Couldn't find the office - can't see street number and only a small photocopied page taped to the door to indicate it's also a UHaul outlet. VERY untidy and dirty inside office. I did everything online beforehand but employee was checking it all on his phone (instead of the laptop on his desk) and he missed stuff so made it slower than it had to be. The van we rented had pop or something spilled in the back. Didn't look like it had been cleaned out in years. Overall VERY subpar to any rental experience I've had in the past.Lisa D.
The van that I rented was extremely dirty. The inside had not been cleaned for who knows how long. I had to clean the debris in the back of the van before I could use it. I also used sani-wipes to clean the cab of the van, considering we are all living with Covid-19 you would think that this would have had extra attention and detail to clean it. Overall the fellow that handle the rental was pleasant, I did have to wait for him as he was not at his office at the pick up time nor was he there when I dropped the van off. I have yet to receive a detailed summary of my rental. On a bright note the van ran great!!!David G.

The vendor was not clear on refilling with fuel before returning the cargo van. I only put on 33 kilometres and I didn't notice the fuel gauge when I left the depot because my mind was preoccupied on the tasks that I had to perform with the cargo van. The next day upon returning the cargo van, I filled it with Gas as per the normal protocol that most of us in this world are used to, "re-fill to Full before returning the vehicle" The gas receipt after filling it up was $42.46 for 34.552 litres at $1.229 per litre. This was grossly out-of-line with only traveling 33 kilometres. As well as, the contract stipulated the vehicle went out with a tank of fuel measuring 15/16, which does not correspond with 33 kilometres and filling the tank up. The tank capacity on this van is 117 litres, therefore each 1/16 capacity of the tank equals 7.3125 litres. So if 7.3125 litres is the difference between 15/16 of a tank and a full tank, then that means I used 27.2395 of litres to travel 33 kilometres, which is absurd! Therefore the fuel reading that the van went out with, was incorrect and was a lot less than 15/16 and more like, 3/4 to 13/16 of a tank. The other thing the Cargo Van is not stored at the rental site and in fact is stored across the highway (highway 19A) and the only crosswalk is at least a block away on both sides of the highway. This is a poor and potentially dangerous practice.Daryl C.

The location was great!! Uhaul customer service was not!!! The call centre canceled our reservation because we were 45 min late arriving to our pickup location without a phone call or email!!! So the guy at Practicar did his best to get our booking Re-confirmed, but it took almost one hour to sort everything out!!! I was so disappointed in Uhaul for trying to cancel my booking!!!! Then my phone doesn't have data so when we arrived to our location the contract shows that I have to fill the gas over 5/8 when the line was just over half!!! So disappointed in Uhaul and I always use you!!!! I may not be in the future!!!! This was a much unnecessary stress added to our experience!!!!!!!! Could a manager from the call centre please call me Jason @ 403-891-5644 to explain this a little further it would be appreciated!!Jason S.

Its a big empty shell of a building. And cold, turn on some heat. The fast check in by phone is crap. I was in a rush and there were minor issues with truck. Milage was out by two clicks and cab was not really clean. Ap would not let me go until i had uploaded photos. The upload took forever so i finally left. About five minutes later got notified that all was good. Overall it was stressfull and when did they start taking pictures of our licenses. Used to really like u haul Rented from them for years, probably still will but pretty unhappy with this experience.Jack S.

The gentleman renting the truck had no idea what he was doing. We came in for a 12:30pm rental & didn't leave with the truck till 1:10pm. When we returned the truck, it took him forever to figure out what he was doing & then still couldn't figure it out so we left & he emailed me the receipt etc. The whole experience was horrendous!David John Walte H.
