I reserved the van in the early afternoon and scheduled a pick up at 9:00am then got a call that evening the van would not be available until 12:00. In the end no big deal as I was not on a tight schedule. I assume that whoever had the van was running over. I should note, the call I got was from someone other than the rental facility and it was flagged by my phone as a possible scammer!

Matthew JAC was not working well in the truck. The AC kept turning off and the heater would turn on, even when the dial was turned to cool. Also, there was no way to adjust the side mirrors and the staff did not want to show how to adjust side mirrors.
Armand NThe gentleman was efficient and organized and had everything ready for us. Unfortunately the gas in the truck had been siphoned out and we had to get gas immediately after pick up. Certainly not his fault though and aside from that I would recommend this location.

Francis HThe storage area wasn't swept out, dirty and dusty inside. Truck only had 1/8 of a tank, luckily I didn't have a big trip and only needed to put gas in at the end to an 1/8 of tank, for the next fellow to possibly gas up twice.

CONSTANCE WUnfortunately the gas tank was completely empty when we got into the uhaul. We went back in to tell the person working and he came out to check and stated the gas must have been stolen. He asked us to drive it still and put gas into it and bring it back empty. When we filled the gas tank it never registered that gas was put in so the uhaul we drove needs a check up.

barbara rOwner is unorganized and unhelpful. Had difficult time processing check in and credit card payment. Didn't have a credit card reader so had to call some authorization company on the phone and read the credit card number into automated service. Process failed multiple times. Ultimately paid via cash and now have multiple charges on credit card that need to be reversed. Owner is unwilling to help expedite the process and refuses to look for the transaction. Says there's no record of it at his store. Will never rent from this location again.

STEPHEN CVehicle was beyond filthy. Looks like it hasn't been cleaned on inside or outside for months. Smelt dusty and dirty on inside. My expectation when I rent anything is to receive it clean and not have to wipe the entire inside down before operating. Then again the store renting this item is also filthy... Owner did not want to do pre or post inspection. Only said he would send an email with final invoice. Still waiting for invoice to make sure I was charged correctly.

JIM VA headlight didn't work. It's not the first time this happened (not from this location though). I wished they would check the lights before renting them, it's a liability driving with just one light. Roadside Assistance was able to fix it but this malfunction cost me a lot of valuable time!

Debbie JThe truck I rented had a left headlight out. I didn’t realize until I had to return it after dark. I would recommend the location based on convenience, but the service was not happy and friendly during pickup as I picked up later than expected.

John LI spent over an hour trying to locate the orange lock box pictured in the self return online tutorial. It did not exist so I put the keys in a mail slot. Directions were unclear for customers dropping off after business hours. Very unsatisfied.
Michael SThe gas tank was completely empty. I had to go immediately to a gas station, and was concerned that I might not make it. The operator should have check the truck on check in and at least put a little gas in the truck for the next customer.
Anne DI drove 20 miles and got charged $28 for 4 gallons of gas. 1) People on internet report using a 26-foot uhaul, with a trailer, and getting 8 MPG. It had a small truck and Uhaul claims I got 5MPG. This is called fraud. 2) I was charged $7 a gallon. This is called thievery. Unless this is adjusted, you can trust that I will never again use a U-Haul in my entire life. I will also tell all my friends and family never to use a U-Haul. I will also post reviews on Google, Facebook and Yelp. I intend to cost you thousands of dollars for the money you stole from me.

Paul EI also rented a uhaul two weeks ago from the same location. This most recent rental was much better than the last. The first time, the tire pressure and check engine indicator lights were on (!). No such problems this time!
Daniel SI reserved at another location, and U-haul moved my reservation to this location. When I got there they did not even have some of the equipment I had reserved.
Brian GI reserved the truck, dollies and blankets online. The online portal was incorrect regarding availability, and i was forced to complete my rental by going to another UHaul site to get the appliance dolly. UHaul must do a better job of managing inventory at smaller sites. The people at both sites were great and accommodating.
Joshua PThe truck exterior and interior was dirty. The windows were dirty. The dash lights didn't work, therefore I couldn't see the displays or controls when I was driving in the dark. I couldn't tell how fast I was going. This is very unsafe.
Jason PThe owner/employee at postal annex was rude, slow, communicated poorly, and lacked any service business etiquette. He was disrespectful and lacked understanding of the sequencing of steps in his process to accommodate my on-line rental. I would not choose this U-Haul location again.

MASAKI Ni made a reservation for Tuesday at 4pm and received the confirmation email. When I showed up on time, the man at the store refused to help me and pointed at a phone number on the counter. I called the number several times but no one answered. Eventually (after about 20 minutes, the man at the store called someone who told me I have to make a new reservation so I did and after 30 minutes of waiting I was given the combination to pick up the truck. When I opened the truck I was hit with a smell of urine, there was an open container of wet cat food along with straws and other trash. I was already late so I had to go but it was clear the truck hadn’t been cleaned in a long time, there was dried fluid of some sort all over the dash and the steering wheel was sticky. I had drive out of my way to go home and get supplies to clean myself and the truck before I could proceed. I had hoped that the cleaning would alleviate the smell of cat (??) urine but it did not. After all that, it still ended up costing more am than double the advertised price. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

Toni DPersonnel was helpful, especially when I had trouble figuring out how to upload a picture of my license. Equipment was ready and checkout was easy. Return of equipment was via drop box and there were no problems.
Ron AIf I could give negative stars for customer service at this location I would. I checked in online only to turn up and have to do it all again manually with the rudest and least helpful person I’ve ever come across. I rarely give reviews for anything but felt compelled to provide one here. Stay away at all costs.
Donal LThe U-haul business model is based on bare bones to poor customer service. This location takes that to heart.
Timothy BThe guy that helped sucked Donkey Balls. He acted as if he didn’t want to help me. He just grunted his answers when I asked him questions. He was really awful. If I had an extra day to pick up my merchandise I would have went somewhere else.
April MI can't think of anything to improve. I liked going to this location as I did not have to stand in a long line (which usually happens at the major locations) just to get my rental. Also, sometimes there is a long line when you have to return it as well. My cargo van had less than 4,000 miles on it - was brand new basically - and it was clean!!!!
