Not trying to overcharge someone after they paid in full already also I am owed money because I did not drive 60 miles at all my new place is on 5.9 miles and when I tried to address this issue I was given no help so not only did I get robbed but tried to take more from me just ridiculous p.s the reason for the upcharge not answered I paid for 60 miles and only drove 20 but was charged for 60 and he refused to change it

The lady at the front seemed to not want to do any of the check-in process. She first told me to open the check in process on my phone and I insisted I selected the option for the cashier to handle it. She then had me fold my moving blankets and remove the dolly’s from the truck. She even tried ro get me to park the truck in the back lot for her.

The truck needs some transmission work really bad. The place was crowded when we dropped it off some guys were working in the parking lot so we had to wait till then moved to get the truck parked. All in all it wasn’t bad! Just a hard move!!

The man was very rude. He told my husband that we would be charged a cleaning fee , my husband let the guy know that we received the truck like that but we still swept the truck out like the guy asked. 2 hours after leaving we received a notification that we were charged a cleaning fee AFTER cleaning the truck out like we were asked.

I don’t really leave negative reviews but I do not recommend the two locations I had to pick up the Uhaul truck and trailer from. We reserved a truck, trailer, and movers at least two weeks in advance. Neither the truck or trailer were available when we showed up for our reservation. The individual that helped me at the 7747 W US Hwy 90, San Antonio, TX location was no help at all, seemed overly tired and could not put a sentence together to save his life. The general manager had to step in while also helping another customer. I had to reschedule the movers multiple times due to having to pick up the truck and trailer from different locations. After 3 hrs we were told the vehicle is available at the 12135 Potranco Rd location. By the time I picked up both rentals we had to cancel and rebook movers for another day. We are not please with the both locations in San Antonio, TX we went to.

The U-Haul was in awful condition. The entire box was full or oil spills floor to ceiling. Had to spend extra money to ensure none of my furniture touched the floor or walls. The cabin of the truck smelled of urine and was full of trash and oil stains as well. The radio inside the cabin did not work at all. The contractor inside of the liquor store was very unprofessional and rude.

We had the reservation for 8am and movers hired for 9am. And waited until 10am when they opened to find out that we had no truck. After some back and forth the owner got us going in a truck since she could see I was very frustrated at having reserved this way in advance and hired people to load my truck. Only because of this will I give this place 5 stars. Otherwise the location wasn’t safe. The staff was so so rude to everyone she spoke with. It made us never want to rent again but we had to and our second experience at a different location showed us how different it can be for. This location. Rent from this place as a last resort and go in knowing it’s a liquor store and the owner is blunt.

After the person inspect the rental truck he gave me thumbs up meaning the truck is good at the time of the drop off, 10 minutes later he call me and said the windshield have a rock chip and like a have an insurance included he have to do the procedure to repair the windshield, i don't recall hit me anything on the windshield but i didn't have time to came back to check, so i guess he charge to the insurance company after all

Reserving the vehicle online worked fine, but the app had issues. Getting the keys was difficult. I feel like some of the things required like taking a picture of my license and snapping a selfie could have been done in advance. It delayed the entire checkout process. I could not upload all the pictures of the vehicle, the app quit responding during upload attempts, I tried multiple times. I verified the additional dolly and blankets were in the vehicle. At this point I got in the truck, drove off and started packing my things and never successfully finished the checkout process. I requested a 2 day rental but for some reason it put me down as 24 hours, not 48 hours, the final bill was a bit of a surprise, I didn't expect to pay as much as I did. Checking in the vehicle worked as expected, I was able to take pictures, upload successfully and drop the keys in the drop box. I think the checkout process could be streamlined a bit and overall the app needs improvement.

A hostile and drunk person lives on the parking lot that threaten to kill me and other around. This location is dangerous for anyone alone. Security needs to get involved and changes need to be made this area is 100% unsafe. Person living followed people around treating people if they look at they he will stab and kill them or if they do anything to his dog they he will kill them.

When I first arrived at this location I was very surprised that this was actually a liquor store. Putting the oddity of a liquor store (of all places) renting out vehicles to people aside, I was surprised to learn that upon my arrival at 1:03 PM that the door was locked. Being that my appointment was at 1:00 PM, I was understandably confused.After tugging on the locked door, I see a woman who I thought was an employee come to the door, and point me in the direction as if I needed to walk to a back entrance to enter the location. Doing this turned out to be fruitless, as upon looking for a side door I saw that both the sides, and back of the store were empty with no one around.As I walk back to the entrance of the store, I'm then rushed by the store's attendant, who claims he was by the Uhaul Van checking it prior to my appointment. This is false because I checked the van out myself before I entered the store looking for any obvious damage that I may need to mention when I got to the counter. The attendant locked the door and simply vanished with a customer (not me) inside of the store gambling her life away on the unlicensed gambling machines located inside of this store.I didn't chose to do business with Uhaul to be sent to a sketchy store, and also be greeted by an annoyed employee simply for asking why the door was locked when the sign clearly says "This door to remain unlocked during business hours." I should also be able to bring my child inside of the store with me, without having to be worrying if they'll drive the car off , or worse, get taken because I cannot let them enter a LIQURO STORE when all I'm trying to do is get a Uhaul. This location should have never been allowed to rent any sort of vehicles. Imagine the absurdity if you were able to purchase bottles of tequila, or vodka inside of your local Hertz, or Enterprise. All it takes is one tragic mistake. Do the right thing, and vet your locations a little better.Then 9' van itself was also very dirty, with a rubber mat in the back that was covered in grime, dirty, grass, and leaves.Thank you.

The person who rented the U-Haul told us that if we came before the stipulated time to get the car, he would refund our money. Since I wanted it for hours, but he demanded that we do it for a day, and when we arrived to drop the car off at the establishment, he said he wouldn't return anything, and that he never said he would return anything. I picked up the U-Haul at 11 a.m. and dropped it off at 2:39 p.m. It's not fair.
