When dropping off the truck, it said to go to the postal annex. But it should say drop off at the back of the postal annex because I did all the pictures, tried to drop off the keys and postal annex said I had to drive it to the back.

Then I got a call from a uhaul corporate representative that wanted me to change drop off locations because they didn't need the truck at my designated locations which was 14 miles out of my way. When I arrived at the drop off location it had ample parking space and no trucks like the one I dropped off. Postal annex gets an aaa+++ and u haul gets a f 🫣
Jerry BThe app did not work. I did not show up right at 8am to pick up the truck so I had to wait until Postal Annex opened at 10 to get the truck. The app could not locate the store upon drop off. I physical returned the truck on time. I did the app return the next morning. I was then charged an additional fee. The whole on line process is broken. I should not be charged extra because of technical difficulties.

Phanh LOnly issue was when we went to pickup the truck in valley center,ca and the location was closed. We were rerouted to another location and given additional mileage and an additional day.

Thomas HPostal Annex #15 was great! Everyone is friendly and helpful. It was a smooth process renting and checking out a cargo van at this location. I also utilized some of their many office and shipping services as well. Overall great place.
Gabriel AAlways make we sure the cars are clean. The van floor had a lot of dirt and unfortunately the person that help me load the van didn't notice and dirt got all over my decorations. I always get worry I will get charge for some one else mess.

Aric RFirst off my car that I left parked on the property, where I picked up this truck almost got towed away for being parked overnight, while I had possession of the truck. I was not informed by the Uhaul office that if I leave my car on the lot, it may get towed. Then the Uhaul trucks gas cap would not open, even three different men tried. After two and a half hours a mechanic sprayed WD40 on the seal it still would not budge then finally it came off as he lifted the cap to a tilt, while unscrewing it. That time wasted while trying to refuel the truck plus the fact that my cat escaped from the other Uhaul lot; made me late to turn in the truck before closing. It was a very painful, hectic and stressful day. Ended up finding my cat the following day after searching for over 5 hours straight the same night I turned in this truck. Then 3 more hours the following day a Uhaul employee at the Mission Ave, Escondido location found her hidden among the construction material of the property.
Sheila NHad a blow out in the middle of the night, in the middle of NO where on my way to TX with my 2 children. Since my uhaul obviously was not inspected I had to wait in a very unsafe area for almost 3 hours for a tow truck to come help me.

xiaohe cThe location was great! However UHaul customer service from UHaul themselves SUCKS!! After your rental if there's something you wanna discuss its a 30-45 minute wait time. And if you dont wanna wait, and get impatient and go back to the reservation line, they go Oh this is the wrong department and dump ya right back into the 30-45 minute wait. Money coming in,UHaul cant get out of their own way fast enough to help. Once they already got your $$ , you're screwed cuz you already gave them the only thing they were interested in.

Rick PThere were a lot of roaches under the black mat. They were crawling onto my things. I feel violated. If you guys don’t clean your Uhaul, you are leaving a nightmare for the next customer. I have videos and pictures. I will never rent from here again, nor will I recommend Uhaul to anyone. This is the worst experience ever!
louise TThe brakes weren't great when the truck was loaded , I had extended travel with a load on , I had trouble stopping at a couple for red lights .(I Drive my own Truck a 2013 Mack Pinnacle ) So i did notice the brakes weren't that great . The truck also had a tendency to "roadwalk" while driving with a load. On return the young lady was reluctant to check me ,in. She wanted to do it later after I left? I insisted she perform the check in at that time. I wantd the payment finished and no new damage was noted. I never received a hard copy of the contract when i picked the truck up and no one did a walk around with me on picking up the truck . I found that unusual , also I wasnt sure how to present proof of rental if i had been pulled over. over all the truck was clean and and ready. I had put fuel in the truck before I finished my trip due to the fact the beginning fuel amount was low.. I left the truck with more fuel than I received , but i would rather do that as to run out of fuel on the road.. Over all the rental was average and uneventful ( I didn't hit anything and no one hit me ) I added no new damage . thansk for asking my opinion
Kenneth TTruck was fine. Seemed well maintained. But back and cab were dirty. Not swept, candy sunflower seeds, sticky, gummy, goo. We cleaned it so we wouldn’t get charged.

Cindy RU-Haul has been in business since 1945 (77 years this year) and the company can't handle a basic reservation. I made my reservation on June 8th for a June 25th need, that's almost a 2 1/2-week notice (more than what is required to quit a job). U-Haul did not accommodate my pickup or drop-off location. Nor did U-Haul have the correct size dolly I requested. The truck had no gas, so I had to take time away from my moving process to go add gas to the truck before I could even start my moving process. A waste of my time.

Christopher CEnded up charging me based on hours the office was opened not the agreed upon 24 hours. I rented the truck at 7pm and returned it the next day at 6:15pm but the postal annex closed at 6pm and prior to that I was charged another full day before or right when they closed. Not a uhaul location so customer service was lacking almost if I was a hassle for coming into a postal annex to rent a truck. I will ponly go to uhaul specific places to rent from now on.
Sean SNothing they were very professional and friendly. I had a few questions that got answered. The question was why can’t a UN-License driver make a reservation? You know to rent the vehicle you need a license ? I’m just trying too reserve it and I didn’t think that was fair.
