and huge stress.Lawain C.
