The fees tacked on top of the rental were not disclosed in the renting process. I was quoted $67 for my rental and then day of my total came out to $162. The location was closed and we had to walk back and forth to find the truck, get the keys, and get everything started. I won’t be renting from U-haul again and I just told my friends who are moving soon to not too either. They need to be more transparent about the fees that will be charged. Mileage costs $.99 PER MILE and there is also a fuel charge at the end. There is also an environmental fee and renters tax. Extremely disappointing experience for my first time.

The location was good, but the truck I rented had its check engine light on, the sun visor was broken, and the driver's side mirror was in a horrid place without the ability to be adjusted.
AARON GGuy that was renting the truck to us was rude and used profanity when speaking to us when we had issues with the truck he insisted that I be inside so he could show me the truck "worked fine" and when I hopped into the truck with him he started yelling at me and using profanity and before I could even put on my seatbelt he shot the truck forward and I went flying towards the dash he was extremely defensive and disrespectful about our troubles and I would give him zero stars if I could I would never rent from U-Haul again after this experience my email is [redacted] and my phone number is [redacted] I expect to be contacted about this situation as he was entirely disrespectful, unprofessional and caused a hazard to my body.
SARA RDidn't notify me, about truck not being available! So unexpected expenses were added due to making more than one trip with a small truck.
