As previously stated, glad I had a picture of odometer and fuel gauge. My attendant for vehicle turn in stated a quantity of fuel (more that what it had at pickup) and I showed him the picture and he made the appropriate adjustment. Lastly, he said I was over my mileage (which I was told was 245) which I was under but was charged .40 per mile over the contract amount of I believe he said 186. Dont recall how many miles over, but not a lot...Scott B.

I thought I was just going to pick up keys and go. Ended up staying at the CHEVRON for 30 minutes as they tried to figure out how to work the laptop and ended up using their cell phones to process my information, to include the credit card I made the reservation under. Why am I getting charged per hour if I arrived at uhaul 15 minutes before my pickup time but not driving off until 30 minutes after my reservation time?Juan L.

I do NOT recommend U-Haul in general! I will avoid U-haul at all costs in the future. My reserved truck was not available I found out 10 mins before my pick-up time. I called the "traffic management center" and they booked me a truck at another location which I arrived to find that there was no truck available there either as the "traffic management center" double booked the truck. I was told they do this frequently do this. The guys at the Cheveron should not be put in this situation by poor management from a multi-million dollar company.SHAWN T.

Had to readjust trailer chain as it wasn't attached correctly, and chain was dragging on road and lots of bumping and rocking until it was adjusted. Once properly adjusted the trailer worked wonderfully during an almost 6,000 trip across country.VALERIE B.

Took over 30 minutes to get the truck cause the cashier had to keep helping people checkout in the gas station. When I finally got the truck it was dirty, the mileage was wrong and the tank was not full. When I informed the employee she told me take a picture and send it on the link Uhaul sent me and I wouldn't be charged for the mileage. When I returned the truck it was the same employee and she told me everything was fixed . She wouldn't close out my contract though cause she couldn't leave the gas station but ensured me I wouldn't be charged for the extra mileage . I than get my contract 4 hours later and I'm charged for the mileage I didn't not put on the truck. I also returned the truck full of gas when it was only 3/4 full when I rented the truck. After the experience I will never rent from Uhaul again!JOSEPH V.

I tried to login online, pay in advance, and sign in for pick up before arriving. Still took about 1 hour to get my 6x12' U-Haul. The service person had to delete me and then have me reapply for the rental. I was charged twice some how?( just got refunded for 1 charge). Finally got my U-Haul trip finished and tried to drop it off that night. My app/ account had no record of me having a U-Haul, thus I could not drop it off. The next morning I spent 1 hour on the phone with customer service to "sort it out and get a refund for 1 of the charges". They finally gave me a drop off location In the middle of no where. A small gas station about 10 miles outside of town, when they were better and closer options. When I arrived at the drop off location they asked me if I was at the wrong location. They were not expecting a drop off. After about 20 minutes of confusion and their computer software not working they told me its fine and I can go. I did finally get an email saying the return was completed. I'm not sure where the problems came from or why it was so difficult, as every person I talked to seemed to have no idea what was going on. The people I worked with were pretty decent for the most part, maybe the software/ website for U-Haul is obsolete. Either way, when loading several thousand pounds of metal tools in and out of a trailer by my self was the easiest part of the U-Haul experience, some thing is seriously wrong with- U-Haul.JUSTIN SAMUEL K.
The guy I left the truck with was rude. The truck was dirty, there was trash left in it from the last mover. I was quoted one price and was overcharged. I was charged for 71 miles but only drove it 44 miles. I took a picture of the miles and gas gages, so I know how far I went. I also turned it in 30 min earlier than I thought I would need it. I will never use this store again. The last time I rented a truck and used it 7 hours, drove it 75 or 80 miles and I only paid $89.00. The truck was clean and I was very happy.
