The truck could’ve used a wash because the windows were dirty but other than that it was brand new and in great condition and the staff at the postal annex was fantastic. Could not check it in remotely though. Kept getting an error that it couldn’t verify me

Truck was out of gas and would not start. There was only one person at the location and he could not help so he told me that if I still wanted the truck that I had to go to the gas station and purchase a gas can and gas. I did and the truck still would not start. The only truck he had was 10 feet. I was forced to take that one and make several trips. I was told that he spoke to the manager and they would reimburse me for the gas can and the gas. When I returned the truck, there was no one there. Never heard from anyone. Terrible experience and very stressfull.

JAN LOverall, my rental experience was good. The location was convenient, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout the process. The only issues I encountered were with the condition of the truck. It still had a padlock on the cargo area from the previous renter, which I didn’t discover until I had already arrived at my off-site location. This caused an unnecessary delay while I contacted the rental office to obtain the lock combination. Fortunately, the staff was able to provide it, but this situation could have been avoided with a thorough inspection of the truck before it was rented out. Additionally, the moving blankets provided in the truck were covered in tape, making them difficult to use. It appeared that a previous renter had applied the tape and it had not been removed. This also suggests that the cargo area was not fully inspected or restocked prior to my rental. Aside from these two issues, everything else went smoothly, and I appreciated the helpfulness of the staff. I hope this feedback helps improve the inspection process for future rentals.
