The Poulsbo U-haul facility was great. The Bremerton U-Haul facility was terrible. Did not have our truck ready and told us we'd have to figure it out ourselves. That's how we ended up at the Poulsbo facility.mark M.

Truck had a hole in the roof. I said I only needed 12 blankets and I was given 24. I didn't use them and they were still folded in the bag. I asked to be reimbursed and I was denied. I think this is the last time I use uhaul. Penske seems more customer service driven.Brady G.
To clarify, there was dog hair all over the passenger seat of the cargo van. It did not bother me because I'm not allergic to dogs â€¦ But this would not write high for cleanliness. The cargo portion of the van was clean.PATRICIA L.

I will never do repeat business with this location again. They charged me a fuel charge even though I brought the truck back with the same or more fuel than I started with (filled with additional fuel at location, after I brought the truck back). They also charged for miles not used. Mi out was 5 mi off. Rip-off, Needs to be checked out, they are dishonest and doing U-Hual a dis-service. Manager very unprofessional and most definitely didn't seem to know what he was doing. I also plan on posting this, on social media, if I don't get a response. You need to manage your dealers better and hold them accountable. Shame on YouDENNIS D.

The safe move coverage was quoted to me as $14 and I made a specific question to him "is that $14 for the entire coverage or is that per day" and he answered me is $14 for the entire rental. I remember that specifically because why at $14 wouldn't everybody take that coverage and he nodded his head at me right. I get the bill and it says it's $42 so I will be addressing that at the location tomorrow.CHRISTINE B.

I had a flat tire at the half way point of my trip and the road service assistance was quick and very efficient in pullman with Les Schwann and the employee Isiah was very efficient and helpful as well When we returned the trailer at Poulsbo the owner there was also very helpfulMichelle B.

The people at this 19560 Poulsbo location were great 5 stars. I cannot say the same for the experience as a whole. First, my reservation was changed a week before to pickup from 1195 Tahoe ln in Silverdale to U-Haul moving and storage of Bremerton, which is 12 miles away from the original pickup location. On the day of pickup we arrived at the Bremerton location at 10am and waited in a line of 8+ people, for 30+ minutes, being serviced by one person at the counter, to be told that the van I reserved a month ago was still in use by someone and that they don't have a backup. At this point I mentioned that I had made the reservation a month ago and we have people waiting, but was met with the response to the effect that, "I can't just make vans appear out of thin air". At this point I was pretty frustrated with the situation and asked if there was any other locations that have one? The person behind the counter sent a written message out to the U-Haul van coordinators stating she has to do that before calling as per protocol and mentioned there is a waiting area we can wait inside the building. The moving team was already assembled at the address and we were already 40+ minutes behind, I wasn't about to wait idle while a local truck was rented out from under me, so I started calling the other locations on my own. Meanwhile my father who happened to encounter a mechanic who asked if everything was alright, explained our situation and within 5-10 minutes found a truck at the poulsbo location. Even though it was in poulsbo, 16 miles away, and our plans for the day were more than an hour behind, we were grateful to at least have a van to use for the big moving day. The person at this Poulsbo location was very professional and saved the face of the company in my eyes. Recommendations: 1. If the van is not available at the reserved location, coordinate with the other locations to ensure availability for that van on that day before the customer is expected to pickup the vehicle. 2. Call/notify the customer the night before or morning of, to let them know the van is not available at the specified location. Ask if they want to pick it up at a different location. 3. Don't make curt remarks to customers like, 'I can't make vans appear out of thin air'. Moving is stressful and people rely on the vehicle acquisition part of the moving process to be reliable. When the plans get thrown off because of unreliability in this area, people can get frustrated, especially when they are met with curt remarks such as these. 4. If the expectation is for the person moving the van to clean it and fold the pads before dropping it off, make sure the same is true for the pickup.CHRISTOPHER O.

I just have a problem with getting charged for over mileage , the state police rerouted me several times on the way across the US, it's not like I can say no, and was contacted to see if I was going to turn the truck in early, told them I would be, they indicated I would get a discount, I didn't, but still got charged for over mileage. The truck ran great, I got what I needed to done, just think the over mileage is a little ridiculous since I turned it in early, just saying.PHILLIP R.

Truck felt like it was going to breakdown, couldn't go more than 10-15 mph up hills. Truck was not fully cleaned when I got it, bottle caps and random debris in the cabin. The bed looked fine when we got it, we only moved boxes and furniture and left it in as good if not better condition than when we received it but was still charged a 25.00 cleaning fee. Will not use uhaul again if this isn't made right.Colin S.

When there is only one employee on duty, they have to leave the shop to come out to help with the trailers. This means you have to fend for yourself to figure out how to put the trailer back where it belongs when you are returning it.Julie R.
