Whoever runs this location (Robby?) is great. Everything went very smoothly. Totally up front about rental charges, which were reasonable. Very easy return, no unexpected final fees. & Very good vehicle. Would, and will, highy recommend this location to others.

Great customer service. Vehicle was made available on short notice. Vehicle had left over drinks and garbage in the doors from previous customer. Could have cleaned out the vehicle inside before releasing the vehicle. Overall very satisfied with the vehicle.

LOREN MU-Haul almost screwed me over. I ordered a U-Haul to be picked up in Walnut Creek. When i arrived the receptionist said that U-Haul changed the pickup location to Pittsburg, 40 minutes away. I received absolutely no update in the form of email or text so i had to rent a van for $0.30 more per mile. Update your stupid system to notify people like any decent fucking company would do.

TREVOR JMy geolocation services never worked for my self check in. I followed instructions to Allow location services on my browser. Luckily the Postal Annex store was still open for 30 more minutes and could help manually check me in and give me a key. This would have been a disaster if I booked for a time that the Postal Annex store was closed.
ALPHE SThe business where the U-haul service is located is very good. However, the parking area is too small for trailers. It would be better if the trailers (and trucks) could be stored in a larger area behind the store. The trailer had a tire with a leak. It had only 10 psi of air pressure and had to be filled with air several times during the rental. The trailer smelled strongly of marijuana. I wiped it down completely with cleanser and also sprayed a deodorant, but the smell lingered. Also, the trailer did not have the correct safety chains. I used some of my own equipment to attach the cables that were on it.
CRAIG MEverything went smoothly as far as the rental timing was concerned and the pricing was reasonable. I was disappointed to find that the passenger seat was full of dog hair though. It’s a good thing I don’t have allergies and didn’t have a passenger who needed to sit there.

CYNTHIA EGreat service. I plan on using this facility more. I prefer standard cargo vans over the larger sprinter vans due to overhead clearance issues at places that I go. The 10 foot trucks are sometimes what I need when I have more to do. So these factors and the fairly inexpensive costs are key for me to keep coming back.
KELLY BHave a clean, well-maintained and gassed-up vehicle on pick-up. Don’t try to tack on charges for your own failing to deliver those things.
JOHN VTank was on empty. Manager would not reimburse me a fuel credit for unused gas. He was rude and unprofessional. I want to file a complaint against him. Windows and mirrors were so dirty I had to clean them to drive safely. Never received any paperwork by email.

JOHN Gmaybe is not necessarily the location's fault but Uhaul needs to be more proactive while communicating with customers in regards to their lack of equipment and last minute changes or cancelations. Someone is lacking and when you call the Uhaul number angry ladies answer the phone and they insist that they text or called you but my Iphone does not show any history or any (zero/none) notices. The customer goes to pick up a truck only to find out there's nothing for you and you have to run and try to find a truck and drive far away to get a rental. Never again Uhaul.

GABRIELA OI was overcharged (dispute in progress.) The first van I was assigned was undrivable. The second one which I was told wasn't fully checked in was dirty and I was charged a cleaning fee when I brought it back. I was double charged the insurance fee.
BRUCE SVan was not in good condition for renting. It was very dirty on floor, seats, windows. Air conditioning did not work. Sometimes I had the impression that transmission was slipping.

TODD TThe check in process was great! Friendly staff and helped answer any questions. She explained things thoroughly. However, the van was very dirty (dust and mud throughout the van) and smelled like farm animals. It seemed like it had not been cleaned recently . Additionally, it was practically empty on fuel (our contract said it would start at 3/4 of a tank and it was actually less than 1/4, so we called the location to fix this at the time). We had limited time, so we went and fueled up ourselves and wiped it down with some Clorox wipes. The actual usage of the van was fine. No issues there. Other than the smell - we kept windows rolled down. Our usage of the van included moving a couch and other furniture. The size was perfect for what we needed. Upon return, the staff member just took the keys and said we would get a receipt shortly. I asked if we needed to do anything else and they said we were all good. The van was dropped off at 3:30 pm, but it showed still active on my account until the following morning. Once charged, it showed an extra 25 dollar charge that was not mentioned upon check in or check out. I’ve used U-Haul for many moves and projects. Generally, I have great experiences and everything is super easy. However, I am very disappointed in this experience and will likely not be using U-Haul or this location in the future.

ROSS FI was able to rent a van the same day. Everything was great.
WARNER GThe truck's AC was not working, which with the 95 degree heat out there was not fun. Also it had a low washing fluid alert. When I was self-returning the truck via the app it crashed and then the process would not start again. Given that I was charged, I assume it all went through.

kent fWhen I rented the truck in CA, it had 1/3 tank full; when I returned it, it had 3/4 tank full. I did NOT get a credit for the gas I put in.
EDDA CEnsure gas in the vehicle, the vehicle is clean and in good working order; fuel was on empty, windshield dirty and hard to see through and the AC was not working. The workers at this location were nice but tasked with multitasks handling UHaul and retailing with only one person staffing.
LG AGas tank was not what was recorded and didn’t have the furniture dolly that I ordered. Couldn’t print new contract when asked to reflect the problems on pick up.

Jochen KWe had trouble getting the trunk. We had a 4:30 pick up. The people who had rented the truck before us did not return the truck til 2 hours after it was due. We had to do a pick up without a person due to the store being close. Because the other people were late it messed our pick up time. It took us an hour or so talking to customer service to finally get started. Over 3 hours after our original pick up time. Which messed up the schedule for moving. I probably would not rent again due to the fact our day was put off track.
Belinda ALocation is a one lane road behind a strip mall- no markings- I had to u turn to exit with the trailer attached. Staff was informative to advise that my trailer would not be returned at the time expected. Overall- just OK - weakest U-Haul experience to date.

kent fSmooth pickup at this U-Haul location. Debris in the van floor which I removed before returning bc I was afraid they’d charge me for someone else’s mess. Was charged a $25 cleaning fee anyway?? Called customer support and the U-Haul location had submitted a photo of some scant dirt in (I think?) the footwell. I mean, I wore shoes. If I’d have known they were sensitive to some trace dirt I’d have brought a towel with me and took a whole 5 seconds to wipe off. Use at your own risk.
Alice CThe clerk has a line of people waiting. Tells me to wait and goes outside for over 15 min. - comes back smelling like cigarette smoke and gives me a dirty truck with an empty tank. Same guy who over charged me before and is over charging me again with this rental truck I just rented.
Anna TThis Postal Annex is notably better than the local U-Haul location. The local U-Haul location is slow and dishonest so I always prefer to come here. Postal Annex gives you a much more personal and honest service. I recommend it over and above going in to U-Haul.

Jorge GThey did not check in my vehicle when I brought it back until the next day thus resulting in excess charges. They did not provide the accurate moving supplies I had reserved yet they charged me for them. They provided extra supplies I did not reserve and then charged me for those as well. When I called about the double charges and the fact they did not return my vehicle that was dropped off 3+ hours before closing this doubling my charges the owner rabi said he would deal with this Monday and call me back. He never did. Nor did he properly refund me.

Bryan FThe location didn’t have a u-haul sign at tge storefront. After the paperwork was completed he tried to sell me a used flashlight for $65. The van was dirty with just a 1/4 tank of gas. He then charged me a cleaning fee and I used the van for less than 10miles and hauled a mattress. It was raining so actually, the van was cleaner than before I rented it. Ill never go back there again. No thanks u haul. Never again.
