The truck was dirty. Representative said I would have to wait a few hours before it would be cleaned. I showed up on time. I was not going to wait. SO much for following Covid 19 regulations regarding cleaning. Representative said he would not charge the insurance, but he added it. He never took it off. I have him on video stating he would take it off and he did not.

The only thing I have to say about this location was when I was telling them about the ants story and how dirty the truck was he told me it wasn't his locations fault and that I needed to contact U-Haul like he didn't really care.

I believe if look over my contract you see over price and the Driver door was very not save. Overall It did the job but with the feeling of an overate from the dealer!

There was issues getting into the lock box / using the online process. Had to call uhaul after hours and they figured it out after an hour. The lady I spoke to was amazing!

That truck had a colony of ants in it. Didn't realize it til I got the truck after a few hours cause the passenger kept getting bite and we saw that it was infested with ants. Please check that truck. It was to late to take a picture. Other that it was ok. To damn expensive!!! I want ever use uhaul, I rather go to enterprise and rent a suv.

Not much parking available. I know its hard in your position & location. But if at all possible, try to expand the drop off parking area, which will allow you to handle more drop offs comfortably

It was very difficult to get what I wanted, and even more difficult to get the equipment near me. When picking up the truck it was very dirty, cob webs over the tires even inside the cab itself. There was so many errors on uhauls part , not only did they double charge me but added items I didn't even purchase or get. The communication was terrible. I will next time use another service.

I left a comment a few days ago and I would like to formally rescind that comment (probably immediately below this one, as I am unable to delete it) as it turns out, unfortunately for me, I was completely wrong and as it turns out they did deliver two bags, but because of certain situations was not aware of the second bag. I have returned to the store and apologized for this mistake and he was very gracious and forgiving, which I very much appreciated. Hopefully this teaches others not to be so hasty as I was previously, and will remedy my previous comment. I used them again today to finish my move and everything went very smoothly. I appreciate the owner's forgiveness and will recommend this others.

I received the rental with one bag of furniture coverings in the cab, however was told at the conclusion of the use that the employee put two bags in the cab. When I insisted I only received one bag, the employee continued to insist that he “personally” loaded the bags into my rental. After continuing to insist that he was correct, I began to feel as if he was indirectly accusing me of lying to him. I did not appreciate him inferring I was lying about not returning a second bag. I was charged for the six sheets he said “were not returned” to which I immediately called customer service and disputed the charge. I will not be using this location again, and will ensure that I will not refer anyone to this location in the future.

The gas gauge was at 1/4 or just below when we picked it up. We put in $50 of gas ourselves. We returned the truck with Exactly 1/4 tank. We took a picture of the gauge at drop off. The manager said it was below 1/4 (bending his head to the right to see the gas gauge at a angle in his favor) We Ended up paying an extra $40 for final check out because he said the gas gauge was less that 1/4... by a hair.

The way you keep track of mileage and fuel use is poor and not acceptable. When I took the vehicle the mileage indicated .7 but it was actually .8 . The gas gauge indicated just above half tank. I drove less than 12 miles and put 1.7 gallon gas in. I was charged $11.45 for gas. When I complained the man at first wasn't going to do anything about it. He later called back and said the regional manager agreed to reduce the charge. It's not a matter of just a few dollars. It was aggravating!

DISHONEST!!! First of all, the truck I rented had trash in the storage area. I know you guys have a broom. I found a AA battery, coat hanger, used tissue, and other small assorted trash. This is after I signed for a "clean" truck. Upon return, instead of turning in this truck how I found it, DIRTY, I decided to do the adult thing and swept it out clean, with a dustpan and everything. Then I call U-Haul to make sure everything went smoothly with the charges and found out I got charged $25 for a cleaning fee. Did this office think I wouldn't check the final receipt? I want my cleaning fee back and I want an apology for wasting an hour of my time on hold with U-Haul customer service and never got hold of a customer service representative. If this is what I can expect from your company or your subsidiaries, I guess we will have no dealings in the future. I'd rather pay more and not have to second-guess what is going on behind that cash register of yours. Thank you for my first and LAST U-Haul experience, Post Masters Plus at 1407 Foothill Blvd. in La Verne, CA.

The man that is working there needs help. The truck had 5/8 not 7/8 of a tank of fuel. I didn't notice it until I was a few mile away. The person working there did not check the truck before I left. When I returned the truck he said I could leave and then calls me when Im almost home to tell me he needs my card to refund me what is owed to me.

I don't know how to answer the first question. Average for what? Average of all U-Haul locations? I have little to go on there. Average of all truck rental places? I have slightly more experience on that. Average of all vehicle rental places? I just don't know what "average" is supposed to mean. And I would recommend this location to a friend only if they lived near the location. I wouldn't recommend that they drive out of their way to get to this location.

This was a pickup before the office opened. The truck was clean inside, but the windshield was filthy from dust and dirt on the exterior. I expect that this would have been cleaned before allowed to leave the location.

Our experience was underwhelming due to the fact that our confirmation was for Ontario and at the last minute was rescheduled to LaVerne. The reservation was difficult for the owner to confirm, so he had to cancel and reinstate the reservation, adjust the price to what we were originally quoted. The mileage that we were told would be 77 miles, but the contract came out 71 miles. when we turned the van in we had to pay for 3 miles, we drove 74 miles.
